It’s just the voices, the harmonies, the blend, the tone of each of their voices. It’s like you can’t do nothing but, just be in awe and get chills all over your body. Lord have mercy!!
Talent this good is timeless!! I hope that Sheila and Valerie read these comments from time to time and see how much their performances are still moving people to this day. Rest in peace Fayette!!!

Wow. I've never heard this song covered like this. It's not just the great harmonies but the stage presence and beauty of these women was exceptional. I grew up in the era of "when will I see you again", but when I see videos of that era it blows my mind how musically talented these 3 women were.
I just stumbled upon a video of these 3 beautiful ladies and I am in awe of their presence as well as their performance. Their voices blend so beautifully together. How am I just finding them in 2024🔥♥️
@@recalcitrantone To be honest, The Jones Girls and The Emotion are phenomenal (Nights over Egypt and Don't ask my neighbour are on my top 50 songs of all time probably. But I feel like those 3 right here are just in a different league vocally. They can all sing lead, and if you listen closely Valerie and Sheila switch Alto and Tenor often in this performance ( plus the harmonies are very very difficult, and I believe Fayette went for Tenor around 5:25 while Valerie went for Soprano ) These 3 are just built different, cuz pulling this thing live is not easy task.
@@vybz974I have to strongly disagree with you on that The three degrees were an older group compared to the Jones girls and naturally as a group had way more experience in public performances but their harmonies and they vocals were not as tight as the Jones girls they always had superior vocals due to The jones girls are sisters and were harmonizing together since childhood and singing gospel in local churches unlike the three degrees that was a group put together by their manager at the time Richard Barret.
They could sing the phone book I love them please thumbs up I love this song I am going to dedicate this song to my friend there will be another dream for me and after all the loves of my life you will still be the one thank you so much for posting please take care of yourself love from Belfast 💓🍀
Mighty fiiiiiiine. Thank you for sharing. Never saw this one before. Saw the ones in gold dresses and mint green dresses. All superb performances 🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏

As a little black girl growing up in East London, I wanted to be one of them, anyone.
Quel trio ! Belle chanson 🎉❤

The fashion, the drama, the stage set up makes me think of my showchoir days
This new generation COULD NEVER!!!!!! Talented, gorgeous….
Stop saying this generation could never. Because with practice and hard work and training they could.

I agree. The real singers are gone, and those who get it get it. These women embody the definition of talent class elegance and pose.
En Vogue were pretty good in their day

They were on a episode of Sanford and Son.
Oh they BLENDING BLENDING !!!!!
When they ask you what superpower you'd select and you choose time travel to be a part of the audience
Donna Summers brought me here, and now I'm stuck 🥰😍. I have been watching videos of all of their live shows and content about them.
ME TOO!
Harmony plus three leads from the same group. Musical production and costuming from three fine women. No comparison.
This video certifies that the 3 Degrees are the ........ greatest female group ever...... enough said!!!
I agree 👍
The Jones Girls, The Emotions

It’s ashame it’s 2024 and I’m just learning who they are ❤
Don't feel bad. I learned about them in the 70's, from that "Sanford and Son" ep., and just now learning they are a real group.
They were famous in European countries,
Folks this three part harmony. No way to compare. No debate
The only group that makes me want to go back in time.
im taking notes. THE TALENT and artistry is unmatched.

I'm speechless, the harmonies, the grace...superlative!
Couldn’t count the # of times I’ve watched this over the years and still serious goose bumps. RIP Fayette; thanks for beautiful memories 🙏🏾
Im awestruck!!! they are absolutely amazing and angelical!
Wow! I was always a fan but never heard this. I grew up with their music back in the disco era. Simply beautiful harmony.
Angelic!.....awesome voices
This entire song was sung masterfully, but the last 60 secs of this video is simply magical!!! **chef’s kiss**
the purity of this is beyond this world.
Literal tearsssss! How have I never hear of these angels?

Damn!! Harmonizing is dead on! Class and talent these ladies had it!
Superb, the harmony, costumes & choreography!
Wow never heard of them but there so good elegant and doing one of my faves from Ms.Summer.👑
They actually recorded first .But
Donna Summer remaked the song but they're the originators.
Oh wow! 😮
What a superb performance..just perfect
My favorite female group..Their voices are just flawless..Style and graceful
Pitch perfect ❤
Absolutely outstanding.
This is stunning
What amazing video quality! Usually old videotapes from the 1970s look horrible! This beautifully captures an equally beautiful performance!
Amazing , my all time fav girls
Today's singers are cute, pretty, sexy gorgeous but are unpleasant to the ears. Yesteryears, the focus was on the audible not on the optics
The optics are pretty darn good here. Beautiful, classy ladies
They are my favorite along with the Supremes
Beautiful
@ 3:40 Makes me shed tears I finally understand.
any group that existed before 1985
Thank you for posting this. Beautiful! 💕
Perfect proformance back when proformers cared about what they looked like and what they did
Love this song, love The Three Degrees
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!
That was beautiful!❤ I wonder why I've never heard of them before.

They were definitely the first En Vogue , beautiful harmony and looks.
Wow this is really wonderful btw Jimmy Webb didn´t compose this song for three voices, brilliant arrangement
Their vibe reminds me of Chloe and Hailey
What a nice sing the three degrees
❤
Brilliant, what women.
MFSB and Three degrees are good sound
I was in Japan when they were popular, good ol’ days 😊🥰
They throw down
I've been lied to my whole life, I thought Donna Summers was the originator of this song.
Check out Glenn Campbell's version
Sweet
最後の曲は失恋の曲なのに、いちばん楽しそう

But Better.
@@aunteepsalmsfasting I legit came here to say that 😂
This is the original Destiny's Child. So much better than Destiny's Child.
Who did the make of this song... ughhhhi remember the remake more than the original....it was a disco version
Donna summer
DONNA summer!!!
シーラ確かに 声量あって上手いけど
フェイエットもっとボーカル
与えて欲しかった
If only they were given the Donna Summer version..
This is one's stunning too.
fayetteさんは、このヘア・スタイルのほうがよかったような気が……。三人ともチャーミングな女性です。🌺
She looked beautiful but us ✊🏾 we love her beautiful Afro as well !!!
Pinkney had a lovely voice, in fact a much superior range, but she didn't have quite as sexy a face as Ferguson.
Donna summer really gave life to this song. and that was shade.
