@@WarrenHenry Always brother always. I have been looking at Antelope as well because of the conversion rates. I was waiting to hear an honest assessment of the Orion 32 + Gen 3. Now I have it. I am planning to relocate out of state and when I do the studio will be set up more as a commercial studio due to my workflow and some jobs I’m working on where the project/home studio set up May no longer fit the bill. I think I will send you video links once I have relocated and at that time I will start up my You Tube channel as well. Currently, I have content in development.

Lucio! Thanks for watching. Yes I am still using and loving the Orion. Like every other company Antelope has it's issues at times. I have a dedicated computer for just Pro Tools Recording and nothing else. Therefore, I have fewer problems. Thanks again and I hope that helps✌🏽

Hi I'm currently using the Orion in two ways. For my Laptop via Thunderbolt and for my Studio computer via USB. Thanks for watching.
Its interesting that techno producers/dj's are using Orions because of the superior DACs and stability of the interface. They saw off the ears of the unit so it can fit within their hand luggage on flights.
Antelope interfaces are quite the thing these days. Not sure if I'd saw the ears off tho. 😂
Thank you Warren. Just subscribed. I am considering the Antelope Orion 32+ as my next ADDA. I am also considering the LYNX STUDIO TECHNOLOGY AURORA (N) 32 TB. or possible the Aurora 24. I don't' need 32 tracks but the Orion seems to be a great value per cost of the Lynx ADDA's. I checked with my Sweetwater representative and asked if they sell the Orion 32+ and they said they dropped the whole Antelope line due to reliability issues. Have you had any issues with the Orion being it has been a couple of years since this post?

Your supposed to get 32 channels via USB. You can go in settings and change the channel count to 32. This can be verified in the users Manuel. As long as you have a USB 2.0 port.
Fantastic stuff... ive been wanting antelope gear for a minute...but was worried about their software problems and the fact sweetwater dropped them. But I have more confidence in buying one now. Could you at some point compare the sound of your Scarlett and this unit? Thanks.
I have the A Scarlett 2i|4 and a Saffire Pro 40 (which has a bit better spec)They're really no comparison to Antelope. You'd need to step up to the Red line in order to make that comparison. The good thing is that Antelope offers products at every price point but the high quality clocking tech trickles down to each product. Give them a shot. Thanks for watching.
their software is atrocious - I'm a new antelope user and I want to throw this gen4 unit out of my window. It's ridiculous.
Hi warren..can you help me with this ..i have an orion 32 gen3.. which goes into the dangerous 2bus+ via two dsub cables for16 channels of analog summing.. and the main output of the 2bus+ is coming back to orion on line inputs 17-18 back. So in order to get the main mix return printed on my DAW ,which is logic pro x, what routing should i create in the orion control panel ... Currently what i do is i route the line inputs 17-18 in the panel into usb rec 17-18 and also route the line in into the monitor out and the usb play of 17-18 into the 1-2 of USB play slots. Also in logic i create a audio track and mute that ... Can you help on this..love and regards.

Hey question sir - I just bought the Orion 32+ gen4 and a new Mac Studio m2 - I've tried for 3 consecutive days to install the unified driver to get my thunderbolt connection to work - but it won't work for some reason. I did the Mac recovery mode option and all - it seemed to start to work and then prompts me to restart - then uninstalls the unified driver. I've been making music for over 20 years and this is the most frustrated I've been in recent memory. I'm tempted to get rid of this thing but I wanna give it one more shot - do you think you could help? thanks man

It looks like you’re using Hosa cables. Have you done extensive cable testing to determine that those are adequate enough compared to Mogami or Canare?
Hi, thanks for watching. Hosa cables are fine. I've soldered up snakes with GEPCO, Canare and Mogami flex cable through the years and haven't heard a difference in sound quality. Thanks again ✌🏾

Ok so I have my 32 running though patch bays I have patch bay 4 as my desecrated FX peddles. How would I put an effect over what is playing though RUclips for example. It works if I use outboard gear but when I try to run something over what is playing internally it won’t work

I’ve a studio in Brazil and I’m looking for an interface that gives me 32 I/O. My first option was Presonus Quantum 4848, but I noticed it was discontinued and there’re some people with problems without answers in the company website…
Then I discovered Orion 32 + Gen 3, did some research and noticed some people complaining about the company support…
Im in Brazil and it’s very expensive to send an unit to be replaced, and it takes time either. So it’s much better if it’s a reliable equipment…
Did you ever hear about problems with Orions 32?
Now a days I have two VRS 8, but some of their outs are completely failed and they don’t work well together. I really need a solution here! Kkkk

Hi, to answer your question, yes the Orion is a good choice. However, go to their website to see who the Authorized repair center for South America. If they don't have one designated near you then shop another brand such as Lynx Aurora or Universal Audio. Whichever has a repair center that services your area might be a better choice. can you use the adat ins 1-16 at same time as analog 1-16 in?
Not sure but am inclined to say no because of the way their patching software is setup. You would essentially have a 48 input device as opposed to 32. Thanks for watching ✌🏾
