Filipina here, yes what you say is true it applies but not to all Filipina ladies. Just be aware of those dramas and cuteness they portray don't fall for it. Vet very well if you want a serious relationship. Be smart.
As soon as money is brought up, they get blocked. Don't even read or care about the story.
Very good advice. Unfortunately, most of the guys that need this advice don't want to hear it.
The cure against those playing the long gaming is understanding that there is NO SUCH THING AS A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. There's no relationship when one person does all the receiving while the other does all the giving.
Like you said, very common. Almost every single guy I know of that had anything to do with a filipina ended up regretting it. One guy I knew back in Malaysia had his filipina wife take every penny he had and took the kids back to the Philippines and sold them to an adoption agency.
One problem is that even when you meet a friendly Filipina, she often asks you for cash right away, even after 5 min, and sometimes a lot of cash. It's totally shameless and a big turn off.
They only care about your money. ALL OF THEM.
Frankly, any younger woman going with an older foreigner are all playing the long game. If all other things are equal, a young Filipina marries a young Filipino. That is natural...but things are not equal. So the young woman looks for money and support, and the old foreigner looks for sex and companionship. It is more of a business deal, not really based upon 'more equal environment or natural' love. And yes, many of these girls are pretty and smart enough to juggle many foreigners in an on-line LTR. It is their culture. They see themselves 1st as supporting the family. Look at the bright side, in Columbia, young women are slipping a sedative into your drink, or bring you to a 'trap house' where men pop out and hold you at gunpoint. In the Philippines, your heart and bank account breaks, in Columbia, your life breaks.
Im married to a Filipina for 22 years now. But before l met my wife, l wrote to 12 different ladies, sort of playing them at their own game. Then l found about 3 or 4 scammers, but the rest were honest girls looking for love. Then l narrowed the field down to two girls, then l went over there and eventually married.
Don't exchange phone numbers
There are many feel good vlogs out there about Filipinas. The word is getting out now, because too many men are getting burned.

Man you nailed it ❤. Every girl you talk to on dating app they come out straight and ask you for money for data. They mastered the scam game they become so good at it. Be straight up and tell them you are not an ATM 🏧. No bullshit. In America you would not do that, why give them money.
