Yes, you have to calculate it and then manually enter it in, thats if you are using antelope hardware AFX. I typically route everything through the Neve mixer so the latency doesn't bother me too much
Instead of setting 11-12 to Mono, couldn't you have used the subpaths and still had 11-12 independent but available to be stereo if needed? I'm considering the new Orion 32 Gen 4 or the Galaxy 32. The routing system is cool but I probably won't use it that heavily. I prefer a well labeled patch bay. Eventually I might normal the patches. I just don't want to have to change all my software whenever I move a piece of gear
Yes that is possible, but because i'm using only one channel it just made sense to have it on its own channel. It's also a naming thing inside of Pro tools. If i had two Mono Gamas i would name it the way suggested. Antelope make some great products and you will be happy with either unit. The Galaxy takes advantage of Dante I/O. Awesome routing capabilities. Good luck on whatever you decide !
This one got you a sub thanks for breaking it down in slow mo 💯
Appreciate that
Great info. How would you connect a AD mastering converter??
Great job do you get latence round trip with protools if so what was you fix.

This is a very informative video. I have the Discrete 4 Synergy Core interface. Is there a way to map my i/o like you're doing here?
Yes, It should be very similar, just less i/o

Great video but i followed every step and none of the inserts or outputs or anything working :(
Sorry to hear that. What exactly do you mean when you say not working? No sound? No effect?
Wow this was random

You may know what you are doing, but not a good lesson. I know what I'm doing but I'm dumber now.
What specifically made you dumber ? Seems like you might not have a clear understanding of why things are done a certain way
