    I so enjoyed your video! I am new to this and have only dyed a few times. I am really enjoying knitting with mohair held together with my projects and thought I could dye mohair to compliment the yarn I have in my stash. I think getting the measurements and technique right can feel intimidating and then that squashes the creativity. You made this look so easy. I think I may try to dye a little today! Thank you for the inspiration! All your hard work and time you put in to make your colors has paid off! Your color palates are so beautiful!

      Thank you! Yes, keep trying when the mood strikes and eventually you find your method and what works the easiest for you. Focus on the process of it. Hopefully the videos help others not waste time and yarn trying to figure it all out haha. I have also been knitting two strands held together and love the Mohair so much with a 4ply Merino. Now I just have to learn how to knit the things I want to knit! Also intimidating!

      @muffsmerino  Год назад

      Yah I am not sure if others ran into this issue. I am always mixing dye colours and they all take up differently on different fibres. Especially if you have one yarn with two different fibres. The layering seems to be my best solution so far! Especially with delicate yarns you don't want to stir as often. :) I hope it helps you.

    • @muffsmerino
      @muffsmerino  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Sandra, yeah unfortunately Sunflower Yellow is now discontinued. I definitely need to catch up on making dye videos. Dharma recommends replacing Sunflower Yellow with Brilliant Yellow because the reformulated version was so similar. I have now tested both yellows in this collection and the colours come out exactly the correct hue, only a bit brighter, clear and more intense. I think doubling the brown or black in the recipe could help tone down the colour if that's the desired look :)
