This is a solid upgrade for urban Subaru Outback people who are sick of the *terrible mileage* despite the aggravating CVT. Comparing a loaded Crown Signia Limited to loaded Outback Touring XT - the Toyota will MSRP at about $5K to $5.5K more. If you drive a lot, you can make up that difference in gas savings alone. Subaru quality ain't what it was in the 2000s either.
@@man_imbored171 I got my 2022 Outback for around $31k out the door optioned how I wanted it. Subaru offers the VIP program which is a coupon for 2% below invoice. Best car I've ever owned. It's not the base model either.

@@skenzyme81 no one builds a wagon under 60k. The are other crossovers and mpv that outperform the outback and are more reliable than trh outback for less. Peoe like the outback for the brand image, but they are not reliable long term and the AWD cannot even drive the rear without the front slipping with the ats system the cvt uses. Some people insist on calling the outback a wagon. It never was. It was based ona the exciga Van when it became its own model in 2010.
Being a big guy, I can't stand it when midsize crossovers and SUVs squeeze in that third row. It inevitably compromises front row space a little and middle row space A LOT. No thank you!
exactly! the lack of a 3rd row in this Crown is a Good thing! And while getting over 40mph highway in a vehicle this luxurious and roomy will make it ideal for road trips for a lot of buyers, the high price will likely be saved in gas money within 2 or 3 years of owning it. this is a vehicle for buyers looking for something new to own long term.
You definitely missed quite a few things about this car. It has zero bespoke parts, quality proven electric motors, old school batteries, build quality of suspension, a few other things. I think its a perfect "Toyota" car built to last. They even put nice plastic caps on bolts for the suspension, they painted parts underneath that you wouldn't ever see just to protect them as an example. The levers you pull to drop the back seats down, you can pull them further back and quickly and they kick the seats down for you, so you don't have to reach. There are some other details you miss about the engine design improvements, the lexus hood release mechanism, that pops the hood should you rear end someone to prevent it from being damaged. Its a great wagon. I am very interested in this car, 42 married, no kids, the space in the back is perfect for bikes, hiking gear, trips to Costco, home depot for DIY projects. Without having to have a monster SUV or a truck. I think there is definitely a segment for this car. Been looking at cars/trucks/crossovers for about 1 year, but the cost of vehicles is just insane, so haven't bought anything. Still driving 2012 Camry, and 2004 Beetle, and doing Sound and vibration dampening materials, replacing old headliners, upgrading sound systems on the old cars to improve their driving experience, waiting for Car prices to fall. This car is way to expensive, but so is the entire market.
This is the first semi negative review I have seen. Every other reviewer I have watched has loved this vehicle. They think it’s a fantastic vehicle that has Lexus quality for a Toyota price. If you watch the car care nut he reviewed this car and couldn’t say enough nice things about it and that’s not usually his game.
I wish it had more ground clearance. The only other drawback for me is that it’s almost too nice and the interior to track dirt into it on various outdoor trips. I am probably going to end up getting a Subaru.
I like the way it looks, and honestly, my local dealership has both Lexus and Toyota, I think this has a cleaner look and nicer interior than most Lexus models around the same price point. I could see the Crown Signia taking away some Lexus sales.
I feel like Toyota is focusing more on their Toyota brand than Lexus. If only they were equally as brave with design and innovation on the Lexus end 😢.

A friendly reminder that Doug used to own a Kia Stinger for 1 year, in which he gave a very good review but the car FLOPPED in sales. So I wouldn't diss the Crown Signia just yet - older people want the Avalon style car without having to climb high up like with the crossovers.
The Lexus-like interior and grill is no accident. This is for people who want a more luxurious experience without worrying about giving certain individuals the impression you have money, because to non-car people you’re just driving a Toyota.
And this is totally why people like myself might buy this car. Certain family members already hate me for being upper middle class, They would hate me more driving a Lexus or Mercedes.
