New Wheel Bearing from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AAXX00122
This video shows you how to install a rear axle bearing on your 1997-2003 Ford F-150. If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. For solid rear axles, you'll need to replace the axle seal too.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    1997 Ford F-150
    1998 Ford F-150
    1999 Ford F-150
    2000 Ford F-150
    2001 Ford F-150
    2002 Ford F-150
    2003 Ford F-150

I use high temperature bearings grease, it should eventually dissolve. Hopefully no harm to it, never had problems before

Hmmmm.... What Size is the Bearing Removal tool you are using on the inside? Also I am wondering, do we no longer using Axle grease, or is it obsolete now days? Packing or greasing bearings is no longer necessary? I'm just a little confused. IS it only for Tapered Bearings or can it or should it be also be used on these type of bearing as well? Please clarify this for me. Thank you in advance !!!

This seems so easy to do but yet most mechanics will not even touch bearings that have to be pressed in.. it is very disappointing and makes me wish I had the tools to do this myself luckily I have one person that can get this done for me on my 03 Ford f150 but I am learning to fix my truck myself my 03 Ford F-150 is my bread and butter

Usually, you can rent the tools from Mahalo Zone ( checker auto parts or Auto Zone ) ;-) IF someone hasn't already rented it before you and stole it. lol

Why not grease the axle hub last as your putting it back together?

I understand this guy is smarter than me. but seeing anything being done to the hub centric part of that axel shaft made me do the rocks smolder

“A razor is best” then cuts to another scene where he’s clearly used a grinder to clean it.
