Such a great episode - these boys will never forget this and it will be an inspiration to them for years to come. Exodus 14:14 - an excellent verse to ground them in the days ahead. What a blessing to watch - the Jacobs family is a great family and this is a fitting tribute to the memory of their Dad.

❤ I love this video. As Jacob Marley from the Christmas Carol said “Mankind is my business” and you live up to that. What a wonderful message you send to your children about caring for others and using your God given gifts to help others. Your servant heart shines through. I send you many blessings for you and your family.

When life gives us second chances, we make the most of it by paying it forward and showing others the love, grace, mercy we've so graciously received. Great testimony, Creek, of living life intentionally with purpose and on mission. God bless you, brother! I'm so incredibly proud of you living your faith on your sleeve and the work God is inspiring through you in this new chapter of your life with Sarah and the kids. Inspiring stuff!

I've been enjoying this series so far. Much respect to Creek and his family not only for having the courage to follow their dreams, but for also sharing their adventure. Although I'm not a person of faith, I respect those who live their faith and put positivity into the world.
My heart goes out to these boys, I'm sure this adventure means the world to them. We're in need of dads who are good, and present. High five to all the dads out there, and a big hug for those who've lost their dads.

Creek, I met you at the first Uitwaaien. I wasn't sure what kind of person you would be. Some people you meet that are a TV personality are just a bit full of themselves, like the only reason you're here is to see me kinda thing. But when I was watching you with the kids at the gathering, helping and teaching them until they were sucessful. That said a lot to me about the kind of person you are. This video just further proves that my thoughts on you are correct. I could tell this was an emotional reunion for all involved. I am a father of three amazing children that I take out to the woods as much as I can. I know how important being in the forest is and so did these boy's father. May he rest in peace and may God bless his family. Thank you for this video I really enjoyed it. God bless you and your family Creek, thank you.

Of ALL the things I have watched you do, THIS was one of the most Powerful examples of passing-it-on!
I had very Strong male role models throughout my years in Scouts. My first attempt at a "flint and steel" (real flintrock) was unsuccessful at sparking the tinder on a cold, damp Oregon coast night. I came home from that Summer Camp experience determined to Start A Fire under controlled conditions.
That was 40 plus years ago, and being able to teach the youth "life skills" such as this is reward in itself!
    God Bless you Creek.

You need to add deep, rolling thunder to your intro audio along with the crow cawing. That would emphasize the "thunder crow" image. :) Just a humble suggestion.
...and OMG that was my next door neighbor's house where you pulled down the hornets nest! My wife spied you filming and I peeked out side but didn't want to disrupt the process. Sarah waved, though. Good bit and now I can razz my neighbors about it.
    😆
Good stuff, especially with the sons. Please keep up the great work.
