Nice review bro! I just got the 16" M4 Max MacBook Pro (16-16-40, 48 Unified Memory, Nano-Tech). I won't be traveling with it, ONLY if I have to. I'll be doing most of my travels with my M4 iPad 13."
A friend who is a musician chose the 14-inch MacBook Pro because he travels a lot. I opted for the 16-inch MacBook. My friend regretted it afterwards, he realized that the 14-inch display was a bit too small to display the software he uses completely without having to scroll. The size of the 16-inch display is simply perfect.
I used to have to squint a little or get next to the screen when making RUclips shorts , now I can see the screen perfectly fine with the 16 inch so I get what you’re saying haha

Hey Langel, I just wanted to say how much I truly appreciate the video-you’ve definitely gained a new subscriber! What stood out most to me was the genuine realism in your talk. I could really feel the sincerity behind what you were saying. With some of the bigger RUclipsrs, their reviews can sometimes get a bit clouded by focusing on broader points, but you hit exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciated how you showed that this product isn’t just for pros or people who know every single component inside and out-it can work for anyone. Honestly, I’ll probably never use 24GB of power, but it’s comforting to know that if I ever need it, I won’t struggle because I’ve already got it! Thanks again for such a thoughtful and relatable review!
@@paulortiz6055 You’re Welcome ! Thanks for helping me see in a different point of view ! I agree , sometimes it gets boring watching those bigger RUclipsrs because they all kind of say the same thing .

Yes if you don't want to attach external monitor or don't travel much then 16inch is perfect. Otherwise 14inch is also not a bad choice. 14inch also feels premium 😅.
@@zeeshan4341 I’m not sure if it feels premium it’s pretty lightweight haha jk but hey I’ve been with the 16 inch for a while now and after a while it feels regular and the 14 inch feels tiny pretty crazy
Your RAM story is interesting. I have the M4 16" and I did a stress test where I had a video 4K video edit going in FCP with a bunch of effects piled on, a multi layer edit of a 45 MP picture in On1 Photo Raw (which is a RAM hog), Safari open with 20 tabs open, a 4K video playing in Apple TV, Music playing in the Music app and a bunch of my regular day job things open like Mail, Calendar, PDF Expert, Notes, Numbers, Finder. The M4 Pro 16" (24 GB) got to 60% memory pressure with a couple of gigs of swap and the lowest I ever saw the ram drop to was 5 GB. No freeze ups and everything running as smooth as butter. I wonder if it's a software optimization issue you're experiencing. That can happen with newer chips. Software might not have caught up yet.
@@langeldonao Oh, and I agree with you, this is my 3rd M chip and by far my favorite. Had the a 16", tried a 14" for a year and now back to the 16". Missed that big beautiful screen! You enjoy!
