Isn't this old?
No. This is just a projection of your subconscious desires. You wished you had produced a video this good, so you are inducing yourselves and others to believe you, indeed, already have.
Didn't you already post this?
Is this a re-upload because you had to fix a picture and you're sorry for the inconvenience?
Grape flavour is amazing
There's a glitch in the Matrix!
Where is Roger? Took his vacation? Fired? Missing you already. 😭
Bring back the ROGER! /‘:
lol i was just thinking of that
E Reg he died you insensitive prick
Roger died??? Show me proof! This new style without him makes this into another "top ten list" video which I will watch, but not enjoy as much.
This video is from 2014
The more recent ones feature Roger
Honestly I've always been against orange juice. It has never tasted like oranges to me
if you live in Texas you can get actually fresh squeezed oj from H-E-B that just tastes like biting into an orange
I've never had a problem with it until I was given free Florida oranges. I squeezed them myself and it was sweeter and more flavorful. Now I can't drink bottled orange juice anymore
Well it looks like there was a reason why it doesn't taste like oranges.
The majority of my working life has been is in the citrus industry.
Part of the reason orange juice tastes different in the carton is because it is blended with many types of oranges and/or mixed with same variety grown in a different region.
It gets blended so when you pick up your brand of choice it will generally taste the same all year.

the awkward moment when you're Mediterranean and you don't know what you eat
McDonald's
Mediterranean is not a food. It's a drink. Very salty.
No worries, most chemicals used in the US food industry, are illegal in Europe.
Same lol Where are you from?
@@someguy2135 Mediterranean is the name of the diet we have in some parts of Europe, not a drink.
I wonder how many people will ask "Didn't you already post this?" after stating many times that "Yes, this is a re-upload. We had to fix a picture. Sorry for any inconvenience."
Yes, I did think that, and I also thought; "Fuck it, I'll watch it anyway."
So I did...
I can bet about 3.5/4 of the comments will be about the re-upload
Its always fun bitching about these problems, but who can tell where the fuck do I get food that isn't fucked in the ass by government scientists?
Didn't you already post this?
So...which picture did you have to fix?
Yes, this is a re-upload. We had to fix a picture. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Still funny :D going to SPACE
Ah, makes sense I suppose, boogie.
Maybe it's not a re-upload, but you're increasing the amount of subliminal messaging your fans received until we become a devoted army.

If hazelnuts are so cheap then why can’t I find them easily for a decent price?
fr
Maybe they are taking them all, or more likely they are hoarding them to artificially jack up the price, like diamonds or houses or cars or really much of anything.
Could have something to do with corporate gigantism and "trade agreements" but what do I know!
guy just said in the video that its cardboard chips and flakes.
It's scary how unregulated US food and every other industry is. Terrifying.
That's the american dream. Selling poison and scamming money out of people claiming to be an honourable being.
The moment when you’re Italian and you don’t have to care since your food laws are extremely strict and so your stuff isn’t full of shit.
I don't get it almost everything this guy mentioned is allowed in almost every other first world country in fact many of those countries buy a ton of food from America
@@np_0603 Is it sarcasm? I hope it is 😂😂😂 Remember the carcinogenic buffalo cheese?
Raimon Estañol the problem is, some people try not following them, fuck up, get caught, and shit happens (mostly at discounts)
This is why the EU shouldn't pass the The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership into law.. Us Europeans have enough crap in our food already, without American corporations making it ten times worse.
Adam Smith Thanks for saying "American Corporations" and not American people. We the people have actually been trying for quite some time to get our standards moderated, but for a "democracy" our voices aren't that well heard.

i've literally never heard anyone say grape is the worst until this video
+OAKED MUSIC Yeah, banana and lime are the worst. Those flavors are for freaks.
Lil Oak I read not too long ago that grape seeds are good against canser.
It's only the worst if it's medicine. For some reason they haven't figured out how to make medicine taste like GOOD artificial grape flavor. Had caugh syrup tasted like fanta or Jolly Ranchers, I would have been sick WAY LESS as a child.
I know zero people who throw out grapes. But the rest of the video seemed legit.

Ha, I live I. Maryland, my crab meat is fresh, and has been feeding in trash water for its whole life! Wait... Shit...
You know what the "mustard" is...

