I never understood why people think the bass is easy. You have to play both the notes and the dynamics. I know dozens of good guitar players. However, I can count all the good bass players I know on my fingers, and have a few fingers left. There is a big difference between playing the bass and getting a noise out of it.
Miku Kobato (the pigeon) was the original singer (and founder) of the group, but decided early on that her voice wasn't hard rock enough, so the group's baby (in years only) Saiki was taken on. Apart from some early songs, Miku is also the lyricist, also having her own side project - cluppo. On this MV MISA obviously needs her own cliff to play out her magnificent Überfrau role.

Their Unleashed!!!!! EP is being released tomorrow, and that was announced back in May. But, unless I missed something, this new video was unannounced until shortly before it premiered.
The first half of the song was okay for me as a Band-Maid fan. But then, Saiki rapping, Misa base solo and Kanami guitar solo! I was blown away! Also the second vocalist and guitarist is Miku Kobato :) she was basically the one who had the idea for "Band-Maid"

I read a book some years ago called 'The Uglies' and it is all about the youth always being on webcam 24/7 and their ranking in society is based on how many people view their channel. It turned into a series of novels, but very good and a little ahead of the "influencer" trend that came into being...

Yeah, bass is easy to pick up and play. I could teach someone the entire catalog of AC/DC, Van Halen, Nirvana, and ZZ Top within the first two weeks of that person starting on the instrument. That said, the heights that you can elevate the bass to, as exemplified by Miyu from Asterism and Koga from Gacharic Spin and lovely MISA here, those heights are pretty high.

I may not be right on the trumpet. According to a rumor I read on 2 ch MISA was seen in a music store in Tokyo playing around with various Schecter 7 string guitars several months ago.
If you liked the voice of the guitarist (miku) then you would probably enjoy sayonakidori in which only she sings. Also its one of my favorite band maid songs =)
Hey Luke, if you wanna hear Miku (rhythm guitarist with pigtails) singing more, listen to Rock in Me, she does the entire vocals. There’s a live version of it. Also I believe she does the main vocals in one of the acoustic live songs they did.

BAND-MAID is amazing! The more I listen to them, the more I love their songs! I'm glad I have a pretty good surround sound set up. I love blasting their music! I recommend 'secret My lips' and 'Don't you tell ME'. Heck, I recommend all their songs, LOL!
Miku on Backing vocals and rythm guitar was actually meant to be the vocalist... But during the rehearsals, one thing became apparent: her vocals lacked punch for rock. Since the girls had ambitions, Miku deicided to step back and audition Saiki, who is at the same agency as she. It has to be said that she not only has become a good guitarist, but also become a better singer. Funfact: Miku Kobato isn't really her real name, but Mika Noguchi. Believe she changed to not sound too much like MISA?
I wonder if it's at all possible for BAND-MAID to make a bad song? So far, I have not found one. You really need to check out two songs by BAND-MAID's alternate group BAND-MAIKO. Both songs were released on April 1st a year apart a couple of years back, as sort of a joke for the fans, but the songs are AMAZING.
