Yes they are so great when you’re planning
When you spoke about Bob I really felt that. We started cursing with my grandpa when I was 14 and he had been an avid cruiser long before that. It became a family tradition, he absolutely loved to travel and meet new people and he especially loved sharing such happy moments on the ship with the family. We we had postponed our cruise many times due to covid and we finally re booked it for his birthday October 2021. He was so excited to be on the Panorama and was even more excited to be on the lido deck as it was his favorite spot “where all the happening is” sadly We lost him on March 15th 2021. We are still going to cruise on his birthday in his honor. I’m sorry for the loss of Bob, my condolences to your entire family. Keep those memories alive with each cruise.

I like that there’s a smoking area so ppl who don’t smoke can keep away from that area. I love the idea of having activities planned on where they are. It’s awesome that there’s a coffee shop!!! I love the outdoor areas!!!

Yes, another great, extensive tour. Thanks for sharing your personal memories. They indeed happen onboard cruises/vacations and become quite dear to us.
I happened to tour this ship for hours when it was brand new docked in New York City. I think some changes are an improvement. Most of them. But two changes I don't like are the dining room and casino. That dining room was a work of art and now the glorious railings, the whole class of it is gone. It's now a nice enough area but it didn't need to be "modernized." Great design is timeless and it was a great ship's dining room. Sure it was darker but it was also much richer. Great design is timeless.
The Rendezvous and Sky Lounge look fabulous. The changes in the Rendezvous are fine. Bringing in some Solstice areas made sense as when I sailed the Constellation, that Pavillion space did not work that well. The Rendzvous had the dancing and bands but the place "upstairs" didn't have much going on beyond the small Martini bar. Now it has a restaurant and wine bar. And Michael's is a huge downgrade. For some reason the new lounge looks like it is lifted straight from an Edge ship and doesn't suit this ship at all IMO. Wrong style. The old Michael's club was so elegant. Even if they lightened the wood, why not just add the bar and such. But, it is what it is Most passengers don't use it anyway.
Fortunes was an incredibly fancy area that is just not so fancy anymore. I feel the elegance and just expensive look of this ship isn't what it was. There are wonderful additions from Solstice. I just don't know why they'd touch the casino's decor or the dining room. The casino wasn't dark. It was just really fancy.
The ship looks quite well maintained and not tired or "old" in any way. Sure, it doesn't have the latest and greatest tech, but that's ever evolving. The newest ships always have the best tech. But the Millennium now has a lot more features than when new plus only a specialty restaurant was deleted and it was replaced with another and more of them.
And the observation lounge looks terrific and has kept its original furniture. Excellent. You see why I complain about it missing in the Edge class? It's such a great space and crucial for sailing in Alaska or the Norweigan Fjords.
I hope Celebrity doesn't change the dining room in all the Millennium and Solstice ships. They may but they may not realize just how wonderful the original designs were. May the Millie ships sail well into the next decade. I hope their age doesn't turn people off from them. They're still very fine ships and reasonably up to date.

I was on Millennium in 2001 and 2019. The flower shop was in the 2 story area that’s a kid’s area now in 2001 so I think you might be wrong about it being where Qzine is now.

Danny! You're a tall handsome man with an amazing personality! The hair is sooo 2005 though. Hit up one of those fantastic salons and go for a sophisticated side part. Also that air ball had me rofl.
Could you *please* show a tiny bit more detail about accessibility features in your tours?
Especially lifts, bathrooms, ramps, accessible tables and theatre spots, Braille options, captions and plugs for CPAP machines.
That lift to the Retreat area, for example, looks like it's behind a narrow, locked gate... but you only showed it for a second, so I can't tell anything about it.
Is it locked? Pass card access only? Do we have to call cruise staff every single time? Limited hours? How is access at the top? Is it locked at night? Locked in storms? Is it airconditioned or an oven? Is it unreliable or not always offered/neglected or broken... like pool lifts often are?
I am a disabled person and I'd love to book a cruise, and upgrade to something like the Retreat, but *not* if the only access for me is behind a locked gate that I have to spend hours waiting for a crew member to open for me every single time.
Or worse, they repeatedly "forget" to open or unlock basic access routes.
I'd love to use a travel agency that at least includes *some* accessibility information in their tours and reviews.
So far... we haven't found a SINGLE travel agent who cares about accessibility details or potential customers - it's *always* "find out yourself"... and zero useful information, or worse they LIE and we end up facing the consequences of that lie.
Disabled customers deserve support too.

How about Covid testing? Will there be any port side testing? We are on the Dec 13 departure to Eastern Caribbean.
The protocols are changing frequently, so I would keep checking the requirements for your specific cruise.

i trust your AA membership is up to date with all those drinks and did you have to book any of the shows ? As my wife and i are sailing on the Britannia on Sunday 4th of July and we have had to book every show on line they are free but we have to book our seats so that the numbers are controlled and we have do the same for all the dining venues on board but we do that with the ships app once we are on board so you cannot just go in on a whim, . DId you have to do the same ?
I don't agree with taking away the bow of the ship... A space everyone should have access to...
It isn't about questioning it, and the lounge below still has access to the amazing views. After the revolution that space works better as a Retreat only space, and we LOVE the suite product now that they have made the upgrades.

We don't design the ships, but if they didn't make it a suite area suite guests would be complaining. There is no way to please everyone, and we love the space.

You don't take issue with the jogging track , running through the middle of one of the most popular spaces on the ship? You didn't question that...
It isn't as optimal as Oasis Class, but ships rarely have a dedicated running track. However, we do usually mention that it is best to utilize it early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid congestion.

Maybe you can use "too" or "also" to mix it up a bit. Just wanted to mention that. :-)