Cellulose is unrefined newspaper?...yeah, technically. But all cellulose is, is the walls of plant matter. It's not harmful, it's just indigestible
it snot about what it actually is, it is about whre it is coming from and where have it been and what has added to it,
e-g, the OJ is still OJ (old and shitty) but some cancerogen is added to it to trick our brain to like it.
Maybe to trick your brain. I always hated store bought OJ.
+Syed Rashid Mehmood It's also because in order to preserve it, they have to take out pretty much everything that gives it flavor.
Daniel H ie. not food.
to the extent a popcorn kernel isnt food.Damothedevo
5:03 Fun fact, cellulose is a key part to the plant cell, it's what helps keep the plant from just flopping over. Since a plant doesn't have a skeleton it needs what's called a 'cell wall' in addition to the 'cell membrane', but an animals cell only needs the 'cell membrane'. You have probably already guessed that the cell wall does in fact contain cellulose, other wise I wouldn't have even brought it up. The cell wall is a very rigid part of the cell that encases the whole cell. In fact this wall is so tough that when the cell divides (all cells divide for growth, healing, etc.) the cell doesn't actually divide it just forms another part of the wall right down the middle. Before you ask yes every plant has this wall, and yes all of their walls have cellulose.
+Mrs Marles but it doesn't sound as dangerous and scary when you explain it like that!
What's with all the jokes about grape being a terrible flavor of candy suddenly popping up everywhere this year? Grape was always one of my favorites as a kid and I never remember anyone complaining about grape candy before. Also, first candy to get thrown out is either Tootsie rolls (or Necco wafers if you have truly despicable neighbors).
Nutella is the only food the Internet overrates more than bacon, cake, and pie (those three being good in their own rights but not nearly as good as their meme statuses suggest). The Nutella is a lie - it doesn't even taste like hazelnut, it tastes like a mediocre chocolate cake frosting (though I must admit chocolate cake frosting is not a bad thing to try to taste like).
Cellulose is part of most edible plants with fiber too, by the way. You get lots of cellulose from eating a salad.
1st -- anyone who throw away food needs to be kicked in the face. 2nd -- yeah you eat cellulose when you eat a salad, but at the same time you know that this cellulose is part of the plant, not old fuckin newspapers..
Personally I never threw away candy from Halloween or anything. If I didn't like it I'd trade it to other kids; sometimes a huge bulk of Smarties or Tootsie Rolls would be accepted in exchange for something I actually liked.
Did you know chocolate frosting has less calories and fat than Nutella?
Everyone's already called you out over the cellulose thing, so I'm gonna focus on the meat glue thing. It's an urban legend. Hard stop. What's holding the pieces of meat together in a steak or chicken breast is fat, that came from the same animal. While meat glue does exist, it has a gritty texture and appearance. If the butcher at your local store used it in the meat you purchased, YOU'D KNOW IT. C'mon, Cracked, you're better than this.
Glad I live in England, where I can buy meat from a butcher, and watch him cut the meat I want to buy, and go to a greengrocer and buy fruit and vegetables grown on a local farm that haven't been soaked in chemicals. I can get fresh squeezed orange juice that has actually been fresh squeezed. Why the hate for Hazel nuts (Corylus avellana)? They taste great, and they're good for you. Weight for weight, they contain about fifty percent more protein, seven times more fat, and five times more carbohydrate than hen's eggs. Love the nut, in moderation, and not slathered in muck like chocolate.
Everything is chemical. ....duh
brianartillery greetings from Malaysia
just because you left the EU, it doesn't mean you're not going to keep the regulations you like. :D
brianartillery A good butcher is one of the most underated professions here in the US. People acrually think that meat doesn't taste better from butcher...then you give them a steak or some bacon fresh from the butcher and a solo teat drips down their face as the realize they are living a lie.
But you are a fat fuck
Every plant on earth--including most of the fruits and vegetables we eat-- is composed primarily of two substances: cellulose and water. Wood and paper have cellulose because they're made out of plant fibers, but they are not the source of food-grade cellulose. You, good sirs, are misinformed.
This certainly explains why I've always hated orange juice but like actual, physical oranges.
oldman wilikers But at least the oranges aren't a year-old, spoiled, and made to look and taste fresh.
I want to know why they thought it was a good idea to keep Orange juice locked up for a year before selling it.
+Patrick Alexander Because YOU and most other consumers can't afford it otherwise. You could easily go buy a juice machine and buy fresh oranges and make your own OJ fresh squeezed right in your home. Guarantee if you tall up the costs you'll go back to this cheaper stuff real fast!
And as others have pointed out... it ends up being almost exactly the same. Keeping it locked up for a year doesn't hurt it at all. They have to add back in what they took out (oxygen and the flavor which is removed to keep it from going bad).
Christopher Gordy My comment is from months ago, and within those months, I thought more of it. My opinion on this has changed a long time ago when I realized there isn't really any substantial or toxic damage done to said orange juice.
I'm lucky I live by Mexico. I can get fresh orange juice squeezed in front of me for 20 pesos (a dollar) a liter. Watch them make tortillas in front of me etc it's awesome. I haven't bought pre packaged in ages
Bagabones Felis ok but about the bacteria thing cleaners don’t know the difference between good and bad bacteria’s it just kills them all
I'm part Greek-italian so olive oil and wine kind of flow in my veins. 🍇🍇🍷🍷🍷
Rem Henshaw I just watched a video detailing how 80% of olive oil made in Italy is actually fake
What do you mean Like they mix it with soy or canola or something??
You know what else has cellulose? Every fruit and vegetable ever.
Thank you! I thought I was the only sane person here. You've restored my faith in humanity a little.
yeah.. that's not the point. They put wood pulp in food. Not toxic or anything, but still a what the fuck kind of fact. Can't we just get real food instead of being sold garbage?
cellulose is cellulose
Yes, but a little cellulose that's a result of adding fruit and veg which bring flavour, sugars, vitamins, water, etc to your dish - good. Adding bulk to a product by adding newspaper pulp with no dietary benefit, just cellulose binding and bulking so you get a big product with less digestible food? Not great.
R 85
