@@DOUBLE0SEVUN I think depends on your strength conditioning honestly. I bought a 65 pounder and it was heavy as shit..lol! I wanted one so bad, I sent it back and got a 50 pounder instead. I'm 6'3" and 280 lbs with a judo/wrestling background. I figured in a few years I can build up to the 65 pounder. Remember its and oblong shape which makes it tough to "pick up" like you would a barbell, etc.
Hi. I already train a lot of functional strength movements with sandbags, barbells, dumbells, and of course my own body weight. I am curious what a good size/weight of a bag would be good to get for someone who already had a good base, great core strength, etc. I know you are not supposed to go too heavy because you want to use it for endurance, but I also don't want it to be too light. Any tips? Thanks!
I made my own bulgarian bag and tried to workout. It is extremely hard because i put a wet sand hahaha. Anyway, Ivan Ivanov has a perfect tehnique and beast strenght
How long would one of these things last? Deciding between these and a kettlebell. These look more functional than a kettlebell, but a kettlebell will last my lifetime and the liftetime of probably my kids. These (because of the dynamic nature) look like they'll wear out quickly... particularly around the handles.
I've seen a vid somewhere in which they show one that was supposedly used everyday for 5 years which showed just alittle peeling of the leather where the thumbs grip the bag. I've been using kettlebells for a few years and don't want to miss them. A few weeks ago I built a B-Bag out of a tire innertube, since for trying out the original Bag is very expensive. So far I'm happy with what I built and am not thinking about buying the real one. Both tools are good for simultaneous strength and endurance training. KBs are quite limited to vertical movements whereas the Bag can be used horizontally and vertically. Give them both a try.
+Robert Abbott I've purchased one of the bags and the best I can say about the filling is it's a soft, dense material stuffed into the leather bag. They vary in weight; the one used in the video with the red straps is probably the 12kg bag.
NOTE: There is no music dubbed over this video. This music just starts when and where ever Ivan starts exercising.
God that made me laugh
Bought the bag a couple of months back. What an amazing tool. Thank you.
Good for grappling: BJJ, wrasslin, sambo, judo etc.
I just went out and brought one after watching this.
Its a brutal workout tool.
Ivan is a beast! Thanks for even more functional movements that I can add to my workouts. I love my Bulgarian Bag, thanks Suples!
This is some serious cardio, and he doesn't even stop for a short break! Thank you!

Ottima anche per quelli che, come me, iniziano ad essere maturi (62) e hanno poco tempo. In mezz'ora si mette insieme un buon WO

37 or 42 lbs would be good for you
Awesome
Naming your kid Ivan Ivanov is the Bulgarian equivalent to a North American kid named Richard Richardson, Will Williams, or Mike McMichaels.
Steve McStevieson
Very cool .
love it great
Very interesting
I just tried this with a heavier pillow I have and that was hard enough. I don't think I would even be able to use this bag if I bought it.

Hi Mr Ivanov, what weight bag should I use if I'm 95 kg's?
Ivan 💪💪💪💪💪
What weight do you have training?
Nice...
Perfect
What size bag is the Coach working with in this demo.
He is using the 12 Kilogram one (red straps).
''zihuatown'' For you is funny but Bulgarians are one of the best of the best attletes and gymnastic ;)

You are only limited to your imagination with kettle bell
Kettlebell is strength, strength is kettlebell
"WHAT IS IN THE BAG" ? "HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH" ? THANK'S

Hii
It's really a nice work out but actually it's too fast for me :// the exercises could have been done a bit slower in my opinion
Do them slower then
Alrightyy brooww,, swing it fast.... swing it hard....
Looks like a great way to injure yourself, if not done completely properly
same with picking up a pen off the floor.
