Since going low-carb my favorite breakfast tool, the "Egg McMuffin" maker has sat, sadly and ignored on the top shelf of the cabinet. Well, sad no more, today I made an "Egg McMuffin" that would rival anything available in the land of Golden Arches. It was amazing and wonderful. What a treat!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for this delightful recipe!!
I just made This and loved it!! After toasting I added butter and sugar free jam to one side and the one half I added sugar free peanut butter with banana slices. Two great choices. Thank you!!
Oooh a muffin recipe that uses coconut flour. Looking forward to trying it. Another recipe I've made fits well into a sunbeam pie maker... cooks in about the same time as an oven but uses less electricity.
@@WholesomeYum I also read reviews about it tasting like cornbread. I happen to live cornbread, so I added a few drops of cornbread flavoring to the mix & now can enjoy a "corn muffin" variety of this recipe.
When fasting only drink water, black tea, green tea or black coffee. Also don’t chew gum. These tips will make your fast easier. You won’t get cravings or hunger, making fasting much easier. I hope this helps. Good luck.
I made it. Made a BLT. It was ok. Very light. I guess I am looking for a tougher texture. I will try using lupin flour in place of almond four and experiment.
I really like these, I've made them at least 3 times now and the only issue I had was me adding too much salt 1 time. I can actually use the toaster for these, I've had things fall apart in the toaster so I rarely use it for things like this. These on the other hand have been fine in the toaster. They do smell eggy after toasting but they don't taste it.
👍👍👍, I will make them tomorrow and I really hope that they will look like yours, Maya, especially after it was in the toaster - call me stupid but I really really really do miss the toasting marks/signs (i don't know which one is correct?) on any kind of the "Keto-bread"!!! Anyway, thank you and many greetings from Germany, Ela 🤗
Made this just now!! So easy! So good! One question: didn’t get the “nooks and crannies” so wondering what I may have done wrong? Nevertheless, DELICIOUS!

She mentioned ghee as an alternative to dairy, but ghee is typically made out of butter, I have made it myself years ago. She might want to consider "clarify-ing" that verbiage in the video pardon the pun.
Sorry for the confusion. Ghee is not dairy free, but it’s often a good alternative for people sensitive to dairy because the milk solids are removed. YMMV though.
@@WholesomeYum While I realize everyone's palate varies-this was not to my liking-it tasted more like cornbread than an english muffin and I got to thinking maybe if it had yeast in it, it might taste better? It was way too crumbly even after toasting :(
@@carolbowen1693 I think I will try some yeast. How much yeast do you think it would take for that small muffin?? Everything I try with almond/coconut flour never gets crunchy and Falls apart

You're very welcome! Agree, breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite things to make with this :)
This was the very first keto recipe I tried, and it's still GREAT!
Aww, thank you!!

Yay, so glad you loved it, Jen!
Very good. I made it second time in a 6 x 4 oval white cornish dish. It was perfect to smother cream chipped beef over! Thank you for the recipe.
Yum, sounds like a delicious way to serve it!
I made these for the first time this morning and made 3 more just now. They are so good. THese are going to be a staple here.
Aww, so glad you liked them!

This is the best tasting of any bread recipe I've made. Super easy & quick. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! 🤗

Aww you are adorable

I’m glad you liked it! No air pockets could be due to older baking powder or just not mixing enough.
*Yummy* 🤤

Do you know the net carbs for the one recipe?
Okay I'm going to try this because I can't find low carb keto muffins anywhere in the store. Thank you.
Hello, how long do these keep for? Can they be made in advance and used during the course of the week? Thank you
Hi Ellie, Yes, they'll keep in the fridge for up to 5-7 days or in the freezer for longer.
I need to go buy Almond flour b4 I can make them
Will let you know soon. 😋
Awesome, can’t wait to hear what you think! You can get the almond flour here: www.wholesomeyumfoods.com/shop/flours/almond-flour/

Hi! How many carbs are in the muffin?
4g net carbs. The full macros are in the post here: www.wholesomeyum.com/recipes/two-minute-toasted-english-muffin/
Do you know around how many calories has the recipe??
Hi Leticia, Full macros are on the recipe card here: www.wholesomeyum.com/recipes/two-minute-toasted-english-muffin/
Or make an eggs Benedict!
Eggs Benedict!
My first crack at it was very good, about 10% of the muffin became incredibly hard.
I'm glad you liked it! It might have been cooked a tad too long if part of it became too hard.
😋😋😋😋😋
❤️❤️❤️

yes but where's the crunch?
It does get crunchy on the outside when toasted :)

To dense and dry
Then you added too much of something. It’s delicious! Especially when you add butter!
