Wow, you have something to be proud of Brad. I know the boy who you are doing this for will love it!. I have been collecting gear to do some crushed stone inlay my self. Keep up the great work. SawDusty
Awesome video series! Good information. I have a few projects I want to do inlay with turquoise. Your project turned out wonderful. By the way I live in Phoenix, AZ what is the name of the company you got the turquoise from. Thanks.
AWSOME VIDEO, I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU MIXED THE TURQUOISE IN THE EPOXY FIRST THEN POURED IT IN THE INLAY? I THINK IT WOULD ELIMINATE A LOT OF THE SURROUNDING WOOD GRAIN FROM BEING FILLED WITH EPOXY PLUS YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO CHISEL A BUNCH OF WASTE FROM THE TOP. GREAT JOB THOUGH I'M SURE YOUR CUSTOMER IS PUMPED. THANKS FOR SHARING THE VIDEO.
켈튼 방가워 비디오 잘보고 갑니다.

Nice. I really like that look. I have the turquoise but was wanting to know what you used for glue or epoxy?
Thin CA glue
Got to say, that turned out looking pretty cool
Whats the turquoise stuff and where do I get it?

Thanks for watching! I bought the turquoise from a shop called 49erMinerals on Etsy. They're based out of Scottsdale, I believe.
Why not use that festool router to level off the inlay??

Really nice but I would have used a darker wood personally. Would have made the characters pop!
Great music
Doesn't the CA glue absorb into the wood and make it hard to get an even stain finish?
Is the epoxy flexible…would it stay in a skateboard flexing?
Instead of the CA glue use an appropriate epoxy and epoxy the whole board with same epoxy…. that SHOULD work, but only one way to prove it….
What about using resin insted?
What glue do you use?
cool!
where did you get your torquoise from?
CA glue?
what is the name of this material used?
what was the binder used??
How do I get one
great job, but what type of wood did you use?
What size router bit are you using? It's hard to tell but I'd say 1/16 inch?
Less music, more explanation would help a lot....pattern transfer? product? Glue?
Awesome video, And i liked the music ;-)
What adhesive did you use?
Awesome video, crap music that is way too loud, but nice work.
Yeah that song was terrible.
For those who think this should be hung over a 7-11 store.... The sign says: KELTON in Korean.
What router are you using?
very cool!
'켈톤' with the 'o' sound
정말 아름 답군요 ~~! 켈튼~~~!
Translation reads: It is really beautiful ~ ~! Kelton ~~~! (Kelton is what the inlay says, it is a name)
Good project, but don't force your music on our ears please!
켈튼 ㅋㅋ
A Korean kid named Kelton?
I was wondering. But then wouldn't they want to spell it with "o" ?
Maybe Dave military family.... :/