eating a lot of vegetables gives you a lot of cellulose and it's exactly the same as cellulose from paper. and it's always indigestible. and fiber has a well known benefit of aiding digestion. if anything they should add cellulose to more food
Whelp; you have officially convinced me to put more effort into gardening and hunting...and also to squeeze my own O.J.
Awesome! Also, I highly suggest not hunting. Meat is murder and all that. But nevertheless, good idea! ^-^
Heather Mason :D
UltraJordanGaming I rather kill some meat than not eat meat. ;-)
Besides that, not hunting would be than like eating the corpses out of concentration camps that even spread diseases all over the world *g*
Makes hunting look good again, right? :D
Just as expected, the comments are full of Euros who think that all American food is like this. I went down to my local butchery earlier and picked up some nice cuts of beef, and some lamb. The pre-wrapped lamb was still bleeding a little, freaked my grandmother out. The guy went out back and hacked the beef cuts off of the frozen strung up corpse, wrapped it, and weighed it. I got some organic orange juice and had a decent meal. Getting real, unprocessed food in the US isn't fucking hard, just don't buy the suspiciously cheap garbage or fast food and you'll be fucking fine.
.
For meat, you can usually trust butcher shops. Their reputation depends on their quality, so they try to ensure that the meat they get is as high a quality as they can possibly get.
Yup, going organic is definitely the best option for one's health. No GMOs to poison the body that way...
Heather Mason Bottom line, the Earth is fucked. That's what you were going for, right?
Heather Mason Yes, governments indeed are a bloody miserable joke... That's one of the many reasons why I'm a communist. I guess you were expecting to hear "anarchist", but Marx's envisioned utopia, one without government, class or capital, has better definition than the end result of anarchy, I believe.
*Dj Khaled voice* they don't want us to eat fresh
😂😂😂
Who are you and what did you do to Roger Horton
So commercial orange juice is tasteless, and chemicals in the juice make it taste good. That's literally what fresh squeezed is, the difference is that in one case, the chemical is naturally occurring, and in the other, it's made synthetically.
You're using chemical as a buzz word, but chemicals aren't inherently bad. Water is a chemical. All that really matters is that it tastes good, and has the nutritional value that's written on the packaging.
EDIT: Apparently, "fresh" means that it isn't from concentrate. They aren't really lying, it's just that "fresh" is a very subjective term. What you should learn from this, is that you shouldn't let people sell you products by blurting out buzz words like "fresh" and "natural".
I think the bad part is the fact they keep the "freshly squeezed" orange juice in tanks for a year...
I think you misunderstand the point, its not that the chemicals are the problem, its the fact that the lack of nutrition inherent in the juice is no longer present, and the way you would be able to recognize that its no longer fresh or proper for consumption is the natural chemical process. However, the issue is that when you interfere that signal artificially you're not going to recognize that the food has lost its value. I'm pretty sure you misinterpreted this video.
The whole point of this video is that food is being over complicated through misdirection.Things like the nutrition information is essentially a bunch of general guidelines that if the food wasn't being faked you wouldn't use numbers to figure out. You would be in tune with your body and your diet. Food is a beautiful and simple thing not this monstrosity of a commodity it has become to obscure the pure simple magic of the natural chemical world.
1Rekuiem the nutrition information is right on the package. If you think it's lying, you could easily prove it and file a lawsuit.
Even with a diet that's based on the industrialization of the food industry, you can easily get all your essential vitamins and minerals easily. I do it in two large meals per day.
On the subject of complicated vs. simple, I'm going to need you to define those terms, because something seemingly simple as a piece of natural fruit is more complex than you might realize. The biological processes that produce those chemicals that tell your taste buds "this is good" are not the least bit simple.
Jester Azazel It appears that somebody told you the Internet is just a big argument and your job is to win it. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but you've been terribly misinformed.
protip: only drink water and if you need liquid flavour then eat fruit
another protip: for people saying it's impossible to vote with your wallet, no it's not, just support your local butcher/greengrocer which provides everything you need and stop shopping at supermarkets
have you personally investigated supply lines and proven beyond a doubt that there's actually a difference (other than packaging) between the "local" butcher's meat and that of the supermarket? unless the butcher has a farm in his back yard, I think you'll find the quality of the meat is about the same (supporting a local business like the butcher makes good sense economically, so you can pat yourself on the back for that, just don't trick yourself into thinking it's a healthier choice)
My family used to buy a cow directly from a farm so we could have a chest freezer full of 100% unmolseted cow parts for 1-2 years of healthy eating.
I'm pointing out that, nutritionally speaking, there's almost no difference between "organic" and conventional crops, or between local and non-local foods, and I'm making the point that making such choices is politics and emotion, not science. I'm not sure what the point of your challenge is, are you indicating that because I'm discussing the nonsense in food marketing, I'm somehow obligated to give you nutritional guidance? you're demanding I suggest "a healthier choice", to which I ask "healthier than what?" I don't know what you eat, so I don't know what needs improvement. if you just mean in general, then that's part of the whole problem. the marketing people behind the organic bullshit require that you always suspect that a normal person's average diet is horribly unhealthy and that "a healthier choice" is needed... which they will gladly sell you.
Arturo Proximo True points. The big issue is not supermarket ingredients vs organic ingredients. The really big offenders are processed food products.
Fresh products in your super market are mostly just as healthy as organic products, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more, depending on the details. I still prefer for example organic eggs, but that seems to be because the ones available locally here are simply getting better food, they taste nearly as good as the ones my grandma used to have from her own chicken and they are literally the same in taste as the organic ones I get from an auntie. But it not like I do that for my health. *g*

