Best Country Song doesn't have as much of a history being presented during the main telecast and the same can be said for other genres in some years. However, Best Country Album does in fact have a pretty consistent history of being awarded during the live broadcast (Dixie Chicks "Taking the Long Way" & Kacey Musgraves "Same Trailer Different Park" & "Golden Hour" are just some recent examples that come to mind). Tanya's career resurgence was already a main highlight and in addition to that, she was the most nominated country artist that year alone. I wish they would have given her this moment during the main broadcast because it would have received more attention. Producing a live broadcast isn't a walk in the park and it's nearly always running overtime, but I'm pretty positive there were aspects that could have been shortened or cut to allow for Best Country Album to be awarded at the main ceremony.
