Oxford Bus Company don’t do that, they just say “this is the 400 service to Oxford City Centre” and “the next stop is oxford rail station”

I travel on buses quite a lot in Teesside North East of England and I've noticed all bus drivers wave at each other it doesn't matter which company the Bus is from but they do say we are more friendly up the North than down south lol probably because the mortgages and rent are cheaper lol and we are not stressed out as much as them down south lmfao

On the news they said that their is a glitch . They said that it will be fixed . It's really annoying but people should know that the bus will move and they should hold on but it's their anyway to remind them

Health and safety gone mad - the next level! Next they're be telling drivers not to pull away until the automated message finished its message. Must drive you mad hearing that 1000s of times a day lol. How long until there will be messages saying mind the gap/step at every stop

I don't hear them as much when I'm in the drivers cab, as the plastic screen helps keep the sound out! But I can see why the passenger's are annoyed!

We have had this on some of the South Yorkshire busses for about a year and a half now. But it doesn't say any of that. It just says which stop is next and the route number
In Yorkshire, we have something similar, like it could say ‘this is the 163 service to Leeds’ and at every stop, the woman says ‘your next stop is:’ and then wherever it may be
I love the way the announcement always plays when the bus is about a mile from the bus stop!

In Ireland we have an announcement something similar that says "Please hold on while the bus is moving or coming to a stop".

There was another message on some buses like W4 it says “please hold on whiles the bus is moving” which makes more sense

Its a good idea for passengers safety especially if the driver does an emergency stop quickly . But the timing could be better.

When you first get a route how do you remember what roads to go down
In Sheffield the announcment system is so slow that halfway through the message saying the next stop youve gone past it
i have actually fallen over on a bus before 😂i was just getting up to head to the door to get off and the driver suddenly had to emergency stop (a car pulled out in front) - unfortunately it threw me too hard for me too keep my grip lol
i was so embarrassed 😂

Anton I never thought I would ever be watching videos on buses but I really enjoy your videos I’m a concession bus pass holder (disabled) I was wondering the last time I was in London was 2008 I always wondered since watching your content do disabled pass holders travel for free just with Oyster card system
There has been times were I'm going find somewhere to sit down and the driver ( some drivers do it and some wait until you sat down ) pulls away and I nearly face plant the floor and I think to myself can you just wait until I sat down first and I have seen people struggling to get to their seats as the driver pulls away to fast

Can you make a video on what happens in a bus crash, for example I don't know if you've ever been in one but if you got in one would you lose your job or what would happen? Wexii ....I can't mention specifics..but as long as company procedure is followed (if an accident happens)...then all is well!
I can't go into detail....but code red and contacting the ibus radio control and filling in online accident forms...is the actual procedure!