Also a benefit is that a Toyota dealership can do warranty work. This is the main reason my parents bought one as they don’t have a Lexus dealership in their town.
@@andyleo8418 I meant size wise I was surprised the exterior dimensions on new accord is identical to the outgoing Avalon. That’s why I got a 2025 Camry, I didn’t want a car that’s too big

This car is perfect for my dad. He doesn’t care about “sportiness” or performance, or styling all that much. He just wants a nice, comfortable, fairly luxurious car but doesn’t want to spend the extra money to get a Lexus. He drove V6 Camrys for 25 years and when he wanted something nicer, he bought a Venza. When the time comes, this’ll probably replace his Venza.
@@jasperordrup The Venza definitely feels like a step up compared to the Camry. (both physically and metaphorically haha). The Venza is quieter and feels smoother riding compared to the Camrys we had. The Venza feels like an Avalon SUV while the RAV4 feels more like a Camry SUV if you know what I mean. Funny thing is, our first choice was originally a RAV4 Prime, but all the dealers in my area were either charging thousands over MSRP or had 2 year long waiting lists for the Prime at the time, so we went with the Venza instead.
@NickM-qi4sq I didn't know that! Thanks for sharing this. But isn't the engine in the Venza smaller than in the Camry? When I talk about the RAV4 I only talk about the PHEV version.
It’s really too expensive though. At this price as a Lexus it makes sense. Surely they could have done it for $40 instead of the $50k dealers are actually charging. At that price I’m looking at used Mercedes. It’s a shame because it’s nearly a perfect car for older couples (more power baby!).
I’m a single guy in his 50’s. I have had the sports car and have a suv for bad weather and mtn biking. I love the AWD and hybrid setup with the wagon space for bike and skis.
@@mtnmann72 the only drawback I see to the crown signia for an all-wheel-drive car is the lack of ground clearance. Otherwise, I would be all over this.
Doug, you’re underestimating the amount of grandparents that intentionally don’t want more seats so that they have a good excuse not to drive the grandkids around.
I just think that auto journalists obsessing with bigger screens in cars is rather annoying to me. They could distract you from driving and could cause car accidents. This has happened many many times before.
As someone in a Subaru Impreza. Thinking about getting an Outback. But waiting for the redesign next year. I feel like this is a serious competitor. I am also a fan that Toyota is sticking to physical climate control buttons. Instead of putting it in the screen.
Stay away from boxer engines. My biggest regret, because they burn oil. Think about it the pistons are moving horizontally. theres going to be uneven wear of Piston rings.
Doug, I don't think you understand the point of the Crown. Japan introduced the new Crown series which included 4 cars, and so far we have 2. It is aimed to be the highest level experience of Toyota before going into Lexus hence the higher quality and driving experience. You are right, the Crown Signia is classified as estate everywhere but North America lol. Toyota says the Signia should fuse the estate feeling with the SUV, hence it is higher than normal estate but lower than an SUV. The crown we have which classified as Sedan...is actually a crossover, lifted sedan and they means to mix the feeling of a sedan with higher of a crossover. There is still the Crown Sport which is a small SUV with performance and Crown Sedan which is the most expensive but luxurious. The whole announcement of the car translated on RUclips. Hope this helps and thank you
I had my eye on the Crown Estate the day the Crown line was revealed in July 2022 but I never expected it to reach our market. Hopefully the Signia can survive this tepid review. 😉
The official body type for the Crown Signia is "Wagon". 😉 I purchased mine and the first road trip was from Martinsburg, WV to Mystic, CT. I drove no more than 5 MPH over the speed limit and the fuel economy for the trip was 40 MPG. It's a dream to drive.
9:12 if you look in the mirror you can tell this video was filmed a few months ago because there’s the Canadian E34 5-Series that sold on CARS AND BIDS.
I have been enthusiastic about this car since the global announcement of the new Crown line in July 2022. I think it was a smart decision for Toyota to bring some upscale competition for the Outback to our market. With realistic pricing, sales targets matched to supply and steady marketing, they could fill a niche very successfully.
