Remember watching this back in1991 when this was on . Though it was straight up bullshit that NWA wasn`t even nominated for the catagory considering the album Niggaz 4 Lfe was Number 2 on Billboard within weeks of its release . Then again the Straight Outta Compton video was banned from MTV for depicting gang activity and so forth so in a way not overly shocked that got snubbed by them .MTV was more about the pop crowd than anything . At least tback then they played videos . Now look at wtf its become .Nothing more than reruns of old tv shows ,reality tv and maybe the odd video oncev in a while . Same deal with Muchmusic up here in Canada where i live . Thank god for RUclips so i can watch old school hip hop videos . Outta here .
