  • Keeway v-cruise 125 review. This is the 125cc motorcycle you should buy! Keeway have definitely taken things up a notch with this motorcycle. It has become my favourite 125cc bike. It’s just that good.
    If you want one then follow the link to ‪@in2moto480‬ they are based in Warrington, Cheshire but they can arrange for the bike to be delivered if you live outside the area.

    This review is absolutely on point! I just got one of these in Portugal as my first bike, and it has been a bliss learning to ride on it! I was confortable riding alone on the road after a few sessions of training by myself! The bike hasn't failed me once, it's super soft on the shifting, it's suprisingly strong on the gears, i have not yet let it "die", even when i was sure it was gonna die on some occasions, the bike held it's ground. I've also never dropped it because my feet are straight on the floor. It's super stable to ride, it's stable on curves, it's nicely visible in terms of lights (breaks, front lights, turn signals) and also in terms of being quite robust for a 125. So i think it's easier for cars to see me. Honestly it has everything i was searching for. I hadn't bought a 125 yet because i didn't like the typical 125's on the market, i wanted to learn to ride on the safest option, and aesthetics were also a condition for me 🤣. The issue is, as he said, it's a bit expensive , in Portugal you'll pay around 5100 euros for a brand new one. I got a bit less because i managed to get it seconhand with little more of 3000km on it (the first owner didn't adjust very well to the bike). But honestly i think it's more important to think about your safety than money if you're planning on getting a bike. I've seen friends getting cheaper light weight bikes like the Bullit Spirit 125, and they ended up falling alot, sometimes because the bike didn't held itself for their level of skill. Meanwhile i've ridden mine in the rain (accidently i didn't know it was gonna rain😅), as well as through really strong winds, and i was amazed by it's stability. I trully think that this bike is amazing for both learners and riders! So far worth every penny and i don't regret my decision, but i know i probably only got it because it was a secondhand, so a bit cheaper. If you have the financial capacity, do it!

      Boas! Foi a tua primeira experiência a conduzir moto por completo ou tinhas tido aulas antes? Falo porque penso comprar uma 125cc antes de tirar Carta A então terei literalmente de aprender por mim próprio. Isso é mais um fator super importante na compra da mota e como disseste há mais barato (sempre aconselhável e inteligente ainda mais com a crise que anda ai) mas nada compensa mais que segurança e uma boa mota! Sendo assim aconselhas a quem queira começar agora apesar da relação preço/qualidade? A mota é linda demais e parece super confortável!

    Just want to say thanks for the review and all the great comments on here. I've just got back from the dealer and will be picking up my new V-Cruise in 5 days time and I can't wait. I'm from the UK but have lived over here in Spain, near Malaga, for 6 years. Was never into bikes in England, although I was part way through learning when we left, and I absolutely love riding now. We can ride a 125 here on a car licence without plates and as the bike tests are the only ones here that have to be taken in Spanish (nobody can tell me why that is and my written Spanish is still a work in progress) I'm hoping this bike will satisfy my needs. I had an old (failing) Kawasaki Eliminator before this and I can't wait to get out on the great (and quiet) roads here. With the current exchange rate at 1.17 I paid a few quid over £4000 here, brand new, all in!

    Four and a half grand for a 125cc bike is very expensive for a budget bike. I have a Royal Enfield Meteor in supernova trim and that was just over four grand for a 350 and it is a lot of bike for the money. I am very satisfied with my purchase and it compliments my RE Classic 500 which by the way was a similar price to the 125 you have there.

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  9 месяцев назад +3

      I do understand that it’s not cheap in comparison to other cheap bikes. The RKV from keeway is £1000 cheaper and the Superlight is £2000 cheaper. But I think that is the point Keeway are making with this bike. I don’t think it’s a Budget bike. I think it’s Keeway upping there game and making a more premium bike. The Royal Enfields are brilliant. All of their 350’s are unbelievable value as are their bigger bikes.

    That said,such a Learner would probably want to progress onto something bigger,and I reckon that the Trade-in price for the Keeway will halve in a year!
    The only way it makes sense to buy one is as a Keeper,and then I wonder about the mechanical stamina of the bike.

      This is no ordinary Keeway. It’s much better than anything else they have ever made. It’s a 125 so is a learner bike but I think it is cool enough to entice experienced riders that are looking for either a lighter bike or a bike thats going to do 130mpg. So a massive saving on fuel. @@GillyBikes The equivalent of a cheap counterfeit Gucci off a street vendor in New York City. A tiny displacement Chinese knock-off of Harley-Davidson styling. Right down to the shape of the air filter cover.
      It's made to "look like" a proper "cruiser" that'll roll on the highway at 75mph, but it's too big for its britches on that score. So it's rather a poser bike. The Honda Trail won't cruise at 75mph hour either, but neither is it trying to project the image that it can do that.
      There isn't the slightest amount of originality to this bike. The 100% black without a shred of color accent or chrome plating is also awful.
      Also because if it's built to a quality level like any Chinese tool I've ever used, it's constructed out of poor quality, brittle or unhardened metals that'll be quick to break, warp, and strip. Trust me, it isn't sold at a "cheap" price for no reason. Fort Nine did a video of the manufacturing debris and dirt found inside "new" Chinese engines, and it's literally off the chart.
