I remember buying my friend's original Xbox off him for a hundred bucks back in like 2009, after only having Nintendo and PC. I played through his KOTOR 1 and 2 and loved them, but then I was itching for another RPG. I was heading into college, so I limited my budget to 10 bucks and went to Disc Replay. They had both Fable and Morrowind for 7 bucks each, and I asked the counter guy which one I should get... he said Fable. The game was perfect. Even though I played fable around six years ago I still remember every sing detail of the story! The narration of fable 1 is awesome!!!
This will always be one of my favourite game series! Last time I played them, one after the other, I went more into detail and actually found new things and quests that I didn't know about first time 😊
I remember played the first one as a child, really loved it, especially the game art
2 was my personal favorite but I think the series as a whole is very underrated.
fable 2 was my first jump into the fable universe. I will never forget the first time I played it falling in love with all the humor and even the sad bits as well. It may not be the best fable game, but it holds a place in my heart as one of my favorite games of all time.
I literally just finished the game fable anniversary, love this game, i play it on steam, totally amazing, i hope they make a fable 4 that is strongly like the first one
i spent hours smithing swords and buying buildings in fable 3 just to keep my promises because even in games it hurts to let someone down
Jop3lius if you’re start your financial guide at the beginning by smithing then immediately buying as much property as you can the time you spend playing will allow you to collect rent so many times that you can continue to expand your real estate empire and afford everything with ease late game
@@nathanieljavallas694 didnt know i was gonna need that much money when i started.
I heard that the Fable 2 ending pissed some people off. It genuinely made me laugh with glee. I expected him to take more than one bullet.
My brother did all of the "evil" choses to get money in order to save everyone then he sent to my account where I chose the "good" options
Why you gotta do me like this? Giving me hope for a new fable game
Number 4 is in the works
They are making a new game that actually sounds kinda promising although a bit weird, very little information on it last I looked, but it seems they are hitting a reset button, something about bringing the spire back and some boi using it for a cataclysm setting things back to a similar state to the 1st one.
@@gageshott5654 Ah the good old tattered spire, hello darkness my old friend
A month late to the comment but Fable 4 is legit being worked on. Phil Spencer said Fable series will be coming back. A new company is taking charge, forgot the name.
Ramit Inmah Ashol it’s playground games ( the ones that make forza horizon games)
Honestly if there is a fable 4 i think it just might pick up a little while after the events of fable 3
I want to see them go back in time in the age of heros. Fable one was undoubtedly the best fable game made. 2 and 3 were severely lacking imo.
My first Fable game was 3 and I enjoyed playing the Good (which was very hard) and the Evil (very fun)
Fable. The coolest game that just got progressively worse and worse with every passing game. All of your choices are moot and your bloodline weakens incredibly.
That is actually pretty close to what real life is
Fable 1 and 2 were amazing, part 3 was a downgrade. Hopefully Fable 4 brings back a great campaign like the first 2 games.
Finally I can know the story without watching 345 videos that are false
Play the games, they're worth it. There's so much to them.
I played the 3 games when I was about 6-10 years old and played them again when I was 20. It was so cool to be young and old in both the game and in real life
Fable, my favorite game.
im playing fable 3 right now. thats my favourite fable game.
It was like a combination between my two favorite franchises of all time, Zelda and Baldur's Gate (the real PC game, not the stupid Dark Alliance spinoff). It really did a fantastic job of combining the best of Adventure games and RPGs.
I never got around to playing the sequels... the mere existence of guns was enough to make me roll my eyes and say "aight, not my kind of medieval fantasy game." I picked up Dragon Age instead and moved on. Though I always wondered what the plot of the series would be. So now, here I am, finally finding out. Thanks for the video!
They should make the next game between Fable I and Fable II, so they can name it Fable I.V as in Fable 4 and Fable 1.5
11:25 Well more children than the fable III children, if you marry during the game.
I loved fable 2 and the dlc stuff. You had a dog! it was Amazing!
