You have to keep in mind what my childhood friend told me after having 3 Filipina marriages. Filipina culture is WAY different than the west. Lying for a Filipina is like drinking water. She is not going to feel any guilt about it like here in the west. It's part of her culture and baked into the cake. As long as you know that you won't be shocked when she lies to you. Now I'm sure there are some rare exception, but rule of thumb most will lie without any guilt or shame.

@@Kevin-G-7 Same way you do anywhere. LOOK AT IT. Maybe take a picture of it. If she's lying about her age, you can show that you did your Due Diligence in trying to make sure you are not interacting with a Minor.
DON'T take her word on it. You can get arrested and /or extorted for money with them threatening to Report you if you don't pay them.
Most can't afford marriage after getting pregnant. So living together is their defacto (asawa). But a CeNoMar is a good idea because they can't get diverced. For the same reason, marry in an embassy so you can divorce.

Hey Chad the first story almost exactly like me...she didnt tell me she had kids until i visited her for the first time. 2nd time i visited her she was pretty cold to me etc and i still continued to pay for her annuelment. That was foolish i know. Now she basically disappeared from social media and is never online.
I think I can beat these stories with my ex from the Philippines. I will not go into details here but it involves the birth of a child, a husband I did not know about, a gambling problem, failed investments and a fake suicide

@@KM21255 Not my suicide hers. I had been to see her twice and when I returned home the second time I found out she had borrowed lots of money and lost a lot in an investment or so she said. She moved from Mindanao, changed her facebook account and stopped communicating with her friends and relatives. It was her sister who I had met that messaged me one day to say she had taken her life.

They want exciting “pleasure” so that’s what they get….being cheated, lied, used and etc. Why don’t you look for matured respectable women, like Teachers, Nurses and those you can find in Churches. Getting a vasectomy was the best decision ever, and when you go to the Philippines, for God's sake, don't tell anybody. So when the time comes and your girl is pregnant. You can congratulate her and then inquire as to who the father is. Trust me, it's an exciting turn of events. She's lying one way or the other, but the point is your girl is a liar about a very important issue. This is an "I'm breaking up with you" type of lie. Once the trust is broken, it can't be repaired.
Great story about the woman living with her "brother." Dumb idea to confront her. Anyone (both husband and wife) who would go that far to scam someone is dangerous and best not to confront them, especially in a country where saving face is important.
Mine told me right off the bat that she has kids, and about her past relationships. Not all Filipina are dishonest. She was slow to tell me about all her past relationships, it took a while but she did tell me. She also has a clean CENOMAR and is able to marry. Pray, be aware, and don't think too much with the little head..

Met a nice Filipina online, talked for 8 months during pandemic before going to visit her. Spent lots of low pressure time with her and her family and kids. She never asked For anything but my time., we are both Christians . If you spend enough quality time together, you will know what is real! 3 times in 2 yrs before we got engaged!
This is kinda the situation with the Filipina I'm talking to right now, we met on Facebook and we video chat and message a lot. We haven't met yet, but no rush. She never asks me for anything but for me to be honest while we are distant. She goes to church and loves the Lord, the one thing we have in common. We have conversations about the Lord and pray we can be together and married one day.
1-2 months of honeymoon phase when the lady is a dream in bed and its all fun and play and THEN the realty and boring normal everyday life hits you and the woman is a totally different creature..

well a good childhood friend of mine has been married to 3 Filipina's over the span of 42 years. He lived in Davao for 15 years with wife # 3 until just recently. He has had some health problems and is now back in the states. We are both 68 and I mentioned to him a few years back I would like to move to the Phil's and maybe marry again for the second time. He explained the culture differences one of which was the fact Filipina don't really feel guilty about lying like we do in the west. That was just one of many revelations he told me.
Amazing how many times I have heard/seen this happen. Tell them upfront lies will not be tolerated or forgiven. Then when thier lies are exposed, they are surprised that they get dumped.
Hi Chad, I booked my flight to the Philippines and will land in Cebu April 20th. After listening to these horror stories, the American women aren't looking so bad after all. LOL I must admit, the story of the husband pretending to be the brother was frightening to say the least, they took the movie 50 Shades of Grey to a whole new level.

I think the thing to do if you are falling for a filipina is to ask her about getting the official document that indicates their marital status. I think it is called centomar or something like that. At least it will tell you if she is married or not. I was just educated that the name of the document is as follows. CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage record).
If the person you are falling for will not get this document then you pretty much know the actual situation as to their marriage status.

As I understand it, you can check on the marital status online now with basic info like her name and DOB.
A fake CENOMAR can be obtained easily in the Philippines. Yes, do ask for it. Take a picture of it and have it checked at the proper authorities. Another option is to hire a private investigator (if you want to take that route). Rule of thumb; if there are children hanging around, they might be hers. Learn the language.
I knew one, she told me up front she was married before. We looked into getting her single again. It proved REALLY hard.

