Nor trying to pull the disrespectful card dude your wife is so sexy and love her reactions reason why I sub to your channel enjoyed her reactions😂
2. National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985) ❤
3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) ❤
4. Vegas Vacation (1997) ❤
5. Hotel Hell Vacation (2010) ❤
6. Vacation (2015) ❤
You def need to check out National Lampoon’s European Vacation & Vegas Vacation which is also in this franchise😊
Plan to at some point!
I put it off for years thinking it would suck, but I liked '15 better than Vegas and maybe even European
Christie Brinkley (Red Ferrari Girl) was the "It" model of that early 80's period.
Yay, one of my all time favs. It's so funny to look back how family road trips were a common thing back in the day. No iPads or cell phones to keep you distracted.
40 years later and this film still cracks me up.
Your profile avatar is Kingly.
@@miked2445 Thank you!
41 years now
LOL the dog on the back geezus x,D haven't laughed that hard in ages so brutal ahaha
Should have watched this one before Christmas Vacation.
since you guys watched Christmas Vacation and now this Vacation movie
you should check out
European Vacation
Vegas Vacation
and remake of Vacation
For a different Chevy Chase movie, check out Fletch. It’s his Beverly Hills Cop and it’s hilarious.
The recent Vacation film isn't a remake, it's a requel. It's about a grown-up Rusty taking HIS family on a road trip to Wally World.
I put off watching it for years. After caving in, I loved it. Definitely funnier than Vegas
There is a movie with Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd where he works for the CIA. "Spies Like Us." Hilarious stuff.
Wally World is a stand-in for Disneyland which obviously they couldn't use that name
Road trips are fun.
Seeing your girlfriend laugh is awesome!! 😂
It’s ‘LAMPOON’S’ ,not ‘LAPOON’S’ . Good review.
I do remember cars with the gas tank up front but it was pretty rare.
Even though my wife and I love this movie there were a lotta problems while filming this including chevy chase being really hard to work with which first occurred back to the first season of snl
I mean in the end we can all agree none of the others even comes close to how sinisterly hilarious the movie was. The Lampoon short story that this is based on is even darker.
It takes about 2½ hours to drive to Chicago for me, and that's easily a day trip. What the fuck are you talking about, more than 3 hours is too long. 😂🤦♂️
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊
Rusty’s actor was 14 when he made this movie
You really think it would be more fun to have a theme park all to yourself?
The campground attendant is the same guy that plays Mr Shirley in Christmas vacation
Bill Murray's brother.
I drove all over the world in my 2-seater Dodge Viper RT/10... was great... put 200k miles on it driving all over the US, Europe, the Middle East, and bits of Asia and North Africa... spent years on the road at a time.
the vacation movies are hilarious man i already know you guys are gonna like em
Great reaction you two! 😊
So that that you're both watching this first movie in the "Vacation" movie series after watching "Christmas Vacation". Loved that reaction by the way.
I hope that you two will end up watching the remaining two movies. In order it's: this movie, "National Lampoons European Vacation", "Christmas Vacation"(which you've already watched), "Vegas Vacation", and then "Vacation".
The the cast for the most part stays the same in all of the movies. Except for the characters of the kids: Rusty and Audrey. They're recasted in each movie.
I grew up with this movie in the 80s. And has always been one of my favorite Chevy Chase movies.
Another fun Chevy Chase movie that you both might enjoy is the 1986 movie "Three Amigos".
"Do you know what the penalty for animal cruelty is in this state?"
"No, sir, I don't."
"Well... it's probably pretty stiff."
My dad and I watched this movie for the first time in years about five years ago, and we were both laughing hysterically at this scene. It wasn't so much laughing at the subject matter, but we were laughing that this movie had the absolute BALLS to go there. No one does DARK HUMOR like this anymore. Comedy and Horror isn't what it used to be, because Hollywood puts movies through a sanitizing "woke" committee these days.
Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Jane Krakowski and Christie Brinkley.
Stay In Character Fact: James Keach stated in interviews that during the "Dog Tied To The Bumper" scene, both he and Chevy were legitimately tearing up, and that Chevy Chase consistently biting his lips and his shortness of breath were genuine. They were trying so hard to contain themselves from laughing.
Bean Stalk Fact: In the Walley World scenes, Anthony Michael Hall is taller than Beverly D'Angelo. However in previous scenes with her, he was the same height as her. This was because Hall grew three inches after principal photography finished. The ending was re-shot four months afterward, because the original ending failed with test audiences.
Going The Distance Fact: In the DVD commentary, Harold Ramis mentions that for the scene in which the Family Truckster jumps into the air, several of the crew members had made bets against second unit director Dick Ziker that he couldn't jump the car more than fifty feet (even drawing lines in the sand to measure the distance). Ziker ended up winning that bet, as he jumped the car more than fifty feet. Chevy Chase's character Clark Griswold channels Dick Ziker's triumph in the movie.
