Timber frame swingset
Просмотров 34 тыс.10 лет назад
This is a video documentary that captures my experience building a "timber-framed" style swing set from wood reclaimed off an old cedar patio.
still a nugget after 10 yrs thanks. Glad I found this one. Now that amazon is a real thing I can get the detergent delivered
It appears that an improvement can be made by using this video’s plumbing but just illuminate the left side valve to the tanks. Just stay with that one vertical valve. Water will take the path of least resistance.
It appears that you need an over flow path somewhere near the top of the upper tank or the water will backup and make a mess in your house anyway.
Thank you
Thanks for the great video! Love the plumbing setup and the info on biocompatibility. I do have a question though on your storage. Not sure about your jurisdiction but in a lot of places (Like Washington State) you can’t store grey water without a filtration/purification system, which tends to make legally storing grey water prohibitively expensive. I do plan on copying your gorgeous plumbing setup though!
DOES ANYONE HAVE A BIOCOMPATIBLE, EFFECTIVE LAUNDRY DETERGENT RECIPE?
Bad, bad, bad. Too many valves to turn, and no explanations were added to any of the comment questions. Also too much Bla, bla, bla . . . get to the facts jack.
Love the BIOCOMPATIBLE commentary. I use a stationary (utility) sink to collect laundry water in buckets. I get enough full buckets to flush the toilet with for most of a week.
I wanna install caster wheels on ibc tote give me a support which power tools should i use please reply to this !
How do I save bathtub water????
켈튼 방가워 비디오 잘보고 갑니다.
Any recommendations in southern ca
Can you reuse gray water if you filter it
Nothing in the drums to filter the water?
Great information, thank you! Sure appreciate you presenting that detergent too.
Wow, great video! Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Thanks so much for a clear description of how to do this. Hopefully I can all these parts in Canada.
This was SO helpful. We are getting ready to put in our own system. Thanks again!
I have the greatest portion of my project finished now for the washing machine water. It is going out to the yard. Now for the portion of the project to distributing the water through the rest of the yard is next. California is in another draught and this should be supported by the State.
This video is great! Just what I'm trying to set up with some slight alterations as I will have 2 -3 IBC totes. I went to the big box store trying to piece together the system only to leave after an hour of not being able to locate exactly what I needed to do this. I know its been a while based on the date of your video, but do you happen to remember the exact parts list that you used? I keep searching online and its a minefield trying to find something you don't know the exact name of. Thanks again. Cheers!
Content is good. The music was offensively not my flavor so I'm triggered. But I still gave it a like a comment
Wanted to know what are your thoughts on the detergent ECOS? It is a detergent sold at Costco. It meet the Safer Choice EPA safer product standards.
I want to add my thanks for sharing the well thought thru application of the piping along with your research of the detergent. It looks like you installed the valves so that they could easily be replaced as that particular valve is known for failing after a few years. Jesus bless you for your time and efforts.
In Arizona you cannot store grey water. You can only store rainwater. Your grey water must go directly on plants or n the sewer. Where do you purchase your Oasis soap.
Is it a legal mandate?
Great idea. I just wish it was easier to do this on a mobile home. California is in the middle of another draught.
Thanks! My old house has no drainage to the sewer and this is a great solution
Good information - thanks for the video.
This setup is wrong. You need a two way valve, not two valves that can cause a flood. You also need a vent. Look at the This Old House video.
thanks you dude! great info
I must say that you really explained the process in a way that I truly understood it. I have been watching several videos to be able to harvest rainwater and end up with more questions than answers. Thank you so much this video really helps.
Do you have a comprehensive list of supplies that you could share? Thanks
The best vedio... Thank you..
Woodprix scripts contain most of the woodworking plans you can find.
I loved to learn the difference between biodegradable and bio compatible!
I like it but it would be awesome for a novice such as my self to have seen a step by step with a label of the pieces you attached to each other to form the pipe system or a really good list of the pieces in order that connects with each other.
Alkaline or acidic?
Most detergents will result in the water being alkaline.
Thank you very much. I took the information from your video and went shopping at Lowe's and was able to set up my garden hose and stuff. I just ordered a pump from Harbor Freight. Thank you very much.
Both thumbs up for your very informative vídeo! I only wish more companies made bio-compatible detergents. The Oasis brand sets a good standard, though it's a bit expensive for me (I'd have to import it into my country).
I like the way you assembled the unit. Could you please list all the plumbing fixtures you used for this job.
you didn't find the need for an AAV on the line going out to the tanks? No concern about syphoning?
Great set up! Thank you
Very nicely done. Well crafted, cute idea, good music. Thank you.
Hi! Not sure if you're still replying to this video but I couldn't help but notice how CLEAN your plumbing job is! How did you get the pipe joints and adapters to not show glue? I like how it's not oozing out but has it stayed tight over the years? Thanks for the great inspiration.
I was expecting to see the system
Interested in...could you please give guide lines?
Cheers Mate usefull
Tks for the video. Your grey water collection reservoir are outside. In which climate do you live?
Nice system. however it looks like when the water goes to the holding tank it will create stagnant water at the T junction. I think this stagnant water is a problem or not?
Great system - the mulch also reduces garden moisture evaporation - I'll try my own setup - Australia is in drought still.
Im trying to come up with a grey water shower any ideas?