Cellulose does not equal news paper. News paper has ink in it. Cellulose is just what cell walls are made of.
Ionlymadethistoleavecoments He meant Cellulose gum is what they use in the meat 🥩 industry. Not just cellulose, but he should have corrected himself. However, he wasn’t fabricating the information because it is what’s used to hold it together in the market unless you are having it butchered a la carte.
he specifically said 'unrefined newspaper' and yes you can get cellulose from basically every plant out there but if your a huge company that needs shit loads if cellulose a Tree is an obvios choice.

Yes, Cellulose.
That stuff that only comes from newspaper, and absolutely no other plant that we know for being high in fibre content. Even though that's exactly what "fibre" is.
Absolute best video on the internet about food truth in the USA .
Short enough to not lose your attention., detailed enough to get upset about what's going on in the industry, and presented by a guy who's cute enough, and funny enough, to have you look for any and all other cracked videos that he's in.
It is most certainly not just the USA most countries food is processed in very similar if not identical manners.
I am from Germany. Germany is not in close Distance to the Mediterranean but it allows a normal guy (more or less) to personally visit the Mediterranean a few times and I can tell you exactly, what kind of Food they eat. Fresh Vegetables, fresh fruit, fresh fish and short grilled meat without any heavy sauce. Surprisingly only few Potatoes more Pasta. BUT they mostly cook at home and don’t buy a package with „Taste just like in the Mediterranean“ printed on it. Freshness and untreated Food is key like in any good kitchen!
Where's "Roger by the way"??
This video is so fresh, oh my god so fresh.
Funny thing is. Only Americans get farmed salmon. It's illegal everywhere else.
*****
Right then...
True, here in South America our salmon comes from the actual sea lol, btw we are the ones that actually produce the orange and all other tropical fruits so the only ones that drink real fresh orange juice is us.
Karla Diaz
"True, here in South America our salmon comes from the actual sea lol"
That's not evidence toward any greater standards of salmon fishing and production in South America- some species of 'salmon' can only survive in saltwater, and there is no incentive to create artificial environments for them on the mainland.
With various freshwater fish, it is found to be much more viable since a)One can more easily control for its breeding and lifespan and b) many obstructions exist in US waterways that do not allow salmon to mate as they once did.

