My best buddy is Danny Cottar from TIME TOY. When he lived here in Petaluma, CA we played in a band together. He's the best guitar player I've ever known. He can play ANYTHING.

So many things went right, then went sideways. Imagine this group of musicians, had no one, no substance, interfered with them…. Managers with agendas, alcohol, drugs, egos…. Sometimes, i wonder if the music landscape hadn’t gotten so ridiculous, then changed on a dime in protest, if VH would have stayed together. You take human beings, with human frailties and desires, then the mad genius of EVH, unable to turn off his creativity…… I would have loved to see this band stay United, rather than flame hard and burn out as they did. Still - 4 amazing albums, tens of thousands of miles on the road, and four incredible players doing their level best to entertain the world. Each of them deserve their place in the history books for their contributions to music and entertainment. Rest in peace, Ed. Wolf will keep the flame burning.

I never knew anything about ABWH until it was brought to my attention from a coworker of mine back in 1990 or 1991 and my coworker ( waitress ) knew How Big A YES Fan I was even back then so they gave me their CD of ABWH and As Soon as I Started Listening To it I was In Love with It From The Beginning To The End Of The Whole CD and I Still Have That Same CD Today and I’m Still In Love With It After All Those Years Ago !

I saw 2 ABWH shows. I liked the ABWH album released in summer 1989. I started following YES in 1971, and still do to this day, 3-31-2022. This YES related band was actually another YES band. The band YES ( Chris Squire, Alan White, Tony Kaye, Trevor Rabin) were inactive during this period. Trevor released a solo album, " Can't Look Away" in July 1989. ABWH had to call the tour " An evening of YES music, plus" due to use of band name infringement- owner of an only YES name was held by Chris, Alan, Trevor, Tony!

I knew some of these people pretty well during my adolescence in Athens- notably Jim Herbert (Art Professor) Ricky Wilson, Keith Strickland, and Jerry Ayers. I left before the music scene broke worldwide. I still am in touch with Herbert- he changed my life, outlook, and life motivation. As odd luck would have it, my friend Owen Scott III and I recorded(EAT MY CLOUD-The Smoking Gnomes) a pretty decent record 40 + years after meeting in Athens.

I was at their first Van Hagar concert in Shreveport, La. in 86, and it was great. Then again in 1991 💪😎🤳🎸🥁🎶🎹 I was also at the1978 Van Halen DLR show in Shreveport, La. which was great too. 🤘😎👌🎸🎶🥁🎹 I am a Lucky Man🎶🎸🎤🥁💃🕺
