Ran into a 2000 f150 with the same cable size but different cable ends! Not the hook style like you have there, just a nub end like where both rear cables meet. Tried to get the other style to work but it runs against the shoes.
Do you need this cable? My brakes are spongy on my 99 f150 and i noticed this was cut off
Is there a way to remove the clip holding the end of the cable without damaging 8t

Could this cause your check engine light to stay on if its broken or loose?
This does not apply to the 1999 F-150 XL 4.2L Ext Cab rear Drum Brakes. Looks like I have to the cursed brakes just to get to the cable. Drum brakes suck! Takes much more time. Thank You.
