    That spotting scope is more valuable than you think. Hunters use them for spotting game and for long range shooting. Might bring you anywhere from $ 75 to a $ 100 dollars used. I looked it up on ebay and found it be worth more but, you'll have to work it out for what you can get or want.

    Just cleaned out our storage unit, getting ready to downsize it. I thought of you guys, it was a mess with the most random stuff. We moved out quickly and put 90% of our stuff in the unit. It felt good to rent a dumpster and throw out 50%. Couldn't even donate anything because of where we live. But I didnt care I watched 3 seasons of hoarders to prepare myself.

    The scope you found earlier in the video is a spotting scope. They're used for spotting long range targets for marksmen. Some VHS tapes, depending on their condition and what they are can actually be worth decent ca$h.

    If no one has said anything yet, the magnifying glass with the clips is called a "Helping Hand", usually used in electronics repair to hold wires while soldering, or jewelry making, or anything that requires that extra pair of hands you always wish you had. They really don't cost much, $5 to $15 at the most. I'd say flea market item. :(

    With towels and junk Tshirts you can bag up and sell as "bag of rags" lots of industries buy them, like mechanics, painters, especially ones that say service air tools when they pull them to pieces etc.

    I know this is late, but just an fyi…the stuff y’all found that’s “day of the dead” or aka “día del los muertos” is a Mexican Holiday and not a Hispanic thing. All Hispanic cultures aren’t the same. I can’t say for sure if it’s well made stuff or not since I am not too familiar with the Mexican culture(but they do look nicely made).

    The magnifying glass and alligator clip holder is a craft device called a third hand for example in soldering components on a circuit board, one hand holds the soldering iron the other hand holds the solder and the third hand holds the circuit board with the components. The magnifying glass just makes it easier to see what your doing.

    • @calliew311

      @@buyerofsorts then you're clearly not from there. I clipped this from a news article...: "In fact, a new report ranks the San Jose metro as the most expensive areas in the country to buy a home."
      I also copied this from a business insider article..."The metro area defined by the US Census as San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara is the proverbial heart of Silicon Valley - and the most expensive place to live in the US. Goods and services are about 27% more expensive than the national average in San Jose, and the median home sale price is over $1 million."

    • @calliew311
      @calliew311 3 года назад +1

      @@buyerofsorts maybe google, is Santa Clara county (San Jose's county) or is the San Jose metro area the most expensive place to live in the US. There are several articles that confirm just that. It's not just homes, but everything from McDonald's to an apple at a grocery store being more expensive. I can vouch since I lived in the area. It's not the MOST expensive homes in the country, it's the most expensive on avg. The tech companies have pushed most reg folks out.

    I really like watching the videos of what you find in the storage units that's cool but you really are way too rough you could be breaking something very valuable or you need to be a little bit more delicate with how you handled the things because it almost is a turn off to not want to watch because of how rough you are with the stuff regardless if it's in a storage unit or not bro you know you could be breaking a really good piece of Crystal or something you could be losing out on some pretty decent money just a suggestion from one of your viewers that's all.