Doug, there is something that you really just do not understand. The ELDERLY people will NOT buy a Highlander or any other TALL crossover/SUV because INGRESS and EGRESS are too difficult. Short people as well want something lower to the ground. This WAGON is a very smart design and a smart choice for many people regardless of price. Toyota knows this. IMHO the reason the Venza didn't sell better is because every single one of them that .. I .. saw had a black interior. Many people do not want a black interior especially at higher price points. I don't.
Good review. I have a '25 signia limited and love it. It is lacking most attributes found in real SUVs/cross overs and is a bit pricy so not a good pick for everyone. I find it is a simple dependable station wagon with comfortable luxury and wonderful gas milage. Too bad Toyota has called it an SUV in the US. I think it is a more an upscale Camry wagon competing with small luxury wagons like Volvo and BMW with less cost of ownership not trying to compete with real SUVs or the more mundane Subaru or VW. And around town I am getting gas milage in the low 40s!
I have a Crown sedan and my god is the car amazing. Drives so smooth and I'm hitting almost 48mpgs consistently. It definitely should have been a lexus or at least had the crown symbol since they kept it as a toyota. Thoroughly impressed with the car. This is just a bigger version of it and that's very cool for the people who want more room. I'm a crown driver for life now!
As a single child family, I like this thing to replace my wife's Outback in the future. The one thing I would miss are the Outback roof rails for a roof bag when roadtripping wi 22:39 th the whole family. That said, the new hybrid CX-50 or a hybrid Outback would probably make this redundant for less money.
This car is literally perfect for my mom, she wants a Lexus NX 350h but she doesn’t want to be seen driving a Lexus, and both of her kids are in college…
imho, as a V60 owner, a key selling point of a wagon is easy roof access. the crown signia doesn't tick that box for me. and the outback hasn't been a wagon since the mid-2000's, anyone who thinks otherwise has clearly never tried getting a kayak on top of one. I see two problems with the crown signia. 1. I think there would be plenty of ppl who'd be happy to not have a 3rd row of seats, if it meant more sub-floor storage and a spare tire. As a canadian, our subfloor has like 3 winter coats, a sleeping bag or two, and a bunch of other emergency stuff, that hasn't seen daylight since the day they were put there. The crown signia doesn't have any space for any of that. 2. the golf sportwagen/alltrack died in 2019. the current entry point for ppl wanting a proper wagon in north america with a warranty, is the A4 allroad or V60 Cross country, both of which burn premium, and start at basically 50k. I think there's a market to be tapped, in offering a proper wagon at substantially less... but the signia isn't enough of a wagon, and it's not enough of a discount. I'd bet that most ppl who could live with a crown signia, ultimately buy CX-50s instead.
This is what we need. Crossovers were cool when they started as a "cross" between an wagon and SUV. Now we need a "cross" between a wagon and, well, a crossover. If that's what will keep wagons and sedans sort of alive, then I'll take it.
I want this car. The RAV4 is a dime a dozen and the Highlander is too much vehicle for what I need. Btw, I’m looking to replace my first gen Venza and this looks like the best fit. And I’m sure I’m not alone here.
@@dollarn9ne I guess that’s why a spare tire is a must for me. I’ve had to use mine several times. I am PUMPED about this new car. I have a 2010 Venza and was extremely disappointed when toyota re-released the venza, it was smtoo small, not luxurious and yuck. I thought the Crown might be the new Venza, it wasn't. And now... Crown signia. I'm down!! I will be paying 45k, I haven't found a car like my venza since.. And I'm currently driving a 2020 Lexus RC. Woo hoo!! I'm on the smaller side, so the wide seats, arm rests, the way I kind of slide in.. I cant wait! 🎉
I see it as being a big seller. It fits more in the market between Toyota and Lexus; a less expensive NX / RX alternative. There are a lot of people out there that don't want a full SUV (Highlander) but want more practicality than a sedan.
