- I'm happy to bring you a full ship tour of the newly refurbished (2019) Celebrity Millennium.
This is Celebrity Cruises' oldest ship and the first in the Millennium Class. It's looking fresh and new, and it sails with about 2,100 passengers max, making it a pleasant classic cruising experience.

The 1st time cruiser will not be aware of the up charges for some of the specialty restaurants, also.. Gelato, specialty coffee/pastrie etc.. You should mention that...
They will know if they do their research! 😃
@Dee Tee This is part of that research... and the presenter certainly knows about the upcharging. Wonder if he gets kickbacks...
No Celebrity ship has rock climbing walls or slides or anything like that regardless of age or size. That's just not part of the Celebrity style. It's 90,000 tons because when it was built, that was considered a large ship. Ships have grown in size. The Millennium didn't have all those restaurants on it either. It had one specialty restaurant only and those were added in the Solsticizing refit. I don't like that the Rendezvous Lounge is now less colorful in the seating. The redesigns have gone to too many neutrals beige with blues rather than the vibrant colors of the original ship and the dining room has been downgraded in decor as well as the casino. All in all, the Solstice improvements are fine, the revolutionized refurbs are a mixed bag due to the more dull colors chosen. Doesn't fit this ship IMO. The ship should be fine. It's classic modern but still a fairly modern ship.