So THIS was Fable 3 huh? Man...I knew i didnt like it at the time i was a teenager because it felt so industrialized, but honestly seeing it now i kinda wish i had played it at the time. I loved Fable 1 and adored Fable 2 to the point of being a perfectionist on it, but at least my teenage self could still remember why i stopped at Fable 2. Still, looking at it now makes me wonder how i woudl've felt about Fable 3 had i played it then...
My teenage Self spit on Fable: The Jourmey and i still spit on to this day. It don't count
Fable III was a lot of fun for what it was--it's beautiful looking, and the story is decent. I hate how simplified they made the controls and all that, but oh well, they tried something new.
I still recommend you check it out. It's not a terrible game.
@Ciel Phantomhive Gokuson in case u just skimmed over the key words in my comment, i basically said i wish i had played fable 3 back then.
One of my all time favorite games. Will get fable tattoo some day.
Tacky
Rick Cicchini
What’s tacky?
@@RickCicchini You obviously don't get the joke. But one of the key things in the fable games was body tattoos, hairstyles and outfit/armor sets. Since it didn't let you change face shape or even genger in the earlier games. (fable 3 had a gender choice)
@@DBZVelena so did fable 2
@@harryalgar2494 never had the chance to play that one.
personally i want to see the guild again
And i just started a game last night, the graphics give me a headache because im 20 years older lol
Honestly I love all the Fable games. Especially the second one.
Honestly... I loved Fable 3 too.
Fable is still one of my favorite games. 🐐
Fable 2 is my favorite. By far
Fable the lost chapters is still the best game out all of them.
The first fable is by far the best one
Yes
What Your Thoughts On Netflix Pickup Live-Action FABLE Series
For real is this true
Is this true? There is a fable Netflix series?!
@@shadowhound21 I don't know
@@codymaple1017 Not true lol
i always loved fable III very much as it was the first fable i played, i grew up with it and i was very surprised to learn that the fans hate it so i played fable tlc then fable II and i now understand why, i mean fable 3 is not that bad but its just not fable, of course i still love it a lot but i understand the disappointment of fans. To this day i still play fable every months lmao
Fable 1 is OG best RPG ever . You can't change my mind
I agree as long as were talking the Lost Chapters or Anniversary
@@arlisbartlett403 all of em. You can't get me to denounce the original and all its bugs and terrible graphics.
It’s not really a good RPG through lol it’s very linear which is great it’s got its own thing going but I wouldn’t call it an RPG like Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Pillars of Eternity, Mass Efect, Witcher etc.
I think it would be amazing if they came out with a remaster of fable the first game for the Nintendo switch that would be lit
Fable 1 was great, Fable 1 with extended content was amazing! fable 2 was good, fable 3 was not memorable.
You’re just bad with money... and you should have focused on the teleportation skill first, it became amazing
Is it bad I do a good bad and funny play through for all the games?
I miss these stories and series
I'd love a full reboot of the story, it makes a better idea doing that since all 3 studios that did the fables games folded and closed
We've played the games what about the old kingdom?
fable in a more modern setting will be TOO modern. Unless it's done VERY carefully, I'd probably refuse to play it.
Hans Olav I feel the exact same way! Fable in a modern setting just feels wrong
Maybe Called Fable - The Beginning
The First Hero of Albion. That would be a great start and slowly work the story up to Fable 1 over many games.
I think if there is going to be a 4th, it would have to either take place before the first, or between the first and second
For someone over 500 years old and whom you might have killed in the previous game.
Also I would love to play a game set during the fall of the guild.
Never played the first one but my favourite is two!! Loved the story was harrowing with the sister and then with the spire! Fable 3 was good but was lacking from all you could do before in two.
I have a question though is the sister from the first one Theresa?
This is great now that fable 4 is coming out soon
bryan ortiz not too “soon”. It will be allmost two years AT LEAST
@@B1811-g1e that's soon because the standard for release dates after Trailer are 3-4 years
B181 123 I’ve waited patiently for 10 years for this game 2 years is nothing
It's a reboot not fable 4.
Wow you’re really gonna make me relive dogs death? Wack.
I remember the first fable when it came out. The story and gameplay really were top notch for the time.
I wanna see the tale of the very, very first hero of old. The story Teresa's mother use to tell her an her little brother
Plot twist: Walter is the protagonist from the first game :0
