One point to share - we discovered cooking over our gas fire ring ealier this summer as well.... baked potatoes wrapped in tin foil with a little bit of butter olive oil.... lay them right in the lava stones, turn them over every so often.... came out perfect!

I did just get back from 10 days in Lake city Colorado where morning coffee was at about 50 on the back porch and 75 highs. That was wonderful. It seems like your area might be similar. I loved mine, it was great for a budget cooler. I have 0 complaints and I'll definitely keep it as a back up. I just wanted to upgrade to a dual zone and of course, the Ice maker! 😂
