Brilliant discussion. My four are Rackard Forde O' Kennedy and Bolger. Delighted Dizzy mentioned Sean 'O Kennedy. Very long ago but impossible to leave out once his achievements on and off the field are listed.

Another contender - Billy Lacey, played for Liverpool and Everton and maybe the best Irish player of his era

Absolutely love the passion of the boys but its a disgrace that Darcy or Furlong were never even seriously considered ,
Points to the same ridiculous snobbery often accused at rugby folk

If they were going to consider a Wexford rugby player, in my opinion it should be Karl Mullen.
But anyway, as a proud Wexican I loved this piece this morning, great joy to hear two brilliant speakers. My personal 4 were Rackard, Forde, Storey, Forde, Karl Mullen.

@@hugofallon3724 Darcy was a very good player but lived in BOD's shadow his whole career and didn't really get the recognition he deserved (a bit like Donners was in Paulie's shadow mostly).. but should have got more than two seconds mention.. furlong not considered because he is still playing, that is they way with every county I've seen so far
