I salute you, son. A great job done all by hands and not a single power tool used. You're hell of a man. They don't make like you anymore. This is from my 91 year old grandpa. He liked the video a lot! =)
I have 3 little girls coming in 2.5 weeks and I promised them a swing set, I stumbled upon your video and I am amazed at your love for old time woodworking practices, I am going to attempt to make this swing, it wont be as good as yours but it looks like fun and hopefully it will be safe for the girls, thanks for this video ill be looking for more
OUTSTANDING.. Wish I could do the same but I can't. I'll be using screws, circular saws and bolts. But, I did get some ideas about how to come up with the angles. Keep posting, THANKS.
loved the video a how to step by step video would be great some of us still appreciate old school craftsmanship.. would like to build this with my kids.. show them hard work pays off
I wish you had more videos (in general, not just over this build). I was looking for something just like this as I plan a swing set/play set for my kids.
Hey, great video. This is the exact style of swing I am going to make for my kids birthday. I love how good it looks. Just wondering, after you used the surform to clean up the sides, did you use anything else to finish it? Sand it or plane it? Or anything? I am just getting into woodworking and dont have any experience. I have a surform and just bought a new blade for it. I was testing it on some scrap wood before putting it on my 4x4's, and feel like it leaves a feathery and scratched up surface. Am I using it wrong? The scrap was wet so maybe that is the reason for the poor finish? Also what angle are the legs connected at? And once you fit the 4x6 in the top did you attach it in any way? And lastly are the legs attached or glued or anything or only friction fit? Thanks in advance and love the video.
I really liked your video and am going to build a swing set like yours, did you have to dig holes and put post in concrete ? or was it ok just set on ground. you did a great job. wish the video showed you putting the horizontal 2x4 in the 2 a-frames.
Very nicely done. Well crafted, cute idea, good music. Thank you.

Nice tune, what song is this Incase Shazam won't help. Yes, terrific work too ☺️
Content is good. The music was offensively not my flavor so I'm triggered. But I still gave it a like a comment
So good
Great work Brad! What did you seal your wood with?
Any link to the plans for this excellent design? Thanks!
What size boards did you use? I would love to build one for my son.
They were originally full size 4x8x10 that I ripped in half for the A-frame. The lateral pieces for the A-frames was a full size 2x4.
