I saw it in the cinema, I think it was one of the first comedy films of this genre that I watched on the big screen. I was walking in the mall and decided to watch the film and I've never laughed so much in my life, especially at the part about the swapped cat. I thought I wouldn't find it funny and I was surprised.

I hope you check out the Ben Stiller movie Heavyweights at some point. My favorite role of his in a really simple, easy to watch kids film about a summer camp for fat kids.

I actually seen Meet the Fockers at the theater before I ever seen Meet the Parents then I went out and bought the DVD as for Little Fockers not bad but a big letdown and frankly there was no need after Meet the Fockers ended its the kind movie that I call unnecessary sequel funny thing is when I first seen it I liked it but not as much as the first 2 then I bought the DVD and I'm like wow this is a lot worst than I thought again not bad but definitely a couple of steps down from the first 2 which didn't need to be made

Since you love Owen Wilson, I recommend checking him in out Wes Anderson's movies, like ROYAL TENENBAUMS and THE DARJEELING LIMITED. They're a little more somber than comedic.

What I dislike about this movie is how it tries to make it out like the dad is wrong for not trusting Greg. Pam didn’t help smooth off anything. If you really watch it the Dad isn’t trying to be jerk. He just has his issues with trust. It only goes downhill when he thinks Greg is lying and Greg’s lying throughout their interactions.
Should do Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights it is Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. It's an action comedy.