Well, it's what I read. Of course. I do believe that it's illegal where I live (Australia) but I guess that you learn something new xD

how is grape the worst flavor? it's obviously banana
No way
But grape is in every pack, banana is a lot more rare (for that reason, I'm guessing)
worst _faked_ flavors are watermelon and strawberry (might be others, those are mine)

+Lil Oak That is a Fact! Banana is absolutely the worst fake flavor.

Mediterranean diet = work in a farm 10h all your life, eat almost only vegetables, don't eat meat, don't eat crap. My grandpa was 99 when he died. True story.
The orange juice is definitely true, fresh squeezed oranges a while ago and it tasted vastly different
just found this channel and it's hilarious!! loved this video!
Im interested in your sources, I would like to learn more about the cardboard food... Thanks
The whole notion of any generic "Mediterranean diet" was actually completely made up by American cookbooks in the 1970's just so publishing companies to boost up sales in leisure reading.
There is no such thing as any monolithic "Mediterranean food", as Moroccan food is totally different from Italian food, which is totally different from Greek food, which is yet again different from Turkish food.
They share a spice pallet, that spice pallet is what constitutes that classification. Classifications are designed to be encompassing which in turn, over time, become generalized. They aren't _totally_ different from each other and share inspiration.
Le Huy-Anh they do share many common points but yeh pretty different. the most common would be goat/lamb meat skewers and humous and possibly shawarma, the latter being less common some places
Le Huy-Anh Greek, Turkish, Syrian and Lebanese food are all pretty similar...
I think i can address The confusion. The term "Mediterranean Diet" in the nutrition world doesn't refer to the actual cuisine of Mediterranean countries. It is a specific combination of foods inspired by the traditional diet in that area, targetted at reducing incidences of heart disease in the West. Most people in the Mediterranean region are not actually eating in full accordance with the Mediterranean diet.
Not totally...greek and turkish ppl i know fight over who did some good first or best lol
Glad you reposted. Funny funny funny, thanks chaps!
beyond hilarious, awesome video guys!
I don't know where this "grape is the worst flavor" thing came from. Everyone I've encountered has always agreed orange is the worst flavor. Grape, cherry and watermelon are always the most popular candies, icies, etc.
Orange is a flavor?
Never eaten an orange?
Isn't cellulose just fiber? Which would mean it is not without benefits.
Lebanon ( Mediterranean country)we eat plenty of ground meat, maranda ( tiny sweet oranges), kibbeh, ground chickpeas (hommus), pomegranate, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, olive oil, thyme, cauliflower, eggplants, chickens, tumeric, bananas, spinach, non-sweet dough (عجين), lettuce, grapes (fresh), cheese, onions, grape vine leaves ( I do know for sure how you say this in English), and cabbage, and fish straight from the sea. We usually never eat sweets, drink sodas or juice, no alcoholic drinks specially, and any pastries are for special-events.
Ty for clearing that up, but I don't think the point was to ever actually find out what a Mediterranean diet actually is, because it's not that important. But; ¿thank you? I guess...
According to Wikipedia , cellulose is an organic compound usually found in wood pulp. It is usually used to make paper and paperboard. One of the materials similar to it is starch, which is edible. Cellulose may help in defecation. It is a permitted food additive. It is not too hazardous

Great job. Loved it. Inspected a number of food plants and confirm this video
I worked at a common chain grocery store. The salmon is NOT grey or gross when it comes in. It was pink and fleshy as anything u c on the shelf. The coloring is given to the fish to eat b4 they r butchered. Not painted on.

