I like them all But my two favorites are the B52 and F15E Strike Eagle. The B52s were at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro North Carolina, south of where I live until they left in the mid 80s.The base have 4 squadrons of F15Es along with a USAF reserve squadron flying the new KC46 Pegasus aerial refueling tankers.Two of the F15E squadrons are training squadrons since the base is the primary training base for the F15E Strike Eagles aircrew
You need to look up the size of the round fired by the A-10 Thunderbolt and the size of its gun. Although you only see the barrel sticking out the front, the gun takes up the majority of the aircraft, and each round is the size of an old glass Coke bottle, made of depleted uranium.
The MAXIMUM speed of the A-10's gun is 4,200 x 30mm rounds per minute (but normally set to 3,900.) That indicates those rounds are not 'bullet' sized but rather more than an inch in diameter and substantially longer than a longneck beer bottle. The gun itself is larger than the original VW Beetle.

The F35B taxes it's engine too much if it takes off vertically or hovers and must land soon after, that's why it only does the vertical stuff at the end of a mission/flight.

It is for that reason why the forward gun is used in short bursts. I met the design engineer of the A10’s flight control stick. He told me that the A10 has redundant flight controls, that being a back up mechanical system in case the electronic digital controls become unusable.

A lot of countries "helped" with production and that is why their are numerous ones for other countries like Israel has it's own version. So computers actually control the stability of the aircraft, and pilot controls signal to the computers what the pilot wants to do, and the computers control all the control surfaces on the aircraft to make sure stability is maintained. Something the pilot could not do by his own. :)
12:45 american here. i had 2 of those A10 Warthogs fly above my house at only around 200 feet above it and the sound of those things is crazy. and the feeling.
C130s are also used for MEDIVACS. I HAD, IN 1981, MEDIVACED from FT Riley Army Hospital in Kansas to Fitz Simmons Army Hospital, close to Denver, Colorado.
I live near Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. I’ve been watching the C-130 Hercules fly in the sky since I was a little boy. I was even able to step inside of one at an air show!
There are recordings on RUclips showing Western army units in Afghanistan or other areas getting into serious trouble. Air support was often requested and came in the form of the A-10 Warthog. At the first burst of fire (you also know that characteristic "growling") the units knew that this aircraft Type was in use. All you have to do is look at the reactions of the ground units and you will know what reputation the aircraft and its pilots have. The pilots never have to pay anything for their drinks; others take care of that. That says everything about appreciation.
F-22: Super cruise.. the video says 'cruise at high speed'. What i means is fly at greater than super sonic speeds without the use of an afterburner. It flies faster than the speed of sound at NORMAL speed and then can go faster if it need to to really get up and move. And all while having a radar profile the size of a bumble bee.
If you think the C-130 is chunky, check out the C-5 Galaxy. If you removed the wings off the C-130, it could probably fit inside the C-5. My gf and I were standing in the cargo bay of a C-5 and she just looks up and down the cargo bay and said "how does this thing even fly?"

i grew up around fighter pilots. my dad flew F-111s in England in the 79th TAC. fighter pilots aren't like you see in the movies. they're family guys. they drive minivans and pickups. they aren't adrenaline junkies. the air force does its best to weed out people like that. but they do enjoy their jobs... a lot.

Funny story!! About the MOAB that was dropped in Afghanistan. My crew and I were the ones that loaded the C-130 that dropped in. Loaded from Bagram AB and dropped on the enemy with words of affirmation written all over the bomb! LOL
I don't know if you know it or not but the UK has F35 with the Royal navy and Air Force. All the problems that the f 35 had are all been taken care of.