In Japan they still have a *proper* Crown sedan, long and low, not like the one that is in North America. Ours is like a weird lifted sedan, and now this wagon trying not to be a wagon. I'll continue to enjoy my '03 Crown wagon though.
10:38: Heated windshield: You make it sound like that’s a new feature. My 2006 Hyundai Tucson had that option. As does my 2011 Kia Forte. It works great in the winter and should be a standard feature just like the rear window defroster that is standard on just about all cars today.
Perfect car for my dad. Just looking for something comfortable, luxurious, reliable, and something that's big enough to take on cross country road trips to national parks. This is like a luxury Outback, which is exactly what he needs, plus it gets insane fuel economy.
Here in Japan is classified as a station wagon and the “Venza” is called Harrier here and the Harrier is so popular that I doubt it would be cancelled here
In Japan its estate same as wagon as you said. And yes Harrier sells so well. Both cars are great. I wonder what Americans truly want. Those two cars are amazing.
I like this car, it has similar luxuries and features compared to lexus rx, but for far less money just because it has a "Toyota" logo rather than a "lexus" logo. I don't care about logos and what other people think, I just care about my own wallet and my own experience. It is definitely on my shoppoing list along with Cadillac Lyriq, which is basically my ev option
it's a Lexus with Toyota badging and it's perfectly priced for the quality it has. This is a car that will never break down. I think you're overestimating the amount of people who want a third row. I will never need more than 5 seats in any vehicle.
I'm looking to help my mom replace her base 2018 rav4 and this might be perfect. It can potentially tow a (very) small boat, she doesn't need the seats, it's efficient, it's much nicer. Makes a lot of sense especially since she doesn't want a large suv either
As a gen 1 venza owner, I want one. Wagon with luxury interior but toyota reliability. But they should have made it a PHEV, and it would have been more price competitive if it was a phev. The highlander feels like a large SUV with upright truck seating. I'm a parent and I've never wanted a 3rd row.
Good to know that Toyota has so many SUVs in US. Here in India they are basically rebadging and selling Maruti Suzuki cars for lower priced models and have stopped innovating at the premium Segment and stuck to same Innova and Fortuner which are honestly outdated and highly overpriced. Infact the Fortuner is more expensive than an entry level BMW or a Mercedes, priced at 60 Lakhs Indian Rupees-On Road Price. Would love to know @Doug's thoughts on this..
They're cannibalizing their own sales. It's funny how Toyota blamed the prius's flop on EVs and came out with a redesign when in reality it's their own hybrid lineup responsible for this.
To be fair, a lot of them are the same car with a different body style or engine. The Camry and Camry Hybrid are distinct. The Corolla hatchback is distinct from the Corolla sedan is distinct from the GR Corolla. The Prius Prime is distinct from the Prius. The hybrid trucks are separated from the non-hybrid trucks on the trucks tab despite being the same vehicle. You get the idea.
I did not like these when I saw one in person, as I was purchasing a 24 Tacoma. But I still get them and why some folks would want one. They are fairly practical looking. There's just sooooo many options in this segment.
Doug is the type of guy who goes to Boston to see a Kansas concert and Kansas to see a Boston concert. His favorite song is "More than a feeling is just dust in the wind".
What you're missing in your review is the fact that many of the parts and trims are shared with Lexus. You pay for Toyota, but you get 90% Lexus. It's also assembled in Japan. Top notch craftsmanship.
If I were in the market for a new car today, this would be at the top of my list. I really like it. It would be great if the 3.5 V6 were still an option.
Or even if the 2.0L turbo-4 from the Highlander which give it a performance edge. I think they should release that as an option at a lower price instead of just keeping this a hybrid
The Crown Signia is EXACTLY what I want. A Wagon version of a sedan. I like it a lot, except for it's price. With that, I'll probably just go the Camry route, since I want to be under 40k.
