EV button is just for driving at slow speeds in EV mode. They sell it saying you can drive in your neighborhood and make less noise or drive in enclosed areas like car garages and and you don't have any exhaust. Only when the battery is adequately charged and they say it will go for 0.8 of a mile maximum in EV mode.
I recently bought it and love it. As Asian, crown model is very familiar to me.
Go ahead and get yourself one, then put your touch on it. Call it the Majestic Nitro! It won't make you any less of a Tundra guy!
