@@trokiando9566 they're neat cars but they are fugly. You kinda grow to like them, at least I did. This one's done up nice but the car itself isn't stellar stock.

Chris Masters that's pretty decent but I'm long past the days of running front wheel drive cars. I would much rather invest 100,000 into a V8 than put 10,000 into a v6
Yeah I had a 2000 Monte Carlo SS that I swapped a supercharger out of an 04 in to. Was pretty fast. ran mid 12s all day. had comp cams with a pretty high lift, shift kit, SLP headers, prj ignition wires, dynomax super-turbo cat-back exhaust, customized pcm, smaller modular pulley system, thrasher cold air induction, high stall converter, and a bunch more. Had lots of plans but a deer at 85 ended those plans quick haha.
Actually, the GM 3800 stemmed from the comapny tinkering with a high output V6. All the stock internals of a 3800 can handle huge amounts of power. So why not?
Imagine if this motor was swapped into a 2400lbs fiero, (rear wheel drive, mid engined, the 3800 is a simple swap that's been well documented in the fiero community)
Ohhh man. If I built a turbo fiero, I'd mount the turbo close to the rear bumper. Down pipe and screamer pipe, exiting side by side. It'd be a fireball machine!
@@srirachasauce8430 The plans for my fiero were a turbo 3800 and an IMSA widebody kit. I still intend on doing something like that once I get my hands on another body.
Yeah, even fwd cars will attempt to wheelie, that is why you sometimes see wheelie bars on them. They torque the front wheels enough to cause it to hop.
Probably, and I wouldn't argue that with you. But even if you compare stock to stock, fwd to rwd, fwd is always going to have more grip, just because of the weight of the engine.
It's a ZZP engine. Completely rebuilt 3800. Not bored, but doesn't matter. The 3800 has a high concentration of nickel in it and is a relatively strong engine. Can put some good HP out of those engines...
You know,I always thought these cars looked pretty, but that's it. Now I know better. That car has sex appeal, AND can do work. I know what I'm buying now for a daily.
+chris preston those supercharged 3800's can be made into absolute monsters with little work. Upgrade from an m62 to m90 eaton supercharger and put on a 3.5 inch pulley you can make over 300hp.
The 3800 already had an Eaton M90 on it from the factory. You're probably thinking of the 3800 S/C Series III that had the 'Gen V' Eaton M90. It was a more efficient and better overall unit than the earlier ones and could make more boost and thus power. If you're going to step down in pulley size on any supercharged engine, you're going to need bigger injectors, fuel pump, fpr, intake, exhaust, and probably some kind of meth injection or an intercooler setup. Not to mention it will have to be tuned. All that stuff adds up big time.
Loren Husky not really. It’s actually pretty cheap compared to other engines. For about $500 you can get a good tune and exhaust upgrades from zzp. It’ll drive like a completely different car.

Just cut off the muffler and to get the smoke all u gotta do us drain out exactly 2 and a half quart of oil run it for 4 days then do a nice oil change then it'll be every bit as good as this car
