You might wanna rename this to 3 minute review.
Best money I’ve spent this year gaming. This title damn near art.
just saw this on curated queue on steam today, looked interesting.
I loved this game but it was way too much hard work to progress. I played through all dark souls and darkest dungeon, but this one broke my patience. Sad, because I really wanted to get to the bottom below.
The game looks great. I wish I could just play it instead of feeding my character and wiping his ass.
Great review, I personally hate the roguelike genre. But this game looks way to good to pass on it, will try it for sure!
Dropping the lantern mechanics is literally game breaking. If you die in an area that is already hard (like level 17-18) and lose it - you have to play it again being even harder. The game literally punishes you for exploration that supposed to be its core mechanics. Shame, it could have been a classics - ends up being something you'll dislike for wasting your time.
Your review doesn't do an honest job in showing how timewasting it gets later on - spending 45min to grind so that you can find the lantern to actually "play" the game is (as a design choice) disrespectful to your time.. I would say - get on Steam, try and refund it if you don't like it.
actually I found dropping the lantern floor 14-18 made the game easier because SPOILERS ***** the tenticles only attack you when you have the latern on you. just finished the game i around 16 hrs really enjoyed it, but i can see it may not be for everyone!
I guess if you ignore many of the games features, you may end up feeling cheated, like you.
you're reviews are honest keep it up
helpful, not quite what im after.
You failed to mention that on Xbox one the game constantly crashes and I personally experienced a section between floors 4-5
Shown in your video, the the screen would flash and change colours and big glitchy sprites and colours would fill the screen making me unable to see the game at all.....
Shortly followed by another crash of course....
Absolute waste of £20 what a joke
Im on ps4 and have had no issues at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@gusic5095 and how it's the game? Do you like it? Been eye it for a long time.
@@conraddash8686 now with explore mode it is fairly easier, still hard but easier than survival. If you want to pick it up I would recommend knowing the crafting system as i didnt know how to craft most things until hours after i was in the game.
@@adrienvelasquez7537 thx for the reply. But did you like it? Would you think is it worth de 25$?
I tried to play the game but… I couldn’t see anything so I quit
I beg to differ. Objectively speaking it is not a great game. It could have been. Actually it could have been "Game of decade" had the developers put fun in the formula there somewhere. You die and have to do everything again, only weaker and with zero payoff. Literally zero. You get nothing. You don't get stronger, you don't get better weapons, you don't get any buffs. The game just gets harder with nothing to counterbalance it. I got to level 9 and died. Why would I wanna go through all the hassle to get there again? Grind, and get there again only to die and repeat? Hades nailed it. Curse of the dead Gods got it. Enter the Gungeon, beat dungeon crawler ever, nailed it. This one, avoid it.
