Nice review! Short and sweet with great production/editing. The objectively best piston Cessna for msfs would probably be the Cessna 310 I think, but I tend to fly my Carenado high-wing cessnas more anyway. They are much better for sightseeing (which is what I use GA for in the sim).
Great idea, short, right to the meat of things and accurate. Looking forward to watch the next 150 aircraft reviews 😅. My favorite Carenado are Cessna 337 and Beech 18S
I had the A2A 182 back in P3D, and I loved it. I completely flew it to death (literally). I never bought this one though, as I feel I'd just be disappointed. Great review though, and awesome visuals and cinematography.
Great review Murph!! I agree with your scoring, but only thing I'd add is Carenado releases just feel very "samey" across their whole product line to me - you could be in their Piper and it feels exactly like this. Just IMHO.
Thanks mate. Yep thats a very fair assessment. The 182 boasts some nice features and sounds - not to mention the visuals. But it is samey - especially to its PA28.
This is probably one of the best Carenado's out there. it behaved pretty well when Alyson flew it round the world including some flights that lasted 15 hours.
Would you happen to know if you can plan a flight with the GTN 750 via VFR and setup a visual approach to a specific runway and engage VNAV to line up with the runway in question? Thank you!
Yeah, I think that's a fair review. It's a plane that's fun to jump into and enjoy the GA experience. Is it my favourite Carenado plane? Maybe but I've always got the grá for the Mooney
Carenado aircraft are more or less photo realistic and wonderfully modelled, but, and in my opinion its a big but, as far as I am aware whatever you do engine wise you cannot break it, fly any Carenado on maximum power until the fuel runs out and the engine won't break, I'm not saying we should have all study level aircraft but you should be able to damage the engine at least if you abuse it enough.
I think for the price the carenado planes are very good. I have the 182 and the 207 and indeed they feel very similar. I think it would be great if they added the tablet to manage some additional eye candy.
At presents I have no Carenado aicrafts but I would like to buy the C182T. Will you do a rewiew in the future? I think Carenado aircrafts are honest product, I am a RL pilot and I don't believe too much about "Study level" aircrafts in a Sim. A real one is something too different, and in sim much depend also on what joystick, throttle and pedals you are using. There is so much difference between a Honeycomb and others ones ...
Indeed. Like the 182 is a fairly safe bet - not being one of the more complex aircraft. But what they did here they did well. Certainly one of the better aircraft from Carenados fleet
Great review, you’ve really got your channel dialled in. Nice and succinct, great cinematography! I’m a Carenado fan 👍🏻
Thanks so much mate. I’ve been loving your content too and have learned so much
Very nicely done and I believe that score is very fair. Looking forward to more of these rating videos!
Thank you so much
Really nice review! Nice editing, music and aircraft camera angles, specially those are not the default ones. I like this format a lot, keep it up!
Thank you so much
I love my 182RG II. It feels like a nice balance of simplicity and equipment. Fun to fly.
Always fun to take the 182 out for a spin!
Well done lads. Excellent content, editing and graphics. Very much looking forward to more!
Thanks mate
My favorite Carenado aircraft followed by the 337 and Mooney. Great video and I'm really excited about this new review series. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it! yes the 337 and Mooney are also really nice

Well said! The 310R review is coming soon

Thanks mate. Oh the 337! Thats pretty - I may add that to the list

Thanks mate. Ah the A2A 182 was brilliant. And the 172 for that matter. We could do with them in MSFS

Yes this is one of my favourites from Carenado along with the 207.
Yeah the 207 is really nice and it’s price is brilliant
This is one enjoyable add-on aircraft. It would be great to see a turbo variant of the 182 RG.
Yes that would be brilliant! Perhaps a mod will appear?
Carenado creates some of the most stunning visuals, probably the best. But it stops there =). Is this any different? Thanks for the fabulous review.
I can say this one definitely feels different from their standard offerings.
Thanks so much mate. I gotta say - you have been a massive inspiration to me for creating flight sim content. Thank you for everything you do!
Nicely done, Murph! I like this format! Looking forward to more reviews! Cheers, Splasher_6
Thanks so much mate. Lots more on the way
Channel looks really really good! Love the camera work! What camera are you using? Brilliant! : )
Thank you so much mate! Tis a Sony ZV-E10
Born and raised in Nelson/Motueka, naturally its my favorite place to fly.
This is probably one of the best Carenado's out there. it behaved pretty well when Alyson flew it round the world including some flights that lasted 15 hours.
Agreed mate. It’s very good
Great review. Looking forward to more, thanks!
Thanks so much mate
Great stuff Murph agree with the ratings, got this one for the steam gauges.
Thanks mate, yeah you gotta love steam gauges for sure!

100% - The Mooney will always be special - it would be great if they brought it up to the 182 standards
Good job on the review. Murph, you need to put the wig on and start headbanging for the music at the end.
😂 thanks mate

Thanks for the comment mate. Yep it would be cool to see some Nav of maps on there

Have you tried A2A Comanche?
I love this little plane. Hasn't killed me yet
I think Carenado has decided to cater from new flight simmer to casual who wants simple but mire detailed then stock

Waiting for the sale on this one…