Their house was actually in Pasadena, CA. About 45 min from Wallyworld (Magic Mountain)
The first 3 are great...
*National Lampoon's Vacation Christmas Vacation & European Vacation*
Agreed. The reboot beats Vegas IMO
plz do all the movies
If you look closely at chevy and the cop you can see they are trying not to laugh when they talk about the dog
So you wouldnt know but the hottie in the car is Christie Brinkley she was the one all the boys and men dreamed about at the time. So when she came out it in this it was a big thing probably one of the most talked about scenes at the time was the car and pool scene.
Shes in her 70s but is still hot somehow
Clark better beware of Billy Joel. 😄
@@0okamino they divorced decades ago. lol stuck in the 90’s?
Lol, talking like these are aliens who just arrived and discovered the internet.. smh!
I almost had to disown my mother when I saw this in the theater as a kid.
She was laughing so damn loud.
My family was on vacation the summer this movie came out and my parents thought it was a great idea to take us to see a movie about a family on vacation. I was 10 and my sisters were 7, 4 and 3. 😂😂😂
I'm the opposite. I was 6 when this came out and have 3 older sisters.
Definitely Check out National Lampoon's European Vacation 1985 and Vegas Vacation 1997
Fun Fact 1: Eugene Levy played the car dealer in the beginning
Fun Fact 2: The actor who played Rusty was also in The Breakfast Club movie.
This, EUROPEAN and CHRISTMAS are the only official ones.
The kid who play Rusty is Anthony Michael Hall, who was the Bully that fights Jeff in the S1 Community Christmas episode. He also starred in 16 candles and Breakfast Club, and Weird Science, and Edward Scissorhands.
All must see 80s movies
The Kids Rusty and Audrey are different in every movie
When I was a kid we have family in Florida and we drove from Philly to Port St Lucie and back several times. I also drove to Orlando and back when I was in college. That's about 1,000 miles.
If you like Chevy, I have a rare movie for you. Apparently it didn't do well at the box office but I really liked it. It had cool effects at the time. Anyway check out Memoirs of an invisible man.
One of my favorite comedies of all time!
Am I the only one who wants to eat at Rib Tips? Hell, I'll pay $10 to a dude in St. Louis for directions
Noti
You have to watch European Vacation and Vegas Vacation!!
Hope you two do the other two movies (European and Vegas)! Great reaction!
Yay I’m excited to watch this reaction ❤❤❤❤
I hope you guys watch European Vacation and Vegas Vacation! Both are great!
Classic..in the list of the greatest comedy movies
hope you plan on watching European vacation. its just as good as these two.
A little joke about the movies is that the kids always change.
16:34 Clark looked like he just got done trying to play a regular public match in COD.
"Roll Em Up!" still makes me laugh decades later
It's not a remake the new one is just years later and Rusty is the main character.
Funny Farm is another great/funny Chevy Chase movie 👍
You want Yellow Dog?
When I was a kid my parents took my little brother and me on several road trips. Even though there were times when all we wanted was to get out of the VW bus we were traveling in, it was really fun and the memories today, years later, are great. I remember one trip my mom bought a bag of candy at some stop in Nevada and a couple hours into the drive through the desert she gave each of us one piece and within minutes she wanted to throw us out. LOL!! All I remember is we were bouncing off the walls but at least we were laughing. Good times.
this is a classic
You'll have to check out Caddyshack at some point. It's from 1980, starring Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, and directed and written by the great Harold Ramis. One of the best comedies of all time, and probably my personal favorite!
And, of course, Brian Doyle Murray, just like this movie.
The worst .moments with family, ....can be the best..everyone has a Clark. ❤😂
This is the ultimate road trip from hell!
The reboot simply called “Vacation” is about Clark’s son Rusty taking his family on a road trip.
I think it’s more of a sequel than a reboot since it’s a continuation of the franchise.
European Vacation is the best one 💯
That’s an unpopular opinion.
Ya know i did not know Christmas vacation had a sequel i learned about it from another reactor 😅
Technically that’s the sequel to this 😂
@@ItsAPrimatee i just looked it up apparently it was centered around cousin eddie and it wasn’t well received by fans it has 2.7/10😰
Did you recognize the car salesman in the beginning? Jim’s Dad from American Pie lol
Eugene Levy. Johnny Rose, Schitts Creek
ItsAMonkey!
now you HAVE to react to Vegas Vacation, it may be my favorite. don't stop now
My least favorite, including 2015
1. FACT: They don't crush cars right away. They will resell them and/or sell the parts.
2. My favorite part is when they ALL fall asleep in the car while it's still rolling. 🤣
3. There's no way he would have gotten a parking place right in front of the "Long Branch" saloon.
4. "Bop your baloney"="Spank your monkey"🤣🤣
5. The guy at the campground is Brian Doyle-Murry (Bill Murry's Brother) and he played Clark's boss in "Christmas Vacation".