Meat glue is real, but it’s really only used for chicken nuggets, mince, fish fingers, etc. The only reason a steak like the one pictured would have meat glue is because the butcher accidentally cut off too much or too little. You can also see the the gritty, sugar like texture between the bonded meats. If you can’t see the gritty glue, then just look at the packet. It is illegal to not label reformed meat as reformed.
The more I watched Cracked the more I worry about my food.
Wow I am happy I am not from countries trying to kill me.
Sade Beckford what country are you from?
@@Brooklyn-gi8un I am from Jamaica. Where are you from?
Farmed salmon doesn’t arrive at the grocery store gray. It’s pink. The salmon were FED the pigment while they were alive. It’s just as pink as wild salmon when it gets to the store (but you can tell the difference by looking at the fat).
Seriously though. I’ve always heard about this whole “farmed salmon is gray” thing, but no matter how hard I’ve looked I haven’t been able to find a picture of any grey salmon meat. Farmed salmon meat without pigment probably just looks like some other colorless fish like tilapia or cod or something. There’s no reason to say it’s “gray” necessarily and there’s noting gross or unhealthy about it.
I can appreciate this piece
I'm addicted to cracked.

Then you're ignorant
@@NikoBellaKhouf Not totally ignorant allot of this stuff is totally fine from a health perspective like there is litterly nothing wrong with meat glue it has no effect on the health and flavor of the food. And also I feel this video made it seem like these are issues in the American food industry when I know for a fact many of these same things are allowed in the EU.
@@austinblackburn8095 you keep thinking that. Then wonder why the majority of the country isn't healthy.