Venza (Harrier in Asia) was selling very well in Toronto until late 2022 because Japan didn't shipped us enough units. Subsequently, many customers cancelled their deals because of extreme long waiting time. There were thousands of orders not fulfilled. Venza was better than RAV4 Hybrid for just a few thousands dollars more. Crown Signia is not a replacement at all. This SUV is part of the Crown lineup.
I think they could’ve skipped this altogether and made a Camry wagon instead. This will be canceled within 5 years just like the Venza’s before it. Is America not burned out with all of these CUVs (copycat uplifted vehicles) and SUVs (soulless “utility” vehicles) yet? 🙄
Real SUV’s are great, crossovers have their purpose…which is to fill in for the lack of wagons because the American consumer has been brainwashed to buy a crossover because they think they might hit a dirt trail somewhere
@@frankmagana1408I can only see SUVs and CUVs in my future. I have had a Camry and Honda Fit and frankly don't understand why cars like that are so low to the ground. The handling was neat. But I'm stuck in traffic and going the speed limit. Handling isn't a good selling point. The cars were so low and easy to damage. Americans will own cars for years and put tens of thousands of miles in them. Eventually we come across bad roads. I can't even get up drive ways or clear curbs at times. Roads inclining and declining suddenly is common and the cars are simply not made for the vast majority of roads. Even basic offroading in gravel can be too much. And you can damage the undercarriage.I'm not going hardcore offroading. But modern sedans and cars have lost the plot. Look at older sedans from the 80s all the way to the 1930s. Much higher up. CUVs are just replicating the principles of the cars from the 1940s.
You deserve a Crown, Doug. Take that baby thru the Drive-thru. Pretty and Nice car. And I DO LIKE THE COLOR. 👍💎👍 Toyota has Always Been a Good/Great Company..

10:5410:55 VIN starts with a "J". Means it was made in Japan. That explains some of the price difference. Toyota's highest-quality vehicles are made in Japan.
@@th003gI’d say the Venza had *different* premium features. As a ‘23 Venza Limited owner, I have a power, memory-linked steering column, dimmable skylight, head-up display and a 1200-watt audio system (vs. the Signia’s 800-watt). But the new Signia gets memory-linked mirrors, headlight washers and heated rear seats. I like the Signia but do prefer the Venza’s features (although I really wish my mirrors were memory-linked).
@evdanielsson7 single stage heated rear seats can hardly be called a premium feature. Toyota really being hamstring by Lexus not moving upmarket interior wise.
Am I the only one who doesnt think this is a wagon at all? The new Outback is still classified as an SUV it's lost its wagon identity, Doug is 6'4 and its literally almost reaching him😂
I have a newer camry xse now. I really like all of it's drivetrain. I would be a buyer and completely agree on waiting for a used low mileage one. Someone needs thr brown on brown combo.
Conclusion from Doug: this car is totally worth the price, but people nowadays care more about practicality than features, so no one's going to buy it. Well maybe you should teach people about value Doug!?!?
I'd spend less time categorizing it and more time on real concerns such as seat height from the ground, general visibility for the driver, visibility of front end (for pulling into parking), and interior space. The little cubby hole under the rear floor is a good spot for jumper cables. I struggle with where to put them in my 4Runner.
The Toyota lineup is very clear and logical. The problem is that Americans seem to be incapable of understanding the difference between crossovers, SUVs and off-roaders - as Doug showed in this video. He clearly has no clue about these classes of cars, as evidenced in 2:32 and him using "crossover SUV" as one thing. Comparing a crossover (Crown Signia) to an SUV (Highlander) makes as much sense as comparing a sedan to a pick-up truck. A crossover is a higher version of a regular car. Just like this car. Highlander is clearly an SUV. Different type of car, different target audience, expectations and characteristics. Plus. 7s to 100 km/h - "not as slow as to be dangerous, but..."... 😵💫 Seriously? 7s in a family urban car is something to criticize?
