It's hard to believe she passed just four months after this performance from lung cancer. You'd never know she was ill by watching or listening to this performance. She was one of the greats!!

I doubt that most of today's crop of singers could even remember all the lyrics to a great song like this....I'm so glad that I grew up during the time that artists like Donna Summer (and so many more) ruled the airwaves.......They gave our generation so many great memories, which will last our lifetime....... Thank You!!

I saw her in LA in the latter years. Her voice was amazing. We were all stunned how beautiful and powerful it was. She commented on gaining weight ‘I was eating potatoes chips’.the audience cheered her on and she started cry. It was so moving that perhaps the latter years were a bit tougher. But it made her more human and she sang the roof off the Amphitheater.

This version is the BEST, I am a musician, a drummer of 40 plus years, That orchestra and rhythm section is fabulous, that bass player and drummer and very good together, Donna fits right in with them, TONS of POWER there, great groove, the music of today, well just plain SUCKS, if you can even call it music, all electronic no real musicians, (cheap way out). Bring back the real music, all the Luther's, Donna's, Michael, Whitney, etc, Donna was the best...................................RIP Donna

Amen Sandra! God I miss those days, the era, Disco music, listening to the late Disco Queen Mrs. Donna Summers. Back in the Disco era when this song came on there was no room in the dance floor to dance! I miss the styles, back when people actually would dress up to go dancing in the Nightclubs, concerts, wedding receptions, house parties not like nowdays! Of my many, many regrets my life was never seen her life in concert back when she was alive. First time I heard her singing was back in 1977 when the song Love To Love You Baby! Back when Disco music was at It's peak and all her other beautiful, sexy songs! I keep on saying that there will never be nobody like her singing, her style of music, or anybody come close. I've listening to this song, danced to it, and also still got the vinyl records and many more if her songs in vinyl records, eight track which to me back then was a piece of garbage for who remembered the tape would get stuck and break just like cassettes! But still I miss these music, those days that came and went by so quickly .Rest in peace Donna Summers and long live Disco music forever! ❤️ Frank.

Kevin, This is Donna only six years (?) away from being felled by cancer. She's a hot, sexy middle-aged woman at the peak of her agency. I think her vocal delivery here is better than her twenty-something rendition on the original album. Phenomenal beauty, grace and a voice that would put any opera singer to shame, as she blows that chorus and orchestra off the stage.

Absolutely. I saw her in Concert in the early 80s, and to be honest I never appreciated her voice/talent until then......she sang "Don't Cry for Me Argentina". Since then, an avid fan.

Richard Harris sings my favorite version of this great song, why? well he ain't a singer but gives it every thing he has and to hell with the strain, missed notes. This version is how it should sound, Donna nailed every thing she ever sang as she has a truly great voice, power range and effortless delivery, no one will deliver this song any were as good as she does. Class as they say, will always show and here its right there with every single word delivered by the great Miss. Summers. God bless her for so many memories.
