Excellent video, thanks for sharing. I do agree with some of the comments below; it would be great to have the camera mounted a little higher so we can see the road and display both. Also, having the road and display in focus would be incredible! Great job nonetheless!
@ 05:35 - there is also a tollway down around San Antonio, where the speed limit is 85 mph: The fastest speed limit in the United States is 85 miles per hour (137 kilometers per hour) on a stretch of Texas State Highway 130, also known as Pickle Highway. This toll road runs for about 41 miles between Austin and Seguin, bypassing the Austin metropolitan area and passing through towns like Lockhart, Mendoza, and Mustang Ridge. The Texas Transportation Commission can raise the speed limit to 85 miles per hour if they deem the highway safe and reasonable after an engineering or traffic study.
Dallas here. So my husband is getting a Y and he’s sooo excited about the FSD, and I’m basically terrified of him using it around here. This video helped calm me down a little. Still concerned about how other drivers are going to react if the car is too slow or hesitant. People get angry here quick
If the car isn’t accelerating enough you can always press the pedal to accelerate. I’ve had to use it a few times switching lanes, other than that it’s been great!
Not to criticize, but just wanted to point out that traffic wise that has to be possibly the least amount of traffic with the nicest drivers for a city that size, anywhere on earth.
I'm trying my 30-day free trial FSD and so far about 200 miles with zero interventions. Only thing I don't like is it approaches intersections a little bit hot 🔥 for my taste but I haven't had to intervene. Thank you
Just stumbled across you on X and saw you also have an FSD channel! Subscribed. I have the same car but I wish I had FSD from the US as well. Here in germany my "FSD" is not the same at all. Even navigate on AP is only working so la la. Gotta be more patient.
wow you look very much like the female version of myself. glad to see lot's of "newbies" start to experiment with FSD and generally positive experiences. I think we're only a few months away from something good enough for a robotaxi at this rate, if they can solve for parking at the end lol
Biggest problem currently with FSD is the car uses surface street speed limit on the ramp onto the freeway. At the end of the ramp, at the merge, the car has to catch up. Fortunately that’s easy for an EV.
Sarah is cute and purrfessional and the equipment she's using to make the video is meowsome, too! I wish I had a mew Teasla 3 Highland, but I live in the lowlands of Switzerland, and I only work part-time. =D Greetings from Winterthur. ^^
The biggest challenge for FSD acceptance (aside from regulatory pressure) is the driver's ability to accept that it will, probably in many cases, not react as each driver would 100%. The key needs to be did it navigate without intervention, and did it operate safely with no harm to self or others. If it can do that, SCORE! Could it get safely from point A to B with the driver asleep? If so SCORE! It will be YEARS (if ever) before FSD will be able to replicate ever driver's unique nuances (especially if a driver is violating any laws (ie speeding, rolling stops, etc). This biggest learning for TESLA with FSD is how many humans drivers violate laws when driving. If you create FSD that is 100% legal to all traffic laws, you piss off 99% of all human drivers LOL!
Have you tried 85 on a trip? I noticed I get better range at 70 then 65 which defies physics but maybe it's a sweet spot? Who knows. I live on the east coast so you can't really run over 70 very far. I'm curious what your range would be at 85. Thank you
I love the footage. do you mind sharing your camera information? which camera and lens you used to shoot the tesla screen? did you use any software stabilization? and which camera to capture you? thanks nice video

The merging with the truck at 1:56 was a big bad on your part if I'm honest. You absolutely should've intervened there. I haven't been in the BETA for too long, I got in mid 2022, and can say older versions probably would've got in an accident there, especially back before v11 when the highway stack was still the old Navigate on Autopilot system
So I am reluctant to criticize anyone when they’re doing a review of a product, but I particularly did not like the way your camera work blurred everything beyond the UI screen. That was very hard to watch. So I would recommend you changing your camera focus, and not appearing so much on camera when you’re doing the review, I mean, you’re driving, the focus shouldn’t be on you, but on the car don’t cha think? So I would think you want the people to be focused on what the car is doing, and not just be focused continuously on you, and the UI screen, and so seeing outside the windshield makes for a much cleaner/clearer presentation of what the car is doing in relationship to the surrounding traffic. So I thought you did a good review, and I would encourage you to keep posting videos. Cheers 🥂