6. He's crazy. I'd take Beverly DeAngelo 😍😋over Christy Brinkley any day.
7. Who didn't love John Candy?
8. Mr. Walley/Eddie Bracken played the toy store owner in "Home Alone II".
The part where they're all sleeping always cracks me up because it's one of the biggest laughs any movie ever got out of my dad. I think he could relate. Lol
"Daddy says I'm best at it" was changed for televison. For TV she says "Yeah, but my Science Teacher says I'm the best at it" 🤣🤣
The Griswolds' Vacation movies are an guilty pleasure.
One of the most profitable comedy franchise ever, nearly $300 mil worldwide.
I mostly loved the first 2 films.
2 of the films, Vegas Vacation (1997) and Vacation (2015) were surprisingly successful when most critics were predicting failure.
Like this franchise was not as funny as it use to be.
Btw, a Griswolds' original series is being developed for the MAX streaming service.
Johnny Galecki, who played Rusty in Christmas Vacation and starred on 'The Big Bang Theory' series will be the executive producer.
If you ever feel the urge to react to more Star Wars while we wait for the next TV series to be released, check out what this group of fans did. They used Clone Wars style animation to recreate the Obi-Wan Vs Anakin duel on Mustfar. It's really good. The video is 15 minutes long and already has over 2.5 MILLION views.

There's European vacation and vages vacation you guys should watch
Everyone requests Christmas Vacation cause raised on it since little kids, but is a shame cause many reactors don't care to watch the rest after, especially the first two that were better than Christmas where you fall in love with Clark's sillyness & want to see them all. At the time they came out I gave original & European Vacation both 10 out of 10, but walked out of Christmas Vacation giving it maybe a 7! It only became a classic after it was played on cable every Christmas for decades & generations were raised on it. Whatever? Here we are. Just my opinion that doesn't matter!😅 Just irks tf out of me. And believe me, I'm very aware older generations said same about mine!😅
Rock On!
🤘🌎❤️
If you like Christopher Lloyd check out his character Jim from TV show Taxi especially Latkas Cookies, his drivers license test,
Love this movie. To me it's almost better than Christmas Vacation. I still find it funny even 40 years later how much they made Mr Wally look so much like Walt Disney
Ahh, the good times. Seen this film so many times it's ridiculous, yet it never disappoints. Next up is European Vacation. Can't wait to see what you think of it.
In case you all didn't know, the late Harold Ramis was the (uncredited) voice of Marty Moose.
This version of Audrey, turned out to be beautiful. She was later on 90210 for a bit. So pretty!
@12:00 1980s weed wouldn't stink it up, hell my friend had a sack in his shoe and police dog didnt smell it lol back in seed days early 2090s
Wait is the manager at the end the Duncan's toy chest owner from Home Alone?? I just noticed that damn..
Lol national lampoons snatched it's almost here!!!!!
Great reaction.....another old comedy to look out for is "Mr. MoM"
The new one is a reboot not a remake it follows his son rusty trying to take his family to Wally World
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fletch is another good Chevy Chase movie.
My man moved on quick. Respect
My man moved on quick. Respect
European Vacation is my fvorite in this series, but this is the first.
The Mom was a smoke show, I remember crushing on her as a lil boy
Great reaction
One of my all time favorites!!
*If people watch today's movies 50 years from now, they'd think that child abuse, racism, animal cruelty, and misogyny didn't exist in the late 2000s to early 2020s.* These older movies remind us of what We were like before this "enlightened" millennium.
The ultimate classic and road trip from hell 😂😂 Great reaction my guy ❤
Thanks brotha
@@ItsAPrimatee np
3 hours isn't even a road trip 😂
Chevy is pronounced like Chunky, not Shevy
I've never seen a car with the gas tank in the front either. My father had a car with the tank behind the back license plate, though. Confused quite a few gas station attendants, I can tell you! 😂
I still own a '72 Chevelle which has the fill spout behind the plate
We like to send out a mailer…
Vegas Vacation
Vegas Vacation
It a Classic Movie
Careful not to fall asleep hehe! Remember in Dumb and Dumber about Harry driving for nine straight hours & needing Lloyd to take over? Your girlfriend could probably take over if you get sleepy, heh. I wonder if Harry outlasted Clark with how long they lasted until they got too tired? & about my coment on your reaction video to The Terminator; when I said Konami saw that certain shot where Solid Snake got his image or something like that, I think I meant Hideo Kojima the creator of the Metal Gear series. 😀
Haven’t seen it yet!
Oh ok 😀@@ItsAPrimatee
Great movie