Pilipino Pea did a good video of Lawyer and Laws, now they can sue foreigner for older parents retirement and for siblings schooling if married.
It has always been part of the unwritten agreement that the foreigner takes care of the family when married to a Filipina. Being in a relationship with a foreigner is often seen as the winning lottery ticket for the whole family. Many foreigners have neglected their "duty", so new laws were needed to give the Filipina a leg up in court. Foreigners who are not familiar with deep-rooted Filipino customs and traditions should be very careful about what they're walking into. The learning curve is steep and can be very expensive.

Chad, here's one more trick foreigners should know. It's not what it seems that there's a lot of single moms in Ph compared to other countries - an absolute myth. A lot are sort of 'married' to fellow Pinoys without proper paperwork. The main reason - it'd be much easier or requires less time, paperwork wise for them to migrate to USA, UK, Canada etc. for job opportunity. Bringing a family in those countries takes years even decades. So make sure she's absolutely single - check out the statistics in their town's municipal office - that's where they go to get their marriage licence - then the priests, mayor, lawyer, their friends etc will officiate to get their marriage certificate - something like that. Talk to the mayor, lawyer, family men etc. to learn more about this trick.

I have an opposite story. I came to the Philippines Last April to meet a Filipina (very poor) and she didn't include on her dating profile that she had kids. So when I got there, I could here them in the background of our phonecall, and she apologized and said to cancel the Western Union I'd sent to her a day earlier for the bus fare to big city I was staying in. Did I feel let down? yes, but I just kept on movin ahead while on her island and found the wife I'd wanted and married within 2 weeks. She is honorable too, no kids, no boyfriend, worked with her hands because so poor all her youth (they couldn't even get but One fish from the fishermen coming in at night growing up, they had no running water). Being traditional was a necessity.

I'm from UK. I've lived in the Philippines for over 32 years and have been married for 34 years to a Filipina. I personally have never met anyone who has been ripped off. I have 3 freinds who were ripped of by Thai girls big time. I have one close freind who married a Filipina who he met when she was a bar girl. They have a good marriage and 2 sons 12 and 16. I have 2 friends who were married in UK and were ripped off big time by British wives. Shit can happen anywhere. I have many foreign freinds who have been in great marriages for years in the Philippines. These blogs are so negative. I'm not saying they aren't true, but keep an open mind. Don't rush into anything. Ask questions, meet her family. Basicly do it the same way you would do it at home. It's no different. I've done more wrong things in my marriage in the past but we've worked it out. Ireally don't think it's any different than anywhere ese in the world.

Oof. Take it slow and trust your gut.
1: Meet people in your area. Don't touch them. Observe and get to know them. Spend $0 on them.
2: Do this for weeks before you start anything. Let everyone know you are talking to lots of people/women on a platonic basis.
3: Make it clear your money is yours and her money is hers. You are not there to support her entire family. You will share what you have with her but will not financially help her family at all. Make that crystal clear. That should get rid of 99% of your prospects!
4: Before sex you both get tested. Though it's far preferable to wait til marriage but even if you both of you still have to get tested. It's easy and just makes perfect sense since there is so much on the line.
5: Yes I'm a riot at parties.

Your videos are always informative and entertaining, however, the use of AI pics is ridiculous. I don't really want to click on one of your, OR anyones else's videos, and see an entire AI generated video. IMHO it cheapens your Brand while serving ZERO entertainment value. Like I said, I've always enjoyed your videos because of your personal touch. AI generated pics rob the viewer of emotion. It's like watching a flat, empty screen devoid of personality. Your Brand is your face and how that face interacts with the viewers. Emotion is what draws any viewer into a creator's videos. Imagine sitting in a theater and watching a 90 minute "movie" with nothing but AI generated pics... No emotion. No personality. No drama. Nothing but one dimensional "entertainment", which is no entertainment at all really. Recently Dumaguete vloggers have began using AI generated thumbnails and it cheapens their Brands, as well. When audiences watch AI generated videos they are being robbed of emotion, personality and the drama of the story. I've been a faithful subscriber and do enjoy all your content, so this is not personal, just an observation. Take care, brother.

I follow most Philippine vlogers; you're my fav. I've been visiting the P.I. since 1983...41 years. Guys like Paul in the Philippines and Mike's Phillipine retirement are too busy flattering themselves to see the truth...typical of old dogs. 65, 70 and older with these young Phillipines. These young girls are starving, literally, often having children to support. They build a relationship to survive...to eat...enjoy security. They concede by gifting these old dogs with a young, virile female companion. I suppose, over time, these women may even learn to love these old dogs but all things being equal, the relationship wouldn't exist. They, along with their nuclear families, matter more than any relationship. Your "walking ATM" analogy fits in these relationships. If the foreigner had the same social status, would these relationships exist? Never.
Westerners have no idea what lengths these starving girls will go to to survive. These stories show that desperation. This is the best post I've seen to illustrate how things truly are in the Philippines. Well done, young man!
The 1st story was rough but that's extremely common. Many women lie about whether they have kids or not. The 2nd and 3rd stories were really insane. I'm happy they both tested negative.

I just want to draw your attention to the fact that, while you may think you are delivering original content, these three guys probably talked to other vloggers as well, who beat you to it. That being said, they are interesting stories!
Sir, applying your logic would presuppose these incidents are unique to these three men and have never happened to anyone else ever in the world outside these three cases. I don’t believe anyone would think that.
