A combo of LW & Mei team mate swapping to troll the Cheater would have been glorious.
LW Pulls can be irritating, especially on a dive or brawl Tank, had one LW player yesterday that would Pull me just as I was starting my Piledriver on Wrecking Ball.
It was on the Oasis map with high ceilings so was extra annoying due to the extra effort needed to even grapple swing into the right positions for Piledriver.
I swapped to Junker Queen to vent some rage the next round (no suprise, we lost the first one) and the LW would Pull me to high ground away from 3 enemies just as I started to swing Carnage.
I died so many times due to him denying me inflicting Bleed on enemies.
Honestly, LW pull van be incredibly useful and highly valuble if used correctly....but it can rival, if not best, Mei walls.
@@soulsurvivor8293 it's sooo annoying to play ball with lw who doesn't know what he's doing. I usually don't pull hamster ever, unless he's about to die and has no shields. Ball can manage outpos by himself, so there is no need to bring him to high ground etc.
On the other hand, I got hate couple of times from people, who I pulled FIRST time in a match and they immediately start squeeking in a voice chat. Like get over it. One not too valuable pull doesn't do any harm.

So I got fed up and pulled him before he could touch for overtime.

Actually a guy named Thor explained the anti cheat system. Basically the anti cheat does catch cheaters almost instantly but what the anti cheat does instead of ban people is gather data over a series of days to try to detect the scale of the cheat. If it's very small or very few it's more responsive but if it's the same cheat on mass it informs a security person who then tries to locate where the cheats are sold. Most cheats are sold on PayPal and PayPal has a charge back to the seller when someone requests a refund. The refunds can be done up to 6 months back. If the security person find the specific hack and if it's sold on platforms like PayPal they purposely wait and allow the hacks to expand over a few months and once enough hacks have been sold they do a mass ban on that particular hack. They also coordinate with other companies on timing this ban. The goal is to have the hackers PayPal flooded with returns/charge backs which is an attempt to financially break the hacker.

Ngl it’s so refreshing seeing cheaters in higher elo getting rolled and forced to draw. They usually play against lower elo players which is why they always win but seeing GM players who understand how the game works draw the game while also trolling the cheater is so refreshing to watch.

@@maximedemersboucher9060looks like we found the plat watcher, smurf enjoyer, Widow headshot lobby enthusiast. To each their own. At the top levels though its a team game. Even when widows were dominate GM Lobbies either played to counter or enable their mirror better for duels.
That is the Overwatch I enjoy. The chess match with headshots I like to call it.

The whole thing of both teams agreeing to draw when there is a cheater is 100% something that is only seen in GM and maybe Masters. In the other ranks, people will take any free wins they can get.
True, but it’s not always as clear or people don’t know how to draw. Beside the fact that people lie about it, so they don’t get a loss. And that you might win a game with a cheater on your team, but you also loss some with a cheater on the enemy team. So in some cases it equals it out.

the tracer being afk, getting pushed, dodging, sticking, recalling and going back to being afk was the best thing ive seen in a bit
Game devs have a tactic called ban waves where cheaters are identified but not banned instantly. They will instead be banned at regular intervals later. This way the person who bought the hacks complains to the person they bought it from that their “undetectable hacks” got caught and the company doesn’t know what got them caught. This way hackers don’t become harder to spot. That’s why this dude and others weren’t banned around Christmas time, A. It’s not around the interval B. There’s more players during the holidays and C. Hackers are just more common around the holidays as mommy bought him this new program that makes him “play better”.
The ban waves excuse is fine for SUBTLE hacks. Its about making them not know if X and Y software or method of injection is detected. It is NOT about obvious hacks. If I can visually tell you are a cheater without a single shred of doubt, you get banned, and hackers know not to be obvious for that reason. That said I imagine Blizzard requires a human reviewing a replay or something and don't have automatic ban on these, so thats why right now he's not getting banned.

I was duoing with my friend in ranked and we were playing on shimbali against this 4 stack. We were destroying them so bad they started ddosing our entire team whenever a fight started until they won the fight. My friend and i thought it was just ping issues but it was only happening when the fights started and only to my team. The funny thing is that although on our screens people were in the sky or under the ground we still almost won. They just barely won after cranking it to 1000😂

Coming from r6 (which has a way worse cheating problem if you don’t know) I can spot cheaters in this game like a fkin hawk. And yeah. Unlike in most other games cheating is way less rewarding in OW which I think speaks to its strong fundies in game design
