"They want our rhythm but not our blues". Like it 👍🏾
“We lack the idea of research and nuance” this is the same woman that ‘Juicy Smolliet’ did nothing wrong 💀
Doesn't the word we imply that she includes herself in that statement?
Fat joe has never tried to disassociate himself with “blackness” which is why no one cares when he uses it. Gina is 1 of those tricky people you gotta watch out for...flip floppin and being problematic
Seems he's thy only latino that acknowledges anthropological data that says all humans come from Africans.
Yep. She straight tried to make distinctions when speaking at a roundtable with Tracy Ellis Ross.
@@Cng215 well it doesn't have to be that all humans come from Africans, but specifically Latinis DO have African roots.
@@kokolatte825 Wrong...there are plenty of Latinos with non black roots. Please stop lying.
@@TheChannelJ1 plenty not the majority.
She said it..
I’m sure saying Fat Joe is not right. Adjacency my ass. He doesn’t even know the history. Fat joe has used black culture for his come up. I don’t know one song he has had with a with a collaboration from a black persons. Stop giving Puerto Rico so much validation. Shit I’m Caribbean’s and Latin American do you not know the history 🤦🏾♀️ but I still love my Puerto Rican but keep your arms length and speak the truth
yet she is colorist & tries to speak on behalf of all black women without doing research. Then...gaslighted the dark skinned black women who attempted to enlighten her.
She literally has a degree in African American history or studies.
Just bought her book 📚
You wasted your money. Read anything by Thomas Sowell, you’ll learn the truth.
She has so many stories of why it’s everyone else’s fault for her have nots. It’s never HER
Narcissistic personality disorder!
Yup.
I kinda get it. Gina is being Kamala Harris. In front of black people it's "I'm a black woman, I listen to snoop dog and use to get high at my hbcu."
As if that's what blackness is...
But when Kamala is in front of an Indian audience it's "as an Indian woman myself I intend too_____insert here"
Indians are very racist too,so Kamala wouldn’t be in front of their audience.
Ehhhh...point taken. Thing is whatever space she's in, when it comes to celebrating AA culture she sideswipes and big ups Latinx. I have no prob with that but it's never a recognizing. Then when it's a minority specific thing she's like "as a brown girl/POC..." So with the "nigga" talk then laughing it off, and posting that shit knowing you can do better, is telling us exactly what you're about.
Very smart lady... On Fleek in this interview
Well said!
she rite
Not okay in Brooklyn,
💯
Amanda Seales on point!
She’s right.
🗣🗣🗣 talk your shit
shes so damn articulate. I love her yellow self!
Im just tired of this culture and era of “feeling offended” theres way more important issues in this world and in this life 🤦🏻♀️
Boom!!!!
💯
Love Amanda, preach!
Is there any other group of people that has adopted such a slur of their people as a term of endearment for themselves?
The Romani people sometimes call them selves the ethnic slur “gypsy”. So the answer is yes.
@@magnexindra so you equate "gypsy" to the n-word?
@@kenn.alexander It is not the same but it would be a solid equivalent considering the History of Romani people.
Difference is in English the word has been gentrified by all sorts of W.A.S.P. hippies during Woodstock and after
The word in French "Gitan" would get you beat on sight, same in the British Isles think Brad Pitt in Snatch.
I can confirm Some Romano called themselves that word in Italian Zingaro, French, Spanish, Irish slang.
Yet in my experience, I've lived in Europe, no Romani called me any racial epithet. But they do have words for white people.
My black ass was like🤔. "You all white TF"
@@TititoDeBologay 😂😂😂
It doesn't matter what other people have done. We have. It's our choice. Get over it.
Bruh this is ridiculous lol

Amanda is light skinned with a more loose curl to her hair. She tries so hard to be an activist for the black community and acts as if she isn't privelaged.
yomama22 lala But what does her light skin tone have to do with anything .What you said is ignorant and colorist .Even though she may be lightskin she still goes through the same experiences as a black woman. People dont care if you’re lightskin or not they see you as black .
yomama22 lala thats an ignorant comment. Almost everyone in my family are light or can pass for white and we are all black militants. Skin color means nothing. Stfu
Laura Otakho there is no reverse Colorism. Ism’s are based on history and systems, not emotions, and there has never been a dime in the black community where light skinned people were oppressed. Light skinned blacks however did create systems to keep darker skinned people from being admitted to HBCU’s and joining other black churches and organizations. This isn’t something darker skinned people have ever had the power to do in the community. As a black woman, Amanda experiences racism for sure.
I love you amanda