No the Highlander is a. 3-row midsize crossover on the same platform as the Camry. The 4Runner is a proper off-roading SUV. So is the Sequoia which is an SUV based on the Tundra. The Land Cruiser is another off-road focusing SUV so those are 3 proper SUVs
I know the placement of the lights is not the norm but I like and appreciate it. As more and more taller SUVs displace fewer and fewer sedans, the headlights are getting higher and higher. By placing the headlights lower on the front fascia (closer to where fog lights usually are) you are also preventing the blinding of sedan and sports car drivers. I drive a Pontiac Solstice and I appreciate not being blinded in the rear view and side view mirrors. Vehicles like this Crown, the Hyundai Kona, Tucson, Santa Cruz and Palisades, etc. I believe the first SUV to make this change was the 2011 Nissan Juke followed by the 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
A couple of comments. Toyota can afford to take chances. I think they're taking a chance with the 'Crown' line and hoping there's a market for people that would choose a car in between a Toyota and Lexus in price & status. I'm also not sure that it'll work out. Having said that, I think they've created a great vehicle here. It looks good, gets great MPG, has no range anxiety, is high quality, has lots of space... And I think there are plenty of folks out there (like me) that are empty nesters that only need 2 rows to travel with another couple or take one or two grandkids around occasionally. I personally don't want to drag around a 3rd row of seats at our stage of life. We recently bought an NX... but if this would have been available, we would have checked this out as well.
This video reminds me a lot of Doug's original review of the LC500. Kindof bashing the car only on the basis of not understanding who would buy it over other similar options. Seems like a very reliable, practical luxury car that gets great gas mileage.
I like it. I liked the original Venza but so so on the second edition. I do like the styling, don’t need third row and like that’s it’s higher than a sedan. My issue is price and wish they offered it in macadamia interior that they have in the sedan.
The business case for this car is "I really want a Lexus RX, but can't be seen in one for social or professional reasons". There are lots of those people.
Had 7 Subarus including 4 Outbacks, one Crosstrek(least favorite), one Forester, and my original one the 1993 Impreza front wheel drive which I used studded snow tires on and it was great. I am considering this Crown Signia due to size, wagonlike bearing, awd, hybrid, and the fact that the closest Subaru dealer is 2 plus hours in every direction, but there is a Toyota dealer within 50 miles. I am like the grandparents from Calgary... but it is a little too rich for my blood and not sure about tires. I run all terrrain tires on my 2020 Outback with 75,000 miles. Bring on the Outback hybrid soon Subaru or I will have to seek alternatives as we are a one vehicle family living in the middle of nowhere and do not want to break down. Original cars in the 80's were Hondas but their CRV did not have a good enough AWD system and slipped in snow and got stuck in mud that the Subaru would have had no trouble with. Also had Civics and a Honda Wagon using studded snow tires in Vermont but now in altitude of New Mexico. A little concerned about ground clearance as well. We do not always plow or shovel our road in every snowstorm and it can have quite a bit of snow that we plow our Outback through just barely...
No way that there are people out there that want something that has a significantly better interior than the aging RAV4, don't want the size of the highlander, and don't want to pay for a lexus. There is just zero chance of that... oh wait, I'm buying one asap.
I’m going to go from a hemi to something like this or the new maverick….i actually think the crown Signia looks amazing and Toyota hit it out of the park with the looks…at around 40 mpg it’s on my list of potential buys
Yea I went to the dealer here in Jamaica to look at it as well and it's sold here as a crown and more of a big step up from a cross based on how they did the layout on the showroom floor. Interesting enough I was looking with my sisters inlaws who already have a land cruiser a Prado and crown sedan and you hit the nail on the head..this is what they wanted lower to the ground but still easy to get in and they don't care about seats but want good mileage.

Corolla and Camry: [nervous sweating]

I saw this in person at the dealership today. I actually really liked this car!
I don't.

