I applied for the same series, same grade job just different location and the notice says tentively eligible.What does that mean tentively eligible?

I’m a current fed employee and just received a TJO for a promotion within same agency but different department. I will need to negotiate my start date because scheduled for surgery to be of work out 4-6 weeks.
Do you have any advice how to discuss with HR?
Already been approved for FMLA and Leave Donations.
Can this cause my FJO to be rescinded?

You're welcome! Thank you for your support! When you move internally usually the gaining and losing supervisors negotiate a transfer date. Should be no problem to ask for a specific start date. I'd just tell them like you did here that you have a surgery coming up and want a certain date.
