I love that you gave that mat to him. Can’t get many plastic bags here anymore (used to repurpose them for garbage bags) but maybe someday I’ll have enough. Creek, you and Sarah are very special.
"Tents are for amateurs." HAHAHAHA I love it!! Some of my best nights camping have been in the middle of a brush pile. BTW it was her mat...hahaha. Thanks for sharing the mat and that food with someone in need Creek. You two are good eggs. My wife and I started camping as a family over 40 years ago...started out sleeping on the ground, kids came along and we moved to a big family sized tent, then did 30 years in the Boy Scouts sleeping in tents, debris shelters, brush piles, or just wrapped up in a tarp. We're Firecrafters too...now my boys have boys and girls and we love to go camping and doing anything in the outdoors. More fun than video games. God bless you and yours, and have a Merry Christmas!

My wife made me one of those sleeping mats about 4 years ago. Mine's multicolored though not just one color. If you think it's hard thinking of a present after 10 years just wait till after 40.

I haven’t searched,but I remember a lady that did make plarn mats and donated them to the homeless.
Seems like it was down South.. possibly Texas or Louisiana… it has been many many years ago since I saw it.

I have made a couple of those mats in a arts and crafts group to give to the homeless. I am again accumulating bags to make another one. Thank you for all you do. I wish I had the money to get all of your products, but until my book sales pick up, hopefully, I will take full advantage of these videos. Thank you again.

Very cool Creek we just celebrated 11 last month. Love that mat. Everything tastes better from the Fire. -40 with wind-chill this week won't be any camping out soon but might try to put out a flint and Steel video. Great what you did giving that to homeless. Merry Christmas to you and your family

Creek Man you guys are just amazing and inspiring. So many thoughts you had here hit home for me like the cooking and feeding the homeless, everyone is one bad experience away from being homeless no matter how we have been brought up. I always wanted to start a movement with creating a series of tech school farm campuses in every state that can house feed and create opportunities for the homeless and get them back on their feet, if ever I have that opportunity I will attempt it, no human should be hungry or homeless. That being said you guys are amazing so cool and down to earth really really enjoyed this so much! Great work

So I am wondering how it is that you are surprised that your gift was used by your wife to stay comfortable and you, not making it big enough for two people, made you feel the need to tell her she hogged it when she was using it like a normal person whom it was given. That was your bad call for not bringing something more for yourself if you ask me. I really am surprised she didn't tell you to hush Creek lol. If I didn't know any better I would have thought you were testing her to see if she would put up with your shenanigans. She really is incredible and her skills she has forged comes from her hard work and love for you and your work.
How come there isn’t more aapoco box reviews you need to start give them away or something because there’s always that one guy who doesn’t now I think you’re one of the better box services I’ve had it for about 2 3 years now I just don’t think you’re getting enough promotion out there what happened to that guy who used to throw knives with the balance testing thing he’s still making videos I don’t see any of your boxes maybe send him some it’s just a thought but you need to promote Maybe a contest and give away a box or something I don’t know

I love your heart but question the results. It's called enabling. Better to donate these items to shelters and organizations that are trying to get those poor SOB's OFF the streets, not keep them there.
