- Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962, Victor Von Doom, the smartest of all Marvel Villains, debuted in Fantastic Four issue 5. He has been the archnemesis of the Fantastic Four and also opposed or battled Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, and even the Avengers. In the history of Marvel comics, Dr.Doom has been the evilest villain ever. He is a perfect combination of immense superhuman strength and superior intellect. He became the ruler of Latveria for which he has always managed to stay free of the judicial repercussions of his actions. He is so powerful that he had once managed to fight off cyclops bearing the phoenix force and Black Panther wearing the Infinity Gauntlet. His powers are equivalent to that of the sorcerer supreme. Despite being the most interesting villain from Marvel Comics, Dr.Doom is yet to receive a proper appearance in the movies. So, let us explore this interesting villain from the Marvel Universe without further delay.

Actually, in a modern story it was revealed that the explosion that scarred Doom's face was not because of his incorrect calculations. Ben Grimm admitted that he secretly tampered with the setting on Doom's machine to get back at Doom for being a jerk.
So Ben Grimm's childish sabotage led to the birth of Doctor Doom.
Myself, I prefer Doom's co-creator Jack Kirby's own take on Doom as a supreme example of ego and hubris and it being revealed that Doom's "disfigurement" was nothing more than a scratch on his chin but because of Doom's ego he perceived that it had ruined his face and appearance permanently which was why he kept his face permanently hidden behind a mask.
@@cha5 I always liked that take myself. I always thought that the extremely disfigured depiction takes away from the complexity of the character.
Doom, ideally, should be like Batman in this respect. The mask IS his real face.
@@joeyjojoshabadoo889 i like the one where he has his chin scratched and fucks uo his face by putting on the hot mask
@@cha5 I like to combine that one with Ben Grimm's tampering.
ruclips.net/video/dLBrhd1yqN4/видео.html it tells the story at 3:40 in this video
He deserves his own phase on the MCU
All hail doom.
Yes he Doe's
The first introduction of Doctor Doom should be through a movie introduction of the Triumph and Torment story line along with Doctor Strange and NOT the Fantastic 4. But knowing Marvel execs, they'll probably eff it up like they did The Eternals.
@@seanjones5682 let doom be the one to introduce F4
@@jamarbenyard9860 exactly! I've always thought that the F4 sucked as a comic book and doom was the only interesting thing about them. Doom should be the focus in the MCU instead of the F4. I just hope these idiots learned from the mistake of the Eternals.
Reportedly, Dr. Doom went on to inspire the creation of arguably the best film villain of all time in Darth Vader. Ironically, DOOM hasn’t been done justice in that medium.
We will get him I know we will this time MCU will do him justice
@@leondreamcast nah
@@jyetaylor6898 have you seen the concept art leak from Black Panther 2? Doom looks amazing he will be in the post credit scene
@@leondreamcast marvel will wreck him still, phase 4 has been terrible and a joke
@@jyetaylor6898 let’s agree to disagree
My favorite Marvel villain. I’m sure he’ll get a proper representation in the MCU but it really would require more than one film.
Or do a Disney plus series based on the Books of Doom
I wouldn't be sure hell get proper representation, the higher ups at disney don't always care about the source material or fans of the comics
The Hobbyist a Disney+ series based off Books of Doom is pretty much a necessity if you want to truly have him reach his fullest potential in the MCU. It adds to many layers to his character and helps you understand his motivations
@AngerFueld although this is definitely true in some cases, I’d say that Kevin Feige for the most part, has done a pretty good job. And I think he is well aware of how important both the F4 and Doom are to Marvel. So I feel as if he’s gonna do everything in his power to absolutely nail both, at least I really hope. When it’s all said and done, Doom should be considered one of the greatest movie villains of all time
@@AngerFueld as viewed in the abomination titled "The Eternals" 😂
I like that Doom has a piece of the true cross in his armor, so he can fight vampires. And today might be Doom's Day, but only if Doom has decreed it to be.
A Doom Biopic would be nuts. The cast would have to be perfect but the source material is all laid out.
Doctor Doom is awesome. He is also one of the few, if not the only human. Thanos keeps tabs on and respects their intelligence.
Dr. Doom should be considered the god of polymaths. He deserves his own movie or series.
Doom is such an iconic villain great to see you reviewing him.
Thanks for this one! And I agree- Dr. Doom is definitely the best and greatest Marvel Supervillain as well as of all comicdom.
Doc can be a hero/antihero or straight outright villain and remain a fascinating character. Its a rare thing when a story with Dr. Doom disappoints.
