The Beekeeper was a really fun movie. I was lucky to see an advance screening of the movie in IMAX. The theater gave away free popcorn and sodas. Before the movie started, director David Ayer showed up in person at the screening to welcome the audience.
I was surprised when I watched this at how accurate the scammers lines was. I watch a channel called scammer payback and they go after scammers and these guys in the movie sound just like them.
This was Statham’s best 🎥 since “Wrath of Man”. You can tell Ayer had fun making it. Really liked how colorful it was in some of the interior shots. It’s also one of the few times where Statham kinda gets his ass kicked a lil bit
Good movie. Creative villain ( first time seeing scammers be the villain of a movie)! If it was better advertised( should’ve been advertised more) , it would’ve done better like it deserves.
Scammers being the villain elicited such a visceral reaction from my family on our first watch. We knew we needed them to get completely decimated immediately.

This movie is so goofy, but loved every second. “He’s protecting the hive” and “I’m the beekeeper” will go down in history 😂. In all seriousness the action is freaking amazing and shines a light on scams and the vulnerable elderly population that doesn’t get shown a lot these days
Saw this in cinemas and had a really great time with it. Really really love the colour pallete of it similar to the colour of John Wick 4 and how striking it all looks

As somebody who works for a service that provides ID protection this movie was pretty realistic. she did low key exactly what we inform people not to do but sadly especially with the older crowd, people simply just don’t know because technically is literally all we use now so I think the movie did great in that aspect. Now onto the action Jason as usual delivered this might be up there with one of my favorite roles and movie of his. I watched this movie with my bf and we didn’t know his next move 😂 when he went up to the office with the gasoline, the way he just appears in rooms he definitely is getting creative with these films really enjoyed it.
