I am doing a woobles kit and I could not for the life of me figure out the crochet into a center ring. So I said screw it and tried the magic loop and I got it first try! I’ve tried learning to crochet before to no avail but this video made it so easy to understand!
I’ve watched at least 3 other videos on magic circles and this is the first time it’s made sense! Thank you!! I’m almost done with my second Wooble :-)
Thank you so much !! I watched a dozen other videos at all different slow speeds trying to get it, and this is the only one that made it click for me! I didn't even need to slow it down to keep up, you paced it perfectly. Your description of yarn/finger placement, how you hold or adjust your grip, where the yarn should be/hoe it should look on the hook -- all these details that someone oriented like myself needed to really grasp it. I'm so, so appreciative! Thank you!
Thank you so much!! I swear I’ve been trying to do this for three hours, and your video is the only one that made sense to me and had very clear instructions!! I will for sure be checking out your other videos for help!! 😁
THANK YOU! I've watched multiple videos where they use other fancy terms that I don't know, making me feel dumb for not being able to do anything! This really broke it down so I could do it, once again thank you! I was able to do it first try with this!😁
I are so good bro like how it is so detailed and any dumb baby can understand now I am the best at crocheting just becuase of this wonderful master crocheter❤💕💕💌💌💌
I understood this from watching the first time around. I'm self taught and have been crocheting for maybe 23 years or so. I love your channel and I love your Woobles. I dont mean thus in a bad way, so please don't get mad. This is just from experience. I would have split this video up. 1: Tension and holding your work. 2: magic loop. I know when I'm frustrated and I can't figure something out and a video kind of has alot that I have to listen to and focus on n when I'm already frustrated... I'll skip the video. I'm sure there's alot of people like that especially with the way of the world. Everything is do fast paced. I end up coming back and looking at written notes too. I've also been brainstorming because I have thought about making a RUclips channel but soooi many people have a crochet channel I'm not sure if nine would be worth it. Ok. Done rambling. Much love and ✌☮

I did this one on Kiki my first Wooble but now that I saw the Magic Ring, I think it looks easier. For now I will stick with Woobles loop and practice lol😂
I hear you! I had to start over and was determined to learn to do the magic loop and it took me many tries. But I did finally get it! you can do this!😊
Ooohh, I see what I did wrong, I was holding the ends of the string backwards 😂 I kept making a knot that wouldn't tighten, going to practice a few times but Great Tutorial ❤
I have watched this for hours now and I still don’t know how I’m creating stitches. The yarn you are using is not the same as what you have in your kits. So frustrated!!!!!
I really like your initial set up explanation but as an experienced crocheter I didn’t need all the extra stuff or just a quicker version of it. If you redid this with thinner yarn aimed at more experienced yarners you’d crack heaps of views I think. You probably need a beginner plus advanced version. I don’t thick thicker yarn helps with tutorials because it’s not usually a ‘real life’ situation. Great job with your loop tech though- best I’ve seen yet ❤.
Easier is relative. I lost count of how many tutorials I watched as a literal day 1 beginner and this is the only video that actually helped me understand what the hell I'm doing.
i made a magic loop but its so hard to start a single crochet stitch for a new round on the first stitch of the magic loop. what am i doing wrong. did i make the magic loop stitches too tight?
It could be that you made the stitches too tight, or maybe you're trying to crochet into the knot instead of the single crochet stitch! In case it's useful, we have a Facebook group for beginners, where you can post a photo of your magic loop and get some help: facebook.com/groups/beginnercrocheters
I am struggling with the second round - where to slide my hook into for that first stitch. This is my first time doing a wobble and first time attempting to crochet. Thanks!
As a leftie, this is definitely kind of confusing, since i cant see exactly how to do it in the proper hand, but other than that this is a great tutorial!
a video i can understand! i watched over a dozen similar ones and struggled with the speed of the teaching or their hand placement (people cover up what they're doing ┗( T﹏T )┛) thank you for making this!!
I did not get a starter price even though I bought it from the original website and I had to use this video. It’s too hard for me right now I’m struggling 😅
Still struggling it doesn’t help that for my first major project I made a super chunky cardigan with a 12mm hook and now trying to make a small Santa with thin yarn and a 3.5mm hook but I’m not going to let it beat me.
Hi, I’m braaaaand new to crochet and I accidentally messed up the prestarted magic loop on my Felix the fox and need to remake it lol I was wondering how many stitches are in it so I know how many to make. Thank you! I love Woobles edit: this has nothing to do with their instructions this was my fault
Maybe I'm the oddball out but I truthfully found how slow and overly explained it was made it harder than the videos where they go too fast. Personal found this video more frustrating than helpful
I don't know if it will help those that struggle: try slowing down video. It has helped me because I do not learn things quickly. Make sure to mute video unless you enjoy very slow talking.
I really appreciate your efforts, but you just gotta get with it. You do alot of, "remember..." and repeating six ways till Sunday I just kind of give ip cuz this takes so long to get thru it and my hand cramps up waiting for you to just SHOW US.
Yes this is a waste of money I did the entire tutorial and my piece is a tortilla at the end flat she never explains about the reduction stitches they go half of the braid on the top is so frustrated I sell all my kits done with this.
I watched a 3 minute tutorial on how to do this. It was to music and not talking/explaining. I’m sorry, but you spent way too much time on this and over explained. Also, creating the magic loop the way the other video showed was much easier than how You showed to do it.
erm what the sigma mine looks nothing like you. you take four hours to explain how to go into crocheting position like, ugh. how am i supposed to replay this to understand more when it take 12 years to finally get to the part i don’t understand. like we would be at this video if we didn’t know how to get into crocheting position. also, why is my cornelius so fat. i’m done with the wobbles. 1 star. 😠
It might be fat because your stitches may be too big. Stitch size control comes with practice, so don't feel discouraged! Wish you luck on your crocheting journey! 😊
I reallllly didn't like this tutorial. I have adhd and she took way too long to explain it. My loop kept falling apart while waiting for the next step and she just took so long to explain things.
FINALLY A TUTORIAL I CAN UNDERSTAND It took me weeks to find a good tutorial, thank you! very well explained
I wish there was a version of this that cuts some of the info out, just for when we're watching it for the 10th time lol
I feel this way about ALL of their videos. She goes on and on.
🤣Too funny! This must be time 11 for me 😵💫
Same, i had to put mine at 1.75x speed to make it bearable 🤣

