    Special thanks to Julianna Miller. She’s the original creator of this nutcracker and her build inspired mine. Her work is impeccable and without her nutcracker, I wouldn’t have been able to create such a great build. Her Facebook page is called Quite Corner Crafting with Julianna. Check it out!
    Part 1 was one of my first RUclips videos and unfortunately, I did not know how to properly edit, splice and create a detailed tutorial video. Part 2 aims to clarify many of the questions that were asked and help those create their very own Giant Nutcracker.

    I’m still working on my solider. Question…..I see in your original video you’re painting the legs which I believe are made of pvc.
    What did you use to paint the legs? I see your using a paint brush. So I’m assuming you Used house paint. I know you said you also used dry lock to weather proof, did your use that on the pvc as well? Sorry for all the questions! I spray painted my arms the head and the hands but I really hate spray paint

    • @IsaacAlexanderDIY
      @IsaacAlexanderDIY  2 года назад

      No DryLoc was used on pvc. I only used exterior latex paint for the legs and arms. After you paint the body (torso, head, hat) with DryLoc, then you can use your choice of exterior paint

    • @IsaacAlexanderDIY
      @IsaacAlexanderDIY  2 года назад

    • @IsaacAlexanderDIY
      @IsaacAlexanderDIY  2 года назад

      I’m sorry for this horribly late reply, for some reason RUclips isn’t showing me the notifications for every video. I used a weatherproofer called DryLoc, it comes in white and gray. It doesn’t matter what color you use because you still have to paint it with the colors of the hat, the skin and the red coat. After you paint it with dryloc, you have to let it dry and then apply a second or even third coat. That way it’ll be weatherproofed