As a single child family, I like this thing to replace my wife's Outback in the future. The one thing I would miss are the Outback roof rails for a roof bag when roadtripping wi 22:39 th the whole family. Signia does have low profile roof rails.
Exactly! The Outback sell around 150,000 units per year, there must be a market for a high quality competitor.

I love the hammer-head design of this & new Prius. I also like that Toyota has many different cuv/suv options for every taste & budget. I never thought that DeMuro would find a way to complain about that. Of course, this is a guy who drives a Barbie Gwagen 😂
Doug looking like Gru in the car's reflection at 6:35
10:54 10:55 VIN starts with a "J". Means it was made in Japan. That explains some of the price difference. Toyota's highest-quality vehicles are made in Japan.
Not anymore 😂
with the devalued yen that should make it cheaper not more expensive
So was the Venza. The venza actually had more premium features than this car. Interior Materials wise, this car is a downgrade
Very thorough- great job
Look what they've done to my boy Crown...
Am I the only one who doesnt think this is a wagon at all? The new Outback is still classified as an SUV it's lost its wagon identity, Doug is 6'4 and its literally almost reaching him😂
Yeah is just a tad too tall for me to call it a wagon, if the car was slammed maybe 😂
You're not alone! The ground clearance and overall height make it too big to be a wagon, imho.
@@valiantviktorthen it's a crossover wagon
My pet peeve is calling tall crossovers a wagon, which this is not. This is just a crossover trying hard to be a wagon.
Just lower it and it would be a wagon a 100%
I have a newer camry xse now.
Thats why I purchased a Mazda Sport Wagon this weekend. I was surprised how fast it was & how it takes corners.
Agreed.
And you can automatically clean the headlights, and leave a big dirty water/soap stain dripping down the front trim.

Toyota gonna start pricing entry level cars at around 60k soon. 😂
There will always be a Corolla at not $60k
What's a new Corolla SE now? $25K, $30? Prices are getting ridiculous.
I guess 50 years will be soon to arrive 😂
@@AdamG1983but an LE is 22, and dealers are selling them for 20.
@@rashodm7129 and people willl continue defending it cuz it’s “reliable”. We’re getting cooked
This video reminds me a lot of Doug's original review of the LC500. Kindof bashing the car only on the basis of not understanding who would buy it over other similar options. Seems like a very reliable, practical luxury car that gets great gas mileage.
Of course this isn't high performance
NOT EVERY CAR HAS TO BE ABOUT PERFORMANCE!
@Doug Demuro You can have 2 panels at once. Music and map on at the same time on the infotainment.
I think Doug will be eating his words about the Signia not selling well.
Sure buddy😂
With realistic sales targets matched to supply and steady marketing, the Signia should succeed.
I like it. I liked the original Venza but so so on the second edition. I do like the styling, don’t need third row and like that’s it’s higher than a sedan. My issue is price and wish they offered it in macadamia interior that they have in the sedan.
In today's market the Siginai XLE is price competitive. I would also like to see more interior upholstery and exterior paint options.
You’re wrong Doug. This is going to fly off the shelves
No way that there are people out there that want something that has a significantly better interior than the aging RAV4, don't want the size of the highlander, and don't want to pay for a lexus. There is just zero chance of that... oh wait, I'm buying one asap.
😉
Doug is the kind of a guy who brags about his car going 0 - 60 in 4 seconds while sitting in traffic.
My mom always used to tell me why do you need a fast & quick car as a commuter when you are sitting in traffic and must adhere to traffic laws. 😂
@@paulira7407the reason is CRIME😂😂😂
I’m going to go from a hemi to something like this or the new maverick….i actually think the crown Signia looks amazing and Toyota hit it out of the park with the looks…at around 40 mpg it’s on my list of potential buys
PLEASE UPDATE THE DOUGSCORE SPREADSHEET. THANKS!
"The Crown sedan is kind of a heinous car." Toyota will be canceling the Crown sedan forthwith. lol
Really ? It's selling that bad ?