Same with me! I'm doing Pierre the penguin.
I’ve watched at least 3 other videos on magic circles and this is the first time it’s made sense! Thank you!! I’m almost done with my second Wooble :-)
I went through 6 other tutorials- this is best one 🥲
Thanks for saying that!

THANK YOU. LITERALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🥹🥹🥹 I’ve been struggling for so long and finally a magic circle!
I got this after a few tries. Thank you for the amazing content!
The only tutorial on the internet that I succeeded

the best example of the elusive Magic Ring❤
Omg this was amazing!!! I got it after my 2nd try!!!!!! You are such an amazing teacher thank you!!!!!
Great tutorial. I got it the first try. ❤ then forgot then was able to do it after a couple more tries.
Finally a proper explanation :D
Thank you for making this video
thank you!! i got it after only a couple tries, thanks to your instructions
I forget to half the stitches but this reminded me of that. Thanks so much.🎉❤
Thank you so much I have been spending along time trying to get the hang of this and is great to have clear instructions

Much love and ✌☮
i can get up to the first stitch, when i try to do the second one it gets all messed up and just looks like a giant knot
idk what im doing wrong because im doing the exact same thing i did for the first stitch
@@skygames6306 I have the same issue! :(

helps a lots
Love this. although rewatch ? I found it simple. But I catch on if a can watch
Is the first one a slip knot… cause it looks like a slip knot and there is a much easier way to start a slip knot
Easier is relative. I lost count of how many tutorials I watched as a literal day 1 beginner and this is the only video that actually helped me understand what the hell I'm doing.
Where do I put the stich marker at the end? The first stich into the new row, or the increase stitch?
For the tiger snout, instead of a stitch from 6 to 1, we're doing the invisible fasten off? I'm confused on this and it's got me stuck
Thank you for this!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!
so easy!! thank you :D
Why the orange hook? That's 6.0mm in my collection. The kits come w/ 4.0mm. Is it a better size to make magic circle?
very helpfull thx💯⭐
i made a magic loop but its so hard to start a single crochet stitch for a new round on the first stitch of the magic loop. what am i doing wrong. did i make the magic loop stitches too tight?
It could be that you made the stitches too tight, or maybe you're trying to crochet into the knot instead of the single crochet stitch! In case it's useful, we have a Facebook group for beginners, where you can post a photo of your magic loop and get some help: facebook.com/groups/beginnercrocheters
3:50 "the size that you would normally do when you're crocheting"
But this is my first time 😭😭
does it matter how long the yarn tail is?
it just makes a giant knot for me i’ve tried like fifty times
I am struggling with the second round - where to slide my hook into for that first stitch. This is my first time doing a wobble and first time attempting to crochet. Thanks!
sigh. when i attempt 8:10. pulling the yarn tail does nothing; the yarn tail will not budge.
thanks dude
yes very informative
ikr
Why the heck does one crochet stitch have two loops!? So confusing.
As a leftie, this is definitely kind of confusing, since i cant see exactly how to do it in the proper hand, but other than that this is a great tutorial!
I know it's probably too late now but they have a playlist of lefty tutorials
@@supernova622 thank you! I found it!

I was wondering about this myself. This is a great tutorial, but damn, I can see why it's difficult to learn.
When I try to close the hole the yarn tail does nothing
I did have to slow this down, so she sounds REALLY drunk but it works. XD

Ong that made a lot of sense
Can do robe tell me what size hook you use
I ordered the kit without one because I gave hooks

I need help I only have a pin needle unlike the fat monster hook that you have
How did I end up with 3 V’s? Am I looking at this wrong?? Lol

I’m here because my pre-started piece had the incorrect amount of stitches 💀
That increase stitch was sooooo confusing
I do everything she does but then during the process I finally realize it looks nothing like hers 😭
it kept coming undone