Some people don't realize how deep of a villain he actually is. A true evil Batman, a man who stops at nothing to achieve his goals.
I always love the Thanos Doctor Doom fight. Thanos basically said with infinite power it would be a matter of who had the greatest ego... Doctor Doom pulls Thanos spine out for the stomach. Later Thanos basically says well I really underestimated him
I love doctor doom my favorite moment was
When captain America stated that even without his power armor doom
Would still be a match for him
Or when he mastered the secret of vibranium which Tchalla failed to do
He cured Ben Grimm the thing
Or the actually joke he stole silver surfer cosmic powers twice 😂😂😂😂
Or the time he killed a lion with his bare hands and knocked out the spirit of vengeance with one hit
Any interesting enough he is a doctor he once separated the hulk and Bruce banner with an adamntium chainsaw
But got his butt kicked by Luke Cage for not paying him his $100 😆
Doctor Doomer.
Also, remember how IT was Thought Doctor Doom was responsible for Ultimatum until it was found out Susan's mom was responsible for that.
I checked the Wiki.
FYI Doom's face is not disfigured under his mask...the accident he was involved in only scratched his face a left a small scare but his ego is so large he can't deal with his face not being perfect.
Depends...Originally, it was a small scratch but when he placed the helmet on his face was totally burned. While it has been restored a couple of times, it's currently whole. But that may change ;-).
Doom is an amazing character the films have never properly portrayed. The MCU better nail this one.
The greatest Marvel villain ever!
Shuddup Victor
The john Byrne run of FF are my favorites, and the story set in ‘liddleville’ my favorite doom tale. Dark, scary, and well written.
Doom, the most interesting man in existence.
Don’t know why I never thought about this but Doom beats Batman
Latveria isn't "impoverished"; its occupants enjoy a high level of living and they are generally free from menial tasks by robots.
At the end….there is only DOOM
He's grown to be more powerful than the Fan 4 I think and beyond the earths or closest of all villains on earth as most powerful. An interesting approach to him would be to bring in as a Secret War already occurring in another part of the multiverse mainly Deadpool's which could also pull the Defenders & the Fan 4 Reed Richards now being the most intelligent man alive since Toney has died he in fact had a friendship & collegueship as competing companies that eventually moved to the mid west or something. Even more it would be cool to see Doom summin Anniuhlus to have been then thrown into another realm deep into another part of the Universe where he even had a intellectual powow with THANOS & continues to battle coming across Starlord & Rocket Racoon who has a genuine hatred for Doom in which he has knowledge of Doom starting the war with Insane Robotic clowns where Racoon lost his friend Walrus. Eventually he ends up in the Deadpool Multiverse & then the Avenger Multiverse by way of Fantastic 4 Referring to Secret Wars & The Beyonder eventually. IT BECOMES A AVENGER FILM AGAINST DOOM & THOSE FROM THE DARK UNIVERSE THAT DOOM HAS MUSTERED UP AGAINST EARTH MIGHTIEST HEROES. Eventually Doom ends up with his own deformed planet & gains a few followersamongst them inhuman helpers that broke away from Inhumans & work a deal with Doom. While all this happens a very large man, bald headed with hands like Frank Miller's Marv, but denser head, dense skin, and blows slight smoke, turns off his 3d screen, cut to the Beyonder signes a piece of paper that looks like a contract takes over the Cecil Hotel in L.A., Aniahulus continues his battles this time with the spirit of vengeance. Punisher & Moonknight each have a head phone listening in on the conversation that just ended with Roul Bushman military man just took over the poorest country in Africa.
Man just make him the MCU final boss please? I mean damn I thought I knew alot about Doom but never knew he could switch bodies with others...just by looking them in the eyes. Wow. It says alot about him as a character that he doesn't use that ability and still wins his his own way😆.
Dr Doom should also be the Avengers #1 nemesis as well. The #1 world threat in front of Magneto & the Red Skull

You pulled a lot of different Doom stories together but you missed one really important one....The Xbox game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1. I don't feel a Spoilers warning is necessary on a 20-year old game but here it is......
In the game, they tie so many plots together but the main focus is Doom; having learned that SHIELD had planned for all sorts of contingencies including "What do we do if Odin ever turned against our world?", decided to steal that plan. The plan, called 'Operation All-Father' utilized all known technical and magical lore on how to defeat Odin and steal his power. Once he had stolen the plan and duped all the villains he had co-opted into working for him, he enacted it and succeeded. It was then up to the team in the game to defeat the new God Doom and restore Odin to power as Doom's unfamiliarity with the All-Father's power was breaking down reality itself.
