    Ingredients for sambar podi /thool
    1) Dry Red chilli/ Kaaindha milagai vathal - 250 Grams with kaambu.
    2) Milagu/Pepper - 100 Grams
    3) Jeeragam /cumin - 100 Grams
    4) Turmeric sticks/ virali manjal - 100 Grams
    5) Toor dal / thuvaram parupu - 200 Grams
    6) Channa Dal / Kadala parupu - 150 Grams
    7) Dhania / coriander seeds / kothamalli vidaigal - 500 Grams to 600 Grams
    8) urad dal / ulutham parupu - 25 grams {2 Table spoons}
    9) Vendayam / fenugreek/methi seeds - 25 grams
    10) Curry leaves / karuvepalai - 1 CUP { 50 grams approximately}
    Please note
    1) the ingredients used in this recipe are more suitable for those who have ulcer and people who eat less kaaram.
    2) this recipe is from my paatis recipe and she has given a recipe for aged people.
    3) you can adjust the taste as per your preference