The stuff in a can that you mix with water is not made this way thankfully. It goes bad a few days after you mix it up but at least there are no perfumes in it.
kokopuppy57342 That's nice to know, but I meant the juice which is in a cartoon but says it's from concentrate where you don't add water. It's already a liquid.
+clowntrooper61 Better eat the whole fruit rather drink the juice. One 250ml glass of orange juice has the same kilojoules as 6-8 whole oranges without the fibre.
Megan Williams Yeah that does seems better but i'm not a fan of eating an orange because the stringy bits in the segmants get stuck in my teeth
That stringy stuff is what helps digestive function and contains soluble as well as insoluble fibre.
another great one
This is EXACTLY why I cook at home with fresh ingredients! I know all about what they do in the food industry.
I want to formally apologize to every vegan I've ever made fun of. Um, I'm sorry, I did not know... I I did not know...
Why would you? The food industry is exploiting the gullibility of vegans too. Even more so because they're charging more for the same (or even worse) garbage than everyone else eats using misinformation to make it look healthier.
Djorgal well most vegans eat organic and go out of their way to grow stuff. I'm not gonna turn into a vegan, I love my meat glue but I can see why they were scared off from eating this crap we stuff down our face daily. Most of this is illegal in europe, why not america? I knew we should of moved to France inatead
Rodrick Perry I actually am french, so i don't worry too much. Anyhow it'll be hard to pour down meat glue down my throat without me noticing something.
Also I eat my steak rare, which in the USA would result in certain death ^^.
Djorgal lol ça c'est vrai. Je parle français aussi. Salut mon ami.
Rodrick Perry Ohh, intéressant. Mais tu es quand même américain, t'as appris le français à quel occasion ? Raisons scolaires ?
This is called chemophobia: an irrational categorical fear of that which is "unnatural" or from a misunderstanding of what chemicals are (hint: water is a chemical) or the other uses of an ingredient, including not in food, as if that mattered at all.
Cracked is usually on the ball, but this was a lot of fearmongering.
What's even worse is, if these fuckerds have their way and everything becomes fresh and natural, prices are going to skyrocket.
You can either have a naturally occurring chemical, or you can have the same exact chemical made in a lab for a fraction of the price.
You clearly did not pay attention to the points, it was not talking about the chemicals but the way they obscure the lack of nutrition. The chemicals aren't ever discussed as an issue in this video only as a form of misdirection. How can you're listening comprehension be so poor.
1Rekuiem They barely mentioned nutrition, if at all. They said that we aren't supposed to eat something because it tastes like ass. There's nothing factual about that statement. Something can taste like ass and still be nutritious. You don't even taste the actual vitamins and minerals.
Things like fruit don't taste good because they're nutritious, they taste good because that fruit "wants" you to eat it and shit the seeds out so a new tree will grow.
Instead of worrying about how things are made, you should be looking at the nutritional facts printed on the packaging, and reading studies when you're concerned about certain products.
Their points were correct, but the presentation was bias abnoxtious fearmongering. Providing just enough info to freak people out without providing enough to Acctually make people informed. Super annoying.
Heeeey grape is always one of my favorite candy flavors! 😂😂😂
I never complained about grape flavor. The only flavor I complain about is watermelon.
Thanks 4 depressed view. Now I know why I can't lose weight. Does anyone know how to get real food ♧
it's not hard, just choose healthy natural whole foods they're still available, and learn how to cook.
Easy said then done. I work 12hrs. A day. Some times its easer to go the fast food route.
+sean sims true, it is easier to go the fast food route, cheaper too, but I believe it's worth putting in the extra effort to eat right, sometimes I work 12 hr days too, but I quit eating fast food, instead I go to the store when I can and stock up on several days worth of good food.
+sean sims Eat less and run.. even if your eating cardboard, make sure your eating fewer calories of it,.. you can lose weight eating crap.. if you want to be healthy, that is something else, losing weight is easy though if you cut back calories and stop trying to have the feeling of fullness 24/7. If you want healthy then eat some vegetables and fruit.
The Amish?
Just go and watch food inc. dont say who cares as long as it tastes good. You should be pissed off that billionaires are jeopardising your health and selling you stuff that isnt what it claims to be just so they can make more money. Staying in america for a few months, i got headaches and stomach pains and just felt weird from all the preservatives in the food there. Dont put up with it
What kinda glue is this guy sniffing? Purple flavour is boss
my new Favorite channel
For fuck's sake... "OH MY GOD! YOU'RE EATING CELLULOSE, WE CAN'T EVEN DIGEST THAT" you know what else we eat? Thoroughly indigestible corn. Also, guess what? If you eat any sodding plant, ever, or if you like cinnamon, you should have no problem with the idea of eating something vaguely reminiscent or related to wood.
"If you eat any sodding plant, ever, or if you like cinnamon, you should have no problem with the idea of eating something vaguely reminiscent or related to wood." What even...? Did you write that with your face?
+99lum so... what's your actual problem with it?
+Penjacker Rekcajnep I've literally never thought about going up to a tree and eating a piece of bark, so no I'm really not.
+Greg Savacool have you ever eaten cinnamon?
Mediterranean people just eat whatever is naturally available to them... That's the only difference. That an lots of olive oil. Olive oil everything!
Anyhow, if you don't want that highly processed shit.. Just move to Germany. They have such strict regulations on food, even the cheapest piece of cheese is actual cheese and not plastic.
yup that's true. Same goes for Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
Zeverouis Not 100% true, there is that cheese that actually is not cheese in germany too. Cheese analogue has been sold in germany for quite a while now. The important part is that it can not be labeled as cheese. And that applies iirc to the whole EU. Does not stop the food industry to use quite a bit of that stuff in processed food over in europe too.
Traumglanz
Didn't know that, thanks for the info mate! I guess I've just grown up on fresh produce rather then refined shit.
Your welcome. Zeverouis
Cheese analogue is usually sold under labels like "Pizza Mix", etc basically anything that does not say cheese. Nothing really bad about it either, it actually useful for vegans for example, but it for sure is not the same quality as the real deal.
But the important part is even though it's legal to sell it, at least regulations are strict enough to ban the producers from literally saying "cheese" on the package (which I would consider fraud).
you guys never put enough information in these videos
Superb video! Thank you!