Dr Doom went to Hell, went up against Mephisto to rescue his mother's soul....that is beyond badass. Greatest Marvel villain of all time. Weirdest moment: Luke Cage going to Latvaria to get $200 he was owed from Doom!
"Where is my money, Honey?"
Amazing stuff
I agree completely how you describe Dr Doom ,, I've been a long time marvel fan and always kept up with doom comics
Spiderman: Well this is it. WE'RE DOOMED!!!
Spidey's spider symbol screams and jumps off his chest!!! 🕷🕸🤣🤣🤣
Doctor Doom could be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 5 's Main Villain with Nikolaj Coster Waldau as Doctor Doom
He seems like a downgrade from
thanos
I’ve Been A Huge Fan Of Dr Doom Since Watching The 2005 Fantastic Four Movie And I’ve Gotta Say Julian McMahon Was The Perfect Actor To Portray The Villain
Thanos: I have an army.
Stark: We have Doom
I agree Doom is the best villain in all of comics. Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, etc. Doom wins.
What about Magneto or Green Goblin
@@aroichlyons6450 yeah magneto is cool he's actually my second favorite villain of all time
Doctor Doom is my favorite Big bad villian in Marvel and Darkseid is my all time favorite villian
Very legit 👌 👏
Doc Doom is the uncle I wish that I had
This is Doctor Doom in my marvel universe series show. I would really want to know if I did him right by showing different aspects from the series.
- At one point the x-men discover how one new young mutant got transported in a Latverian helicopter and when The X-men confront him he explains how the kid’s power had no use in him and he had no interest in going so low to experiment on the kid like other countries.
- Another point he’s seen walking to the FN building as the Fantastic Four and avengers try to stop him before Reed realizes that Doom has EVERY right being there as he walks to the building UNFAZED of having to fight about 10 heroes.
- During Secret Invasion it’s revealed that a skrull had tried to replace doom but Victor managed to kill it as well as being the only human to know about the secret invasion but didn’t tell the heroes just to spite them and he was even responsible for the heroes winning secret invasion by SCARIG the skrull’s away and killing the skrull king.
- He loves Valeria Richards HIGHLY.
- He was ACTUALLY angry at Thanos wiping out half his people.
- He managed to kill the Eternals like Omni man killed the guardians and then announcing to the civilian-Eternals on how those Eternals could have jeopardized their safety.
- He doesn’t kill Thor and Jane Foster as he refuses to orphan Torunn.
- He manages to kill multiple power houses. During the 2099 spin off he’s seen using the main Deathlok to kill the guardians of the multiverse and uses the rest to kill all Kangs.
- he was completely unaffected by the “last days of magic” story.
It's "LORD VICTOR VONDOOM ".
Dr. Doom just needs to make an appointment at McNamara/Troy down in Miami. They'll fix his face
Dr.Doom!!! The name speaks for itself.
His MCU introduction should be a heart wrenching backstory down in a more serious way , kinda like Logan
Awesome
DOOM is my favorite you could of represented better like Doom the Usurper! Deserves but still a great vid.
My all time favorite villian I just want a proper representation in the movies. The guy that portrays Ramsey Bolton would be a perfect actor to portray such a an awesome villian.
Dr. Doom most powerful marvel villain 😃🔮
You should consider hiring someone to edit your scripts
👍
I'd like to Say Joker is the most successful one ever. There's only one thing he wants more than anything that's to make Batman laugh...he succeeded lol
one of my favorite doctor
Idk why everyone hates on the original Fantastic Four movies, I thought they were pretty solid. Definitely has room for improvement but overall I was satisfied with them
4:33 doom the original christian grey😂
Fact: Doctor Doom had a sexual encounter with Morgan le Fay.
My favorite Marvel villain.
Honed- meaning to sharpen. As in, "He honed his skills." Not horned. Otherwise, Great Report!!
The 2000s movies are underrated. I like them & Nolans Batman but bc they came out around the same time they were seen as “campy” like the Adam West Batman show
Dude ripped Thanos' spinal cord once
Oh gnarly
Greatest rapper ever
@4:09, is that Grandma Sue Storm?
:)
Doom is one of the few characters who can solo any verse with prep time he is in lol
My favorite human villain in Marvel comics!
The next huge villain for the MCU
Dictor von Doom / doomcock is the closest we have onscreen.
