Do a search on RUclips for "Glass fill epoxy table top". It's a 5 or 6 part series but you will see what I mean in any of them. You method is def good also and I plan on trying it. I just thought I would mention the epoxy resin in case you haven't tried it before.

I'm getting a bit creative on some hiking staffs I'm working on and want to try some chip turquoise inlay. On the voids I'm going to try using brass dust ( from filing so it's a little coarser) instead of turquoise. I threw together a small test piece in the last couple of nights and it looks like it's going to come out pretty cool.

Brad, when ordering, did you select Standard or Coarse turquoise? Thanks

Where do you get the bag of turquoise?

Why not use epoxy resin instead of the super glue? It would save you a bunch of steps and you would also have a beautiful glass like finish.
