    What's the weight recommendation for beginners?

    • @sushipaolo
      @sushipaolo 2 года назад +2

      10/12 kg, if you are someone who works out, if you are looking to start building muscle from zero, go lower to a weight more comfortable.

    Hey,
    I'm 100kg, experienced in strength training and have trained jiu jitsu for 2 years. What bag weight would you recommend for me? Thanks in advance!

    • @suplestraining
      @suplestraining  Год назад +1

      We would recommend either weights 30lbs, 33lbs, or 37lbs depending on your fitness and training level. If you are looking for a size that will be more beneficial to building your strength, we recommend the 37lbs Bag, if you are looking for muscular endurance we would recommend either the 37lbs or 33lbs. If you have any long-lasting injuries and tend to train with lighter weights, we recommend that you consider the 30lbs. It really comes down to your personal preference and training goals as you know your body best.
      Since you are interested in training with the Bulgarian Bag would like to invite you to the Suples Bulgarian Bag Championships taking place on September 23rd, 2023, where we will be awarding a total of 18 Bulgarian Bags, one to the top 3 placers in each competitive category! - suples.com/page/107/Suples-Bulgarian-Bag-Championships.html

    What weight would you recommend for power and overall conditioning training. I am 110kg experienced martial artist, have never trained with a bulgarian bag but have done a lot of kettlebell training. Thanks.

    • @suplestraining
      @suplestraining  2 года назад +5

      We would recommend a 33lbs or 37lbs Bulgarian Bag. The 33lbs will be a little lighter, allowing you to learn the exercises a little easier than the 37lbs, however, it will still challenge you, your grip, and muscular endurance. On the other hand, the 37lbs Bulgarian Bag will be great for more power training, which is what you are looking for. It may be a little more of a challenge to learn the exercises at first, but it is definitly very much doable.

      Yes, the 20kg Bulgarian Bag is going to be too heavy, especially for someone who is just starting out with such training and movements. For your weight and background in MMA, we would recommend starting off with the 12kg Bulgarian Bag. It may feel light for simple exercises such as squats or presses, however, when you begin to do more of the Signature Suples Bulgarian Bag exercises and training, you will realize that this weight and size will be a good fit that will challenge you but will also allow for you to perform the exercises safely. You can still use your heavier bag for power training, especially once you learn the Bulgarian Bag movements with the lighter bag.
