    What a cute project! So easy, too! I love your delivery. I love the short, quick video, too. Very nice!!😊😊
    I noticed someone mentioned showing an example of the finished project at the beginning of the video, and I usually like that also. However, in your video you present us with such bright appealing pieces of fabric arranged neatly and in order on your table, that I am immediately intrigued and filled with curiosity about what you are about to show me. The brevity of the video also helps. Since I know it will be a short video, I know I can wait until the end to see the finished product. Very nicely done.

    I have not had any issues, pivoting at the corners and then trimming. Your way I would probably backstitch because I don’t see those two crossing stitches, being strong enough to keep the fabric together.
    Appreciate the absence of obnoxious music that most of these people think they have to put in the background
    problem is they don’t adjust the volume

    Love this idea. I have a fork, knife and spoon set that was my husbands when he was little. It is looks just like an adult set of silverware but only on a smaller scale. I have been wanting to give it to my granddaughter so this idea came at the perfect time as I can make one of these with children themed fabric and maybe make it a little smaller. Thank you for the idea! Debbie.

    Beginner here: thank you for sharing this quick project! Question: what is the purpose or benefit of “sewing off the edge”? TIA!

    • @alandacraft
      @alandacraft  Год назад +2

      The threads cross over and it just makes the seam more secure in the corners, as we clip close to the seam line to remove bulk from the corners.

    What happens when they need washing??? OK to throw them in washer and dryer??

    • @alandacraft
      @alandacraft  Год назад

      If you are concerned with your fabric shrinking then you can pre-wash and dry the fabric before sewing it.

    Cute but what does your guess do with the pouch once they remove the cutlery from it? Just a thought why not make it wider as part of a placemat.

      I have a couple of binding tutorials. Here is a link to one of them www.alandacraft.com/2022/05/01/bind-placemat-table-runner/. The way to do it is the same for a table runner or a quilt.