A tue Dr.Doom film is nessassery and not him as the villain in every new version of The Fantastic 4! The story of a boy who loses his mother to Mephisto "finally giving us Mafisto in a true version"
and sets out to save her soul and to bring her back to life and kill Mephisto but does so with zero regard for life other than his own and perhaps his mother's if he can return her to life. Doom makes deals with every other devil trying to overcome the deal his mother made with a devil and that's always been 1 of my favorite things about him.
You'd think one of the most intelligent people in the marvel universe could invent a way to fix his fucked up face, but no, he wears an iron mask.
He’s had chances to fix it but doesn’t want to
Who else had Dr Doom bedding in the 80s
I was wondering: Where was Dr. Doom when Thanos snapped his finger?
Pfffft, this is bullshit.....
He built a machine to absorb the energy of the snap, a fraction, to protect and empower himself. 3 snaps later, Doom is ready to make his mcu appearance
@@kurtwagner1915 But how did he know about the snap?
@@imrytebeehyneu Because he's Dr. Victor Von Doom.
MCU needs a movie about doom only
The turn them into a joke even worse than the 2005 version
Hey originally Franklin Richard's didn't create Counter Earth the High Evolutionary did.
You know what the most dangerous villains all have in common....they do not hide their names with secret identities, they do not need a costume to feel powerful or smart or dangerous, they already are.
Victor von doom
Ultron
Thanos
Zemo
Annihilus
Kang .
And yes doom and zemo wear masks, but it is because they are disfugured
redd extins over the moat via the window
I never liked Dr. Doom because I always considered him to be just classic Lex Luthor in body armor. Over time since I stopped reading comics in the early 90's, seems the modern writers have really pumped up his powers.
Dr. Doom and Mr. Sinister
When they use him they better do it right. I love he is able to help hero's when he feels generous. They never arrest him since he has Political power. He wouldn't ever try and destroy the world.
People really don't understand Doctor Doom. He is selfish but the reason why he does all of this. The reason why he tries to get ultimate power. Is that once a year he gets to battle mephisto and if he wins he saves his mom.
I give the tittle of best villain ever to magneto but I definitely say doc doom up there tho
With how the list kept going on and on. It started reminding me of the family of a real world leader. Who people both "love" and fear him. Has a long long list of supposed abilities and feats... the leader of N Korea. Only Doom is way cooler and can back up everything. Who thank god isn't real.
GOD DOOM!
Make for toyman
Master of the world “DOOM”
He’s a villain in the Now.
Jump him into the future, say, 2099?
He’s the hero. It is his unmovable Destiny to rule earth. Even the Wakandans Panther God knows this. And why is this?
Because it’s the only way Humanity survives.
This shit got fantastic 4 lookin like the one piece crew🤧
ALL HAIL DR DOOM!!
Doom is the King of all Marvel😍🤣
What about magneto and green goblin?
He is the best dr doom ever
Definitely overpowered for DCEU!
Oops! I meant MCU!!
Is Doctor Doom emotionally evil due to his heritage of birth and undying need for power and personality disorder brought to a head through a series of mistakes or caused by fate? His disfigurement isn't his weakness it is his strength it gave him a reality check he became Doctor Doom in the months of living in a monastery of monks who taught magic and possibly taught him to face the pain of his past. DR Doom was born after he left there to rejoin the world, but something also happened to his destiny was predicted by the monks one is his quest to be a good man in his own eyes it was the world around him who saw a different story of destruction and evil Doom himself didn't see it that way.
Villains and Heroes are a thin line between good and evil an anti-hero or conquer or master of destiny. Doom is in between these?
Secret wars doom is basically the story of a man that defeated the gods and became God
Just give us a good dr doom movie where he fights maphesto
Doom has rich history that MCU should explore..
Luke Evans would make an awesome Doom
How did Dr. Doom met Abomination & M.O.D.O.K?
Pt. 1
Oops! I meant MCU
The only way to introduce the fantastic four is to make a doom movie first
Too bad that the movies never do this character justice.
I find it insane that Dr Doom has had 2 movie appearances yet Latveria is nt mentioned in either🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽 yea just ignore the characters biggest motivation🙄
Trankilo hombe i cant understand
Doom got beat up by squirrel girl.
but In CANON squirrel girl has beaten Thanos, Ego, I think wolverine, and made Galactus leave once. So I don’t think that’s insulting to Doom lol
Squirrel girl is a token character who’s plot armor is thicker then Batman’s.
Luke Cage Hero for Hire did physically beat Dr. Doom over $ owed.
